My issue is they only seem to test for Covid. Once that test comes back negative the nurse practitioner tells you some dismissive catch all nonsense and sends you on your way. Last time she did that I ended up having Pneumonia. Place is a glorified Covid rapid test center. If all you need a Covid test and bullshit doctors note for work this is the place for you.

The care I received here was incredible, from the front desk, to the nurse who took my blood pressure (Jas) and the amazing PA (Jean Marie) who took care of my botched thumb and made me laugh. I was having trouble with my insurance card and the woman at the front desk worked hard to help me figure it out (and she did!) and was so patient. Jas was a delight and put me at ease immediately. And Jean Marie was exceptional! She listened patiently to my neurotic ramblings, suggested that anytime one slices their finger with a mandolin that immediacy is necessary instead of the 24 hour wait that I took (I politely reminded her it was actually only 23 hours) and worked on my thumb so there would be proper healing. Two shots in my hand for numbing my thumb, manipulation and bandaging and a tetanus shot later, I was good to go. I admit, I was a pretty nervous and reluctant patient but everything about this center was great. Especially Jean Marie. If you are going to slice your thumb while preparing a meal (among any myriad of things that unfortunately bring you to a medical center) you will want a Jean Marie. Actually you will want THIS Jean Marie. She is the best!

I asked him a second time as he walk past me onto the elevator, he did not respond. I asked him a third time as he was on the elevator, he did not respond. I stepped back onto the elevator and took his picture, only after I took his picture did he lift up his mask. As I stepped off the elevator, into the lobby, and as the doors were closing he called out; "To bad they don't work". I do not care what he does within the confines of his practice, when he is in the hospital hallways and other public areas within the hospital he should be required to follow hospital policy. His actions send a message to patients, employees, and visitors that they do not have to follow hospital policy if they do not want to do so. I love how thorough my doctor is. We communicate through "My Chart" and by phone if necessary. The staff is friendly. I am happy here and with the Jefferson Health System in general. My Chart is an especially useful tool. One place to see all my information from upcoming visits, test results, profiles of my entire care team to a schedule for preventive medicine. She called to follow up telling them I've lost strength in my right arm in 4 days because my disk is pushing on my spinal cord. Their answer was to send me home with steroids which I have already been on so after being firm & calling my doctor to speak to the ER doctor called back the neosurgeon & said they would admit me. I sat in the same ER room for 6 hours had to ask for Water & ask at 9:30 if I could go to the bathroom. 10:30 my doctor came down & was surprised I haven't had pain medication in all that time. No one cared until I asked to be discharged but I could hear laughter in the hallway just outside my room. I'm sure there are more emergency's more important things to do but I have never felt so uncomfortable in a hospital in my life.

So, I made an appointment and visited Dr. Martin the following week. When I arrived, I found his staff to be extremely friendly. Dr. Martin ran some tests on me and confirmed that I do have allergies. I'm allergic to everything!!!! Following this, I began a shot regiment. Now, I feel great. My ears no longer feel that I'm 50 feet under water. And, no more sinus pressure as well. This doc knows his stuff!!! Oh, plus he is Chief of Allergy & Immunology at Lankenau Hospital with 37 years of experience. If I could offer him six stars, he surely deserves it.
