I met with Dr Samec today who will now be my physician. He was familiar with my med history which put me at ease. He spent what I felt was a great deal of time talking to me and asking questions. He was so very patient with me as I shared issues about my med history I wanted him to be aware of. Dr Samec is experienced, thoughtful and caring. Working closely with Dr Samec is PA Laurie Hughell. If you are seeking treatment for osteoporosis or rheumatoid arthritis, I recommend Dr Samec and Laurie Hughell. I have trusted my care to this office for 18 years. I then called Iowa Radiology to send me a bill, and they couldn't for over a week because they only get their mail picked up twice a week--what business, especially a bill dept., only have twice-a-week mail service? Then when I received a bill, I could not pay with my HSA credit card--they only accept checks. So I went to their web site to pay the bill and I received a notice "Unable to Receive Payment"!

He was fine, and we went back it to get the one he missed, but this seems like serious negligence. Should have learned, I thought it was a fluke, but a few years later they gave my daughter a prescription for antibiotics that was stronger than an adult dose because they accidentally doubled it. We are now changing offices because we no longer trust the staff.

When I mentioned scheduling elsewhere with a female provider, I was advised that I could no longer see the provider I was scheduled with at this clinic, and would need to pay $200 for canceling my appointment that they made me cancel because I was uncomfortable. The receptionists are very rude and unprofessional. Once you mention going somewhere other than to their clinic, they treat you terrible. I would advise going LITERALLY anywhere else.

The front desk staff was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about using insurance benefits and pricing out contacts. I would 10/10 recommend this office to anyone.
