This is when I stopped and said why have I not heard about this place many many times before? I was in awww and can't believe that we stumbled upon this. No one in Yakima has even shared this spot with me. Which is fine, more for me now!! Lets go back to the pricing, the system is wild, and they have really good stuff for the prices their selling it for. They have swim, tank tops, sweaters, decorations, office supplies, I mean literally everything. I was sooo happy to have found this gem. My bestie and i walked away spending less than $100 bucks (and I got over 22 items). I also re sale items soooo some items are not for me, which I know people are going to eat UP - I scored. Between the both of is, we got five pairs of shoes. I will be taking my items to this store when I come back into town next month for another day of shopping!!! They delivered same day for free! Clearly a family run business. All employees were very friendly and helpful also. They showed and offered to email me a wholesale furniture catalog because I couldn't find a couch I liked. They also had cool gems like a treasure chest and an antique pedal sewing machine that I wish I could have bought, but have no space for. I will definitely be returning.

We spent $150 plus tax on it, took it home, hooked it up, and it only worked for a month and a half! The heating element did not work and it was 45 days after we bought it, so I couldn't take it back and get my money back after the 30 day warranty he gave us. It was pretty disappointing. That's what I get for buying a used dryer at a thrift shop. Be careful buying used appliances here!! The furniture that he sells looks nice so maybe I will stick to just furniture from now on, if I ever go back.

This place is located about halfway down Fruitvale and while it isn't much to look at from the outside, the guys and gals working here do a really nice job! Around the area, they're primarily known for fixing lawnmowers, but I found out recently they were able to fix my snowblower! Call they are often very busy, but in the middle of winter, things slow down a little. While it's not always this way, we dropped off a couple of items, and they were done within 48 hours. Very helpful with the next big snowstorm coming! They have plenty of power tools, lawnmowers, snowblowers and generators for sale here. If you ever needed to make sure your house ran only on gasoline, this would definitely be a place check out! I'm always amazed at the prices for getting things like a lawnmower checked out. I don't know how much it should cost, but it always seems a little bit on the expensive side. Here, they charge $89 an hour for general small engine work. Realistically, that's not bad as I think a plumber charges 120 per hour! They have a $44.50 minimum diagnostic charge that is credited towards the overall cost if you decide that you want to proceed. This was helpful for the non-running lawnmower I had. It ended up they just needed to change a couple parts, but it could've been very expensive and I didn't want them to just have free reign over the bank. When all is said and done, this was a very positive experience and this is the place that we will be going back to for our small engine needs!

When work takes over a month or so to get a repair a business cant make money. If you cant get machines in and out in a reasonable amount of time you are not making money. Seriously this place looks like a business that may not be there a month from now by the looks of the inside. I think their mechanical work is very good and the mechanic I spoke to really cares about what he is doing. I think they have great potential but for walking in the first time it was a bit on the interesting side to say the least.

All profits go to support the Union Gospel Mission and as it were, it's the old Union Gospel Mission that was then transitioned into a store when they outgrew the space. It flows like the bottom level of the hotel, and now we know why! The selection of stuff is pretty vast, ranging from kitchen items, clothing, plenty of trinkets and a pretty good vinyl section. As with most thrift stores there's plenty of stuff that probably won't go with your current house, but while in there I was able to find a good number of things that did actually go with ours. Of all the thrift stores in the area that I've been in, I really felt like this one was the nicest, knowing that everything goes towards a good cause probably meant I bought a few more things. This place is an absolute must check out for anyone who likes going searching for something you didn't know you needed!
