The stairs in the balcony section are steep but I found the seats, themselves, to be quite comfortable. The sound and view from my seats were also always excellent. The sound carried well for our concert and the seats were okay. Not the most comfortable but I understand it is an older theatre. I only wish we had more room for dancing during the show, as it was a tight squeeze. The theatre has many striking features that give it a grand feeling. This is a lovely old building in the heart of downtown Syracuse which is probably most famous these days for being the epicenter for the ghost walks. It's great that they organize them and have jumped on the massive popularity of these things all over the world. Syracuse has a lot of old scary buildings so it's perfect for ghost walks, and the ghost walk run by this little place is actually probably one of the very best we've ever been on.

There are a lot of informative and interactive areas, including exhibits on memory, energy, plate tectonics, Earth science, the geodynamo, chip chemistry, and the Micron memory megafab. I especially liked that the museum had enough depth for adults to actually learn something, while still being very kid-friendly with hands-on displays and play areas for younger children. My only small gripe is that a few of the exhibits and interactive devices felt older or worn, and some were not fully functional during our visit. Given the age of the museum and how much hands-on use these exhibits probably get from younger visitors, it is understandable. Hopefully they continue repairing and refreshing them, because the museum itself is definitely worth supporting and revisiting. The building itself is also pretty cool, with a historic exterior and a spacious multi-level layout inside. Overall, this is a great educational stop for families, kids, and adults who enjoy science, technology, and learning something new. Highly recommended.

Went for a walk with friends and we started at the Spencer street entrance and walked to the Most…read moreand came back. It was about a 3 mile walk. You have to follow the markers and the yellow line on the path. At one point we got turned around but found our way back to the path. We found this walk very enjoyable and the path was well kept with nice scenery. We are going back to walk the other way from Spencer to Destiny mall next week.

When my son's game at a local indoor center ran over by almost 30 minutes, I called and told them we would be late. They accommodated us and seated us immediately upon arrival. About 10 minutes later, at 8pm, the live music started. It was wonderful music, but where we were seated was in front of the speakers and two of our party wear hearing aides. When it looked like we were going to have to cut our celebration short, our server, the wonderful Marcy, and another gentleman, worked to get us seating in the lower dining room in front. We were so grateful for the accommodations, and everyone was super nice about it. The food and drinks were outstanding, of course. Our party ordered the chicken bowl, the chippy chicken, the curd burger, a cheeseburger, and the turkey avocado. Everyone was silent as they ate! The service was friendly and impeccable (even when we really weren't being easy customers), and our night, which could have gone south so quickly, was made! And hopefully a younger, hipper crew moved into our table and enjoyed the wonderful music! The band was great and we really enjoyed it still from where we ended up! So cheers to the staff at AG! This is worth a visit, though don't expect to spend too much time here. A few houses in the area tend to have some very Irish decor too. While in the neighborhood, Id recommend visiting Coleman's, a local authentic Irish pub in the area. They have some Irish decor outside, and also indoors, along with a very Irish menu and pub.
