My last two places were, in a word, awful. They assigned one therapist to 2-3 people at once, so you'd spend an hour for 20 minutes of actual treatment - if you're lucky. They point you to a machine and move on to the next person. Justin was with me the entire hour. He tailored the workout to me. He knows when to push (think football coach) and when to ease off because your body won't take it. He knows physiology and has an exercise for everything. And he's got a terrific sense of humor. (Be sure to tell him about your cats - he loves them.) Justin is also totally honest. Unlike some PT places in the city, he won't try to rope you into more sessions than you need. When you're done, you're done. My knee healed really fast, just a few months after the break, I'm way ahead of where most people are at this point. (Of course I went to all the sessions and did exercises at home too. Justin gave me very good diagrams and they've got online capabilities too. The location is fantastic. It's convenient and well-appointed. Where else do you go to PT and see a waiting room with tables, coffee, fruit and the New York Times? It's the classiest PT place in town. Their rates are reasonable. I couldn't believe what I was getting when my insurance paid the same (or more) for PT that was a waste of time. I'm writing this during the lockdown. I was so impressed that, when we're allowed to go to gyms again, I'm going back for some personal training. And I can't imagine going anywhere else for PT.

My mother had many ailments (both physical and mental). Finding a suitable placement was difficult and our initial attempts were not pleasant. When my mother moved into Hayes things changed. Her health improved, she met new friends, and after a few weeks she informed us that our daily visits, while nice, weren't necessary. The one thing that my mother loved the most about Hayes was the staff. They treated my mother with the greatest of care and respect. From the Administrator, to the cafeteria staff, to the guard who kept her safe, Hayes was exceptional! It has been over twenty years since my mother passed away, and discovering that monument brought back great memories.

The facility is a very large building with several other apartments, it's handicap accessible and…read morehas beautiful grounds. When you walk into the large foyer there are many directions to go. The building has a great staircase and hardwood floors. Dr. Dash and friends were there to serve our seniors and have a little fun. Often many seniors that are in facilities go without visitors or a kind word outside of the staff that they see every day. Our small group tries to make a difference by visiting seniors offer them a warm home cooked meal, some gifts, games and a little one on one time with a different smiling face. Based on our interactions today for approximately four hours the staff is top notch. The staff here appears to really care about their patients they know each by their name and there seems to be warm and genuine exchanges between them. During that time there the staff were also very helpful to us and willing to work in anyway to help serve our seniors to ensure that they have a great time. Thanks Hayes House staff!!

This is a really calm atmosphere, all the staff and caregivers are very friendly. Ever since my Aunt moved in, she is never alone unless she wants to be. She settled in quickly. I like the friendly environment, the nurses and administrative staff is very good with her. It is great to see her now engaging in activities to keep her active and doing things she likes. She loves the entertainment. The staff and caregivers are so great with her and are able to get her to take her medicine everyday. She loves the meals and loves being able to sit and eat with friends. Her room is very nice and because we were able to bring some of her own furniture, it feels like her old apartment. The Executive Director Lisa McDonough is the best at keeping me updated on her progress or any health concerns. She is the best. I highly recommend The Terrace at Chestnut Hill for anyone who needs assisted living.

They bagged up her items and left them that way for over a week...check on your loved ones if you decide to place them here. Not at all what I expected...Several management and facility name changes in a short period of time says alot. This has to be the worst facility under Bridge Senior Living...

Having been to other PT offices, the difference at APT is really night and day - it's a smaller setting where you don't feel overwhelmed and you get hands-on care and feedback throughout each appointment. I am forever grateful to the team at APT for helping me get back to feeling and functioning like myself again after having both of my kiddos! I will never forget barely being able to walk into APT for my appt after my second delivery, and then the joy of being able to reflect on the return of strength and function as I ran to my last appt at the office. I had never been to PT before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Naomi was great at making me feel comfortable, educating me and motivating me to try new things. I was even able to include my husband and baby on a session. Atlantic Physical Therapy has helped me cruise through postpartum and improved my pain drastically. I was surprised each week at the progress I was making and how far I had come. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Physical Therapy for expectant and postpartum mothers.

Active Day is a day program for physically and mentally disabled adults. My daughter has been…read moregoing there for about a month now. Before she started, we were taken on a small tour of the place and spoke to some of the staff. Everyone greeted us with a friendly hello. They always answer the phone with " This is Active Day! How can I make your day better!" Which always makes me smile! The schedule is great! They are open from 7-6pm Mon-Fri. So I was able to pick the hours and days that was convenient for me. I have to bring and pick my daughter up, but I don't mind because it is near my home. There is a lot of paperwork and etc. to do before getting into the program, but it is worth it. My daughter loves it and tells me all about it when she comes home! They make a Active Day by providing them with fun activities,music, singing, playing instruments, movies, walks etc. They also provide them with breakfast, lunch and a snack (depending on the time they come in). I also like that their door is locked, so people can't just walk in off the street....you have to be buzzed in. Wish I had found this place sooner, but glad I know now!

Yeah, so it's odd to review medical services, but hey, when something impresses me this much, I…read morewant to spread the word. So recently someone working a voodoo doll of me hit the right spot and the need for a tune up arose. I've had plenty of surgery in my time, usually related to my innate ability to trip down stairs or some other, similar fete of acrobatic skill (not). So anyway, we arrive into the large, well appointed waiting center. TV's have channel ten on, and free coffee and beverages are provided for your waiting guests. I was pleasantly greeted and escorted back to a private prep room. The room had a large, very comfy leather chair that reminded me of the 'dad' chair in the maternity rooms. We'll keep to the highlights. The gown I was given was the new style 'bair' gown. Apparently designed to be connected to a heated air supply. Seriously. It's a great idea, as I've heard many friends express how cold these waiting areas can be. They plug you in, turn this on, and viola, toasty warm! Frankly, the gown itself was warm enough for me and felt more like a sauna suit. You are also provided with a personal garment bag to put your belongings in. You may take the bag, but they don't let you keep the hanger, which is a shame as it's a big heavy metal one. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. From registration all the way to the guy who wheeled me out the door, 'best care anywhere' was definitely the case. Another highlight was the anesthesia doc, who numbed my hand prior to inserting the IV. Let me tell you, I hate IV's. The feeling of that tube laying in there just does not make it on my happy list at all. By numbing me first, I didn't feel a thing. It was a small, but for me, important touch that took a lot of the stress of the event out. So if the need arises in your life for a little tune up, let me recommend this place. They even validate your parking at the 11th street garage, and let's face it, after the $100K+ procedure you probably just had, you'll need every one of those saved dollars for your co-pay!
