Her first real salon experience and she and I both had a wolf cut (shaggy 70s layers) and crisel DELIVERED. My daughter was really nervous and she was so in love and happy by the end. She matched my hair color perfectly and gave me an awesome style. I was very comfortable in Julie's care. The salon was stylish and created a pleasant atmosphere. I had the most AMAZING experience at Musart Salon with Melinda! My hair has never turned out so good, I got a partial highlight with toner and it turned out so beautiful! She really took her time and made me feel very welcome in the salon as it was my first time visiting. The front desk girls were very nice and I even got a complimentary lavender mimosa which was sooo delicious! They were so patient with my hair as it knots up like crazy after washing! I could tell from the second we started talking he would cut my hair exactly right and that he did! Excellent cut on my fine, thin, natural long hair. I am amazed at how quickly she has given me my beautiful hair back with all the lovely blondes/brown dimensions, and how healthy my hair is, considering how difficult it is to maintain all-over highlights & lowlights without damaging the hair! I highly recommend Emily - She is a master of her trade, and has a good eye for color, depth, dimension. For someone with long hair (and a lot of hair), I am SO relieved to have found her. Excellent! I had Jill as a stylist but I must say that the front desk was also warm , friendly and helpful. Jill listened as I have an allergy to dye and have been burned in the past. She didn't think she could safely mix my product with theirs but made a plan how to reduce the reactions with their dye . It worked! In addition she did a lovely cut. Overall, a great experience and one more 5 star review for Jill and all the staff with whom I interacted both on several phone calls and in person. read more

After 11 months of rocking the same haircut and eventually only wearing it in a ponytail or bun, I knew it was time to get it cut. I called Musart Salon and they were able to fit me in same day. I chose this place because it was close to my house. When I arrived I was surprised as I was used to seeing another salon name there. This is a new salon under new ownership. I talked to my stylist Maddie who came from Fresh Salon. She said a group of them came from that salon and moved here. When I walked in the place was really clean. There was about 6-8 booths, 3 tubs, and one private room that may be used for massages or waxes. It was a bit busy on this Wednesday afternoon. I was not greeted right away so instead of awkwardly standing at the front desk I sat in a chair until someone greeted me. After being greeted I was offered a beverage and taken to my chair right away. I declined the beverage but Maddie mentioned they champagne and the like available. Maddie was wonderful - she was friendly. We were able to talk about the latest shows on Netflix. The cut itself was what I was looking for. All I wanted was to trim all the dead stuff off and give it some layers. After the cut she blow dried it with a round brush so I could see the layers. Then she offered to add some curls which I loved! This place is close to home and offered good service with friendly stylists. Price was on par with other salons in Sarasota. I scheduled another appointment and will be returning. read more

Needed a haircut and color so when I saw a lady at Aldi with hair similar to mine (short and curly) with a nice haircut I asked her where she went. She sung the praises of Kathy at Beyond Reflection. I had a bad experience at a previous salon where no one wore face masks, but supermarket lady said that everyone wore them there. She was right. Kathy took lots of time discussing my cut and color and then did a great job with both. She was super nice as was everyone else there. I will be back! read more

They did a fine job on my hair, but it was nothing special, and for $95 for a simple haircut, that seems very overpriced.

This place is beyond unprofessional. I had my first consultation with Emily and they made me wait almost an hour. Emily was nice and kind. I had a bad first experience but decided to give this place a chance. I booked my appointment with her, they bugged me to pay a deposit sending me multiple links in order to hold my service. It gets worse, so today was my first visit, and an hour prior to my appointment they cancelled my appointment after they took my deposit this week. I'm not one to complain but this place needs to step up with costumer service . If you cancelled my service you have to automatically refund back my deposit without me having to ask for it. I will take my business somewhere that I can get valued as a client. Will never be back here ever. read more

FIrst, ALL of the staff is fabulous!! They make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Its decorated nicely and very clean. I called and explanined what I was looking for in a cut and they told me Jill would be the stylist for me and she is!! Jill is so very talented! She is patient, kind, warm and so professional. The quality of the location and atmosphere is paired by their solicitude and drive to deliver a memorable experience in what I call a "get and go" environment. To often in the past I had attempted to find a "home" salon/ barber but ran into the same issues: miscommunication, bad service, or unwelcoming disposition. At beyond Reflection Salon however the stylist and employees carry themselves with intrepid outlook and attentiveness for every person who comes through their doors. Their savvy point of view is what kept me in the seat all the way to the end and then even after the cut, but it's the look they achieved with my hair that kept me coming back. After years of trying to find someone that could cut my naturally curly hair, my hunt is finally over!!! I had my first hair cut at this salon a couple of days ago and I am so pleased with it! The staff at this salon are absolutely wonderful, they are so sweet and kind and really want your hair to look it's best. The owner, Stephanie, is very involved and walks around to talk to the clients, it's such a nice touch, she really cares about the clients in the salon and wants to make sure they are having a great experience. They also work with you to help you find the best products for your hair type without ever being pushy. The talent here is amazing too! I had the pleasure of having Taylor cut my hair and for the first time in literally YEARS, I didn't have to go home and wash my hair immediately after having it "done" to look presentable. She made it look better than I do! It even looked great the following day after being slept on! I am a huge fan of Beyond Reflections and am looking forward to my next haircut here.
