Paid a small fortune for 2 power recliners with battery backup, had a long power failure and the backup did not work. My disabled husband had to crawl and maneuver his way out with a broken leg. Batteries tested perfectly and were securely connected to both chairs, and neither backup worked. Called to get customer service and the options were to bring the battery packs in to be tested - an hour's drive with 2 disabled people making the trip, or pay $179 (plus tax) for a service call. The one year anniversary of the delivery was 1 month ago and they refused to accommodate us. I kept trying to explaIn our situation and concerns, and they kept offering only those 2 options. They could easily have a service person stop by when making a delivery to our area, but no can do. Extremely dissappointed. We need new mattresses but I will never shop there again. read more

Purchased a Flexsteel power leather loveseat recliner, and only after 2 years, the power no longer works. Mike A has attempted to contact Flexsteel and unfortunately after over a month of attempts to repair the sofa, it is still non-functional. The sofa was over $4K and we were still charged $ 350 for a service call, that didn't bring a successful conclusion. We have gone to another furniture store for our furniture needs. Perhaps, Meredith needs to re-evaluate their customer service. read more

Ask for more discount and got it t never hurts to ask like buying a house or r car. My biggest disappointment is I also bought a 325.00 lamp, spending over 1.000 dollars. Never another piece of furniture will be bought here again, we have bought years of furniture from this company, for 40 yrs of marriage, the last two pcs have not been quality of the norm for this company, they did replace the recliner we had for three months and fabric started coming apart, this last pc however we bought a loveseat recliner on Nov 5 , the reclining part of the chair would not stay back , there were many loose pieces , the seat cushion on one side was crooked and sinking, after 37 days , they would not replace the item , they said the best they could do was to repair it! After 12 days, we have not got it back yet , still in shop, paid two payments, no communication and very poor customer service, this company has been run into the ground by the younger family members that are there for one thing , to make them a buck, the original man and his wife would be appalled at the very poor business practices...... my review is Go somewhere else to buy quality and customer service that stands behind the merchandiise... read more

Bought a stressless chair from Meredith it's falling apart constantly.Paid 3500 hundred for it , total piece of junk had bought a other chair over 20 years ago great chair great service. Old chair looks and works better than the new one . Their kids seem to not care about the costumer just the cash . After three repairs on new chair this morning the foot stool fell completely apart one whole side came apart and the zipper came of in my hand , Don't buy from them run away the service is the worst store is in Yakima Washington avoid at all costs. I'm sure all get the run around have number to stressless USA going to have a talk about this store tired of running around and waiting for banded fixes .if I could give less than one star it would be nice! read more

Fair prices and fast delivery. I had just moved to Yakima from Virginia Beach and because of the cross country move didn't bring most of my furniture. I needed to buy a dinning room set and a couch. Found both of these items at Meredith. The price was fair and the quality is very good.The best part is they were able to deliver that day ! They did damage my door frame while delivering the furniture but took care of the repair in a timely manor. I would purchase from them again. read more
