Lawrenceville location. I have a few things to mention. Upon walking in I've witnessed 2 unhappy patients who requested their money back for keeping them waiting for a long time and walked out. Yikes... the place was full of people sitting and waiting. This was our first time coming in with our toddler. Appointment was at 9:30, our name wasn't called till 10:30. The nurse who helped our daughter with her cast was extremely kind, careful and patient her name was Mel, thank you Mel for your kindness gentleness and compassion for our child. The Dr. who came in was Dr Bills, he answered all of our questions quickly and was out the door, the nurses took over and were very helpful. From first impressions it seemed like the place is busy and they could use more staff. I hope they pay those nurses well because it truly shows how the nurses are the ones who take the patients on more so than the doctors themselves. The front desk lady who we had spoken with Ms Logan, was extremely helpful, answered a lot of our questions that we had as we were "self pay" customers. Thank you for the nurses Mel & for Ms Logan's help and support in navigating through what seemed like a stressful situation/time for us. Cons: waiting time Tip: bring your patience with you and understand the nurses are doing their best to get to everyone, it is not their fault! Giving a 3 star rating because as a place of "business" and a place where a lot of people come they should employ more nurses/doctors that would help run the place more smoothly and more efficiently. It has potential but seeing many elderly people there made me sad for them. People should not have to wait so long for their appointments. It's unprofessional. read more

As much as I like Mercer Buck, I have a few complaints. I recommended Dr. Calaruso to a friend, and because she didn't speak good English, she was not seen, even though I called and translated for her. She never received a phone call back after we were told to email the documents. The other issue I have is with the billing department. The lady there, I can't remember her name, but it sounds like Katara or something, basically called me stupid for not knowing that I had to pay the doctor a copay, which I was never told. I paid the center $150, and that's it; nowhere was I told I needed to pay extra. She was very rude, and when I asked for a supervisor, she said there was no one higher than her. Oh, and the best complaint was calling Michelle, who is the Hamilton office manager. I left her three messages and even stopped by just to chat about the billing person, and two weeks later, I still didn't receive a phone call or any acknowledgment of the voicemail. I would think that if a patient complains about some nurse, doctor, or office personnel being rude, someone would call to apologize. read more

Type of Care: Orthopedic : ok Care Quality: should be improved , Dr should be more understanding and empathetic Office experience: Worse of all the places in terms of delay.2-3 hrs waiting time. I have been going to this center for almost 2-3 months and I am not satisfied at all, number one drs are so confusing and can reject you on the body part, as I book an appoitnment with a dr and I went after paying the fees he told me He doesnt check the body part so go to antoher Dr . took me a week to get another drs appointment, after 4 appointmetn with new Dr and some test first he says He can do fix it and then when close to the procedure I asked some question he told me I cannot answer the question and I will cancel the procedure , then why waste so much time and money of me. I have to know what should I expect from your treatment , there has to be some point other wise its just waste of time and money. Plus Dr CODJOE is very late all the time, you might have to wait 2+hrs just to see him . It always happen to all the patient for 3:30 appointment reach by 3:15 while Dr wont see you until 5:20. read more

After some really difficult experiences at other orthopedic offices, this office felt like a breath of fresh air. With a broken foot I felt like everything was easily accessible - doors even automatically opened for me. The office staff was so friendly too, and took their time with me. I was seen by Dr. Collins and loved her. I've seen so many bad doctors but she truly was everything I haven't experienced... informative, not hurried, and respectful. I have to go back soon and am so relieved I have found someone who is giving me quality care! Definitely definitely recommend. read more

I waited an hour for my appointment. No one seemed to think that was a problem at all. When I inquired first from the waiting room, and then again once I got to the exam room, because I was still waiting a while; they said things like, oh yeah he's running behind today. Office was crowded and dirty which should have been a tip-off. Doctor spent very little time with my child and his broken arm. He gave unrealistic expectations, leaving my child to wonder why he is in such pain. When I called in the morning to ask what was going on they called back about 8 hours later and said that the doctor would not speak to me. My first visit was with Dr. Capotosta, who was very nice. He no longer performs surgery, so he referred me to Dr. Eingorn. I needed a knee replacement. My surgery and recovery went well. I am very pleased with the outcome. Dr. Eingorn, his assistant, secretary and staff gave me the best care. I highly recommend them. read more

