The LeBron James doll dropped today and sold out everywhere! No manager at any Target was willing to assist me. I wanted to go online and order but was unable to for some odd reason. I called Traverse city and spoke to Ryan, the manager at the store. He was awesome! He bent the rules one time and held 1 figurine for me. He showed humanity and exemplary customer service!!!!!! I work for the government and sometimes I have to show my humanity side also and it gives me a sense of pride to help someone and it gives me hope that there are still some great people in this evil world. I have to say Chris was awesome as well! He showed my mother kindness and for that I am grateful! I realize it's their job to give excellent customer service but, a lot of people don't! I thank Ryan and wish that more companies would hire the best of the best! However, over the past year, I have not been very impressed. I have worked in retail and customer service for long time, and I do understand high demand items and backorders. I have tried to order some items as simple as dog treats through the drive thru several times, and it they're ALWAYS out of stock. It will say in stock, I will order them, and I get a message telling me that they're "Out of stock." I have seen "Out of stock" then I go into the store and get them off of the shelf myself, pay for them and leave. Today, it says "In stock, only 9 left." So, I hurry up and put an online order in to wait in the drive thru for 20 minutes and have the employee tell me that they are buried and there's no forklift driver. This is the 4th time in a row I have had issues like this. I get the best value for the product at Blaine's, but the availability and service is beyond inexcusable. Please get your act together. I plan to go elsewhere from now on. This is the reason people do their shopping online.

Lastly, I have been on a hunt for chalk, and I saw some in Big Lots Memorial day ads (thanks to our neighbors heading out of town over the weekend and letting us have their paper) and well, voila.
