I witnessed an elderly doctor literally slit the throat of a patient while trying to put a catheter in his chest, the male techs would drink liquor during work hours with the Radiology physician, a urologist came into the work room & grabbed my breasts. I quit exactly 1 year & because I left an hour before my shift was over the Personnel Dir said I couldn't get my vacation pay. Unethical, unprofessional, rude, crude & socially unacceptable personnel in ALL areas of this hospital. There's plenty of crude words that would better describe the culture there but I won't stoop to their level of everyday vocabulary. Don't work there or seek services there! Men - dont let your wives or daughters work here.

To have to experience a situation like this is horrific in its own but to have such a caring, empathetic and knowledgeable team there ready and willing at all times really helped us get through this and that was just tremendous. She requested that me and her sons dad be in the room with her because she had to stay overnight due to preeclampsia monitoring. She was very rude and unprofessional and honestly it cause her to have high anxiety because she didn't feel safe because of the type of person she was. She wasn't concerned about her health at all she told her that she is more than welcome to leave if that's what she wanted. She didn't care one bit about my grandsons life! Like I said if she would have been more caring and explain things with compassion and kindness things would have been different and she would have felt more safe. But she didn't want to leave after all because the risk of her child's safety. Well I called and spoke to a lady in OB and she said she would have the supervisor to call me. Mary returned my call and immediately was rude and automatically started defending Maggie. She said I walked up when you was arguing with my nurse: well pull the cameras because I wasn't arguing I was explaining the situation and how she has seizures and anxiety really bad. She didn't care one bit and said I can check her out and take her somewhere else. I honestly couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. I couldn't believe she was a monster. I asked her who her supervisor was and she said Markae, Heritage. I will be contacting her in the morning and explain my experience. Maybe she can pull the cameras and see for herself how unprofessional both of them was being.

The friend's mom died at home the same day she was diagnosed with anxiety/gas from a heart attack. I had 5 colonoscopies over a 2 year period b/c I couldn't use the bathroom for 20 to 30 days. They NEVER found anything! I saw a specialist and he found that my colon was twisted in 3 spots and told me a few more weeks and my colon would have died in those spots and I would be wearing a colostomy bag at 37 years old. When I got to my room there was blood on the handset of the telephone. The maids don't clean like they should and the nurses are rude as if they hate their jobs and would prefer to be somewhere else and like you are putting them out if you push your call button. Your IV may beep for 30 minutes before someone checks it. My uncle was choking and nobody came to check on him. Thank God he was able to assist himself or he would have died. If you need emergency care for chest/heart pain, or any serious injury, go to Norman Regional if at all possible.

Had to take my Mother for and wound on top of her head. Went on Friday morning and was walked right…read morein with no wait. Everyone was fantastic and so nice and pleasant to deal with. Dr. Campbell used simple terms when explaining everything to us so we understood what he was doing at all times. He also made it very easy upon discharge with clear instructions for wound checks and the importance to watch for any infections and healing. The nurse was very nice to my mother and patient which was made for a less stressful situation. We had to follow up Saturday for wound check and was given the same service as Friday with everyone being just as nice.
