Caution!! If you report or leave a complaint...It's in your chart. They informed me I had made a report! I left this hospital in great pain more than once. I have never abused an any drug in my life. On April 12, 2026 at 3:00 pm we arrived with my 7 year old grandson and a broken arm. The staff admitted him immediately and many of the ER staff jumped in to help him! 5 nurses, 2 doctors, plus support staff! It was incredible! Came to the hospital by ambulance and of course get discharged so they can't find me a ride home first you want me to take a cab which was $60 and they want me to sit here till 7:00 in the morning so I asked him to call sooner ride it's the girl working the triage got a attitude problem about it again I'm stuck at this f****** Hospital till 7:00 in the freaking morning which is a bunch of b******* because I have three different types of insurance but nobody wants to do their f****** job this Hospital needs to be shut down I'm so God damn tired of this place I will never come here again read more

I like Mercy Hospital. I've always gotten great care there for all my needs. They take my insurance. When the ER is busy, there's going to be a long wait, but the other place here in Ardmore is 24 Emergency too. read more

I never have a good experience at this hospital, BUT thanks to Noel, Noah, Kay, and JR I got the best hospitality. I came in twice because I ended up having flu A. The first night Kay, Noel, and Noah took care of me and the second night JR helped me. Even before he left the overnight shift he walked past me telling me he hoped I felt better. Noel and Kay were the sweetest. Noah tried to make me laugh while taking me to radiology and back. there should've more care takers like them in places like these. read more

Possibly the worst hospital in Oklahoma. Seems like they get the bottom of the barrel when it comes to doctors. My daughter went in for a liver biopsy and they came back benign But the doctor said they did something wrong do they needed to do another biopsy the same radiologist did the second one but now it's come back as cancerous. Which biopsy are we to believe since the radiologist said he did everything right the first time ??we will be going to Stephenson cancer institute for a third opinion because they are so incompetent here in ardmore . I called Mercy in Ardmore,OK on Monday 8.23 because my brother who recently completed radiation treatment contract Covid. I work in the medical field so I know about the infusion and my mother had the infusion after she got Covid but we live in MS. So I ask my brother died they tell him about when he when to hospital he said no and don't think they had it in the area. So I called Mercy... I was transferred approximately 3 times and the last person I talked to said they didn't do the infusion there and I asked if they knew somewhere that did and they said at OU! This called was made a week ago 8.23. Yesterday 8.30 my brother had to go to hospital to get fluids because he can barely eat and can't keep anything down or in if he does. He still has fever and cough. I came across an article on FB and it had a website for health dept with a list of monoclonal antibodies infusion sites and low and behold Mercy in Ardmore is receiving shipment of the infusion! Do better Mercy! Try not to be God and choose who you tell about the infusion especially if they are high risk and need it! I don't know what they are telling their employees and why the are without holding this info from the citizens! The website is hhs.gov and therapeutics distribution https://arcg.is/vj9u5. Wasted my time, drove an hours for an appointment showed up on time only to be told we showed up at the wrong time even though the reminder text we received specified and exact time, and that was the exact time I arrived. Can't go back and edit after typing/proof reading my comment. Must be a yelp issue. Wouldn't recommend this hospital and also looks like yelp kind of sucks as well. read more

driving the 2 hours to oklahoma city is quicker than getting seen in the emergency room

On the 28th of September my Father and I were at the ER and while in the room waiting on X-ray, we were watching my iPad to pass the time. Needless to say we left and went home. After waking I noticed I didn't have my iPad so I called the ER and talked with Security about the iPad and was told if someone turns it in they will call me. I tried the night shift and still no iPad. On the 30th I went to the ER and talked with Security and he went through the camera footage and after 30 min found the footage of us leaving and I had no iPad. Then I guess a Nurse or Doctor said someone turned a iPad in but they were thinking it was a doctors, but I was able to unlock it. So relieved to get my iPad back, thank you very much to Officer badge number 2928 I think and the staff at mercy for being so helpful. read more

I came into the hospital hopeful that I would be seen and be taken care of. The ER doctor basically over talked when I told them that I was really sick and my throat was sore and hurting. She said it was strep. I rolled my eyes and was so aggravated. She assumed that's what it was, she has the RN swab my throat after I made a point. She came back and said well your test came back negative and you don't have strep. I asked her ok? What can be causing my synthems. She said I don't know you need to contact a professional. I said arnt You? She threw an additude and said I'm ER you need to contact a EMT. I was like wow!She walked out. We waited for registry, they never even came. Worst hospital ever. read more

We recently moved here and due to circumstances we have had to use the hospital a few times. Great staff! Very caring. If you are going through ER pray that they aren't busy/and/or the right Dr.'s are on duty/on call. At least their ER is not a busy as many major hospitals are. read more

So today I brought my mother to the ER because she was feeling very sick and had a severe cold and as we walked in , the first nurse did not greet us or made any gesture nice whatsoever. She just said sign this and gave us a look. We then head down to the ER doctor but he doesn't seem to care much. He asked my mother how much she weighed and how tall she was. That is something he didn't have to ask, it's something he had to evaluate as a procedure. We then head towards the room they give us to wait and it's not long till a nice doctor comes in to check on my mom but after he checked and left , 20 minutes later, a nurse comes by to check my mothers information and she was rude. I don't know if she was racist or just did not like morning shifts but she had a tone like she didn't want to speak to us. Shortly after that , 2 nurses come in and give my mother an antibiotic but the problem was that they didn't properly get it ready. The syringe was placed on the countertop exposed to getting dirty or contaminated and when one of the nurses dejected the antibiotic into the syringe, she literally kept pushing it back in and out like it was okay. This hospital really needs to work on it's nurses. Big time. read more

The wait is awful, I understand COVID-19 has slowed things down a bit. I have lived in the Ardmore area majority of my life and have always had SEVERAL hours in the WAITING ROOM. For an organization centered around faith you would think they would have more compassion for patients care. Beware!!! My mom recently had to be admitted to the Mercy Hospital Senior Behavioral Health unit in Ardmore, OK. We had to sit in the emergency room for over 8 hours before she was admitted. She was there to have her medications regulated. What a mess! She was discharged totally drugged and on anti-psychotic medications. Now she can't remember a thing and thinks everyone is trying to hurt her. She is acting totally crazy. She went in for anxiety. I hardly recognize her now. She was in better condition before admission than she was after she was discharged. We had to take her to a doctor to have her taken off most of the new medication that they put her on. Please do your homework if you are considering this program. read more
