RUN! Run as far and as fast away from this dreadful college. I was a student here, enrolled in the Diagnostic medical sonography course and it is set up to fail! Do not waste your time. Classes are intentionally over filled so students will struggle and drop out. There are not enough machines for students to practice on and the time given for in class scanning is about an hour a week. They make it so limited that you have to come during your off days and weekends to get sufficient time scanning. They do not tell you this before enrolling. Also, there is a clear divide between student/faculty/administration and makes learning here very stressful. Also they have a high turnover for teachers because nobody wants to stay! Computer lab is from the 80's and literally takes 30 minutes to connect to email and print anything. Wi-Fi here is non existent and has been addressed several times with no recourse. On lab nights we are forced to sit in the hallway since there are not enough tables/chairs for people to work properly so we have to sit on the floor!!! This place is a joke and most students do not get placed with employment for years after completing program so save your time and money because this place is a total money grab! read more

Worst experience ever. I was a student here for 2 months and transferred to Fashion Focus Hair Academy. I was not at all impressed. I recieved minimal education. The director of the school is extremely unprofessional and rude as well as the career coordinator. The financial aid personnel has no idea what she is doing. The owner of school is rarely around to know what is going on. Not to mention, they get minimal clientele. All of their services are very outdated along with the teaching methods. When the instructors are asked questions about new techniques or trends, they never have an answer. Often times felt as if I was teaching myself. Very unprofessional establishment overall. I frequent the salon regularly as I enjoy giving these girls (and guys) some real world experience and practice for when they graduate. I always have a pleasant experience. It does take a bit more time but that is to be expected. They want to do a good job and consult with their instructors regularly throughout the process. The students are friendly and attentive and I get great service for what I pay. read more

Don't waste your time or money at this technical school salon. My friend and I took one for the team. Feeling we would get professional services for a reduced price at a school that is training students for their life's profession. We went to have facials, pedicures and brow waxing. The students who were providing the services were clueless. There was no supervision or instructors around and it was evident there was no training or in school instructions provided on the services that they were trying to provide. My feet and polished toes looked better when I went in than when I left. The only student who knew what she was doing was the one that waxed my brows. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. The student providing my services did not know how to wax eyebrows and went frantically looking for some who knew how to. As a retired University administrator this school should be closed. The nail room was poorly stocked and the students did not know the first thing about giving a pedicure. They were literally reading an instruction sheet for each service provided. There customer service skills leave a lot to be desired. They were too busy getting there chat on with their friends or worrying about who was texting them. I am all for giving students a chance to show you what they have learned but these girls must cut school everyday because after being in the program for 6 to 9 months they know nothing. So if you are entertaining going here, DON'T pay the full price at a real salon. This school should be CLOSED. My friend and I had a good laugh on the ride home. This will make for good conversation at the pool tomorrow. read more

Don't waste your time or your money. I was recommend by one of the students here to go try this out and I'm so sorry I did. The girl who was SUPPOSED to have given me a FULL highlight did no such thing. She had no clue what she was doing and I was promised that there would be close supervision during the process. I was there for 3.5 hrs and left with barely any highlights in my hair $70 later. I have tried to reverse the charges but was unsuccessful because they clearly lied to the CC company. I fear for the students who are trying to learn from this so called hair school. Again, beware, don't waste your time you will only be pissed off and disappointed! read more