The first time I came here it was a reasonably good experience. The second time after waiting almost an hour in FULL waiting room filled with screaming children, a tv blasting and lots of people coughing and sneezing. Then they called me into the room and I waited another 20 minutes at which point I was hot and very annoyed I just left. I was in a lot of pain so I decided to give them another chance, today. Well my appointment was for 8:50AM, one of the first appointments of the day and it is now 9:30 and they told me that there is still a person in front of me! At least if they smiled occasionally and were somewhat pleasant it would help a little, but they don't and they aren't. The doctor I was set to see is ok, but I think if I don't get called soon I will find another . I highly DON'T RECOMMEND THIS GROUP OF DOCTORS! read more

Fractured my finger while at work and Workman's comp sent me to this facility which was my first choice anyhow because my son had gone here when her fractured his finger. Nevertheless my Dr was Dr. Kimberly Zambito who was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! Dr. Zambito was warm, caring and attentive. Sad I no longer need to go back-Had to give Dr. Zambito a hug on my final visit because it felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend. All the staff in Lawrenceville and Hamilton were friendly. I recommend if you need an orthopedic go to Mercer- Bucks and if possible request Dr. Zambito! read more

This office is always busy. Waited forever to see doctor. Doctor didn't explain much which left me not knowing exactly what was happening during visit. Went for follow up visit and never got to see the actual doctor. No explanation was given. I don't think I'll be using this orthopedic group again. read more

My collarbone has been separated from my breast bone for a few weeks now. It has been moving and clicking in and out of the socket. The pain has incrementally gotten worse. Dr. Zambito took X-rays and gave me the option of a CD or taking pictures of the screen with my phone. I thought it would be more convenient to have them on my phone but realize I should have taken the CD. They said it was arthritis and to come back in THREE months. This seemed like an unsatisfactory visit and anyone I told about it, agreed. So I scheduled a second opinion with Princeton Orthopedics. I got about the same opinion. The pain and bone movement are worse now. The progress is that I have a follow-up in ONE WEEK, not THREE MONTHS. And I have a CT Scan before then. read more

This place is busy but I have had all good experiences. I wish they would use a sign in system instead of having patients wait in line to check in but otherwise the doctors are good and staff are professional. In particular I would highly recommend Dr. Keith Crivello, the hand specialist. He is professional and informative and did an excellent job on my Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery. read more

Dear Mercer Bucks Staff, Your offices haven't provided me with a single shred of care, the secretaries are unprofessional and have trouble communicating with the clients. Information was withheld from me multiple times postponing my treatment until I eventually just gave up on healing my back at Mercer bucks. When I was finally able to go to my first check up doctor Cairone wouldn't even see me, (which is no surprise considering his poor treatment of vets with PTSD and his disinterested demeanor especially to those who have had their surgeries botched by him) instead I was seated with a technician who told me I could have a shot to numb the pain. After numerous phone calls that were not answered I left 3 messages none were replied to. Finally I scheduled an appointment FOR THE SHOT which I stated numerous times in the phone call to which the secretary agreed to only to find out that she just scheduled me for an appointment at the farthest facility. I almost traveled an hour for just another check up expecting a pain relief shot. If it wasn't for the late response to one of my messages I would have wasted even more time And money. You can pat yourselves on the back for that, but I guess that's what I get for having Medicaid. The reviews of your staff hold true as they all mostly state your lack of quality.  Please find new jobs sincerely, Jake read more

I would recommend the facility, just not Dr Colarusso. I was there for my third and final lubrication shot and it was my first time meeting him. I waited for almost 30 minutes in the exam room - I was the only person in the waiting room. He didn't ask about what happened, he immediately suggested I lose weight and begin a workout regime. I informed him that I was and he asked what I was doing for therapy. I told him and he said - what about walking?! And it was in a rude tone. He needs to be trained on how to speak to people and learn the causes of their injuries and not just look at someone and make assumptions. read more

my wife broke her collarbone in a biking accident. could not get into Princeton Orthopaedics right away so saw Dr Nolan at Mercer Bucks on 7/9/12. He and his assistant did minimal check of wife and went mostly by x-ray. Did not suggest anything other than rest and come back in two-three weeks. Seems like seen a million of them and nothing can be done. Then went to Princeton Orthopaedics next day. They did full and careful exam and gave us all the options including their recommendation. Got rid of the waste type brace that she had got from the hospital and gave her a "figure 8" type brace that took all the pressure off of her shoulder and she felt better right away. They did a second x-ray after installing the new brace to see if bone better set which it was. They were concerned how she felt, if there was improvement and what to do next and how to handle the next few weeks. Would never ever go back to Mercer Bucks. Just a number. read more
