I had a terrible experience with this business. I stopped in to see about getting repair work done on my tractor mower. They said they would contact me with a date and time to pick it up. I received a call the next day and was informed someone would be out the following day between 8 and 10am to pick up. No one ever showed up between those hours and no one called to let me know when they would arrive. I called them and asked for Mika (not sure of name spelling) who was the person I dealt with earlier. He said he would find out what was going on and call me back. I had to call him again twice and he said both times he couldn't hear me on the phone and hung up on me. When someone finally showed up around 1:30pm that person said the paperwork had been lost. I don't know how they could have found my house if they lost the paperwork! And why didn't I ever receive any follow up phone calls from them? I'm 86 years old, handicapped with spinal stenosis and have multiple health problems, including partial blindness and heart failure. Is this how they treat senior citizens who are handicapped and depend on people to do the right thing? Jim W. read more

Horrible service. Took in my John Deere for a spring checkup - charged $1500+. Nice at that point. Promised a delivery but was two weeks later. Second time I used my mower, the belt broke and they would not replace it without charging me. They claimed that I broke it but I didn't even get to mow my lawn but one time after service. I will never go back there again. Now go to Buck Bros - much better service there! read more

We have used Meridian Implement for years to service our two John Deere lawn tractors. Their service has always been fair and reasonable. They do great work with all the maintenance and repairs we have needed. I do not expect that they will drop off my machines 30 minutes after I call. It may take a day or two to fit their scheduling. Expectations require common sense. They serve a wide area with lots of customers. But we have always received pick up or delivery in a reasonable time and the driver, Ed, is great and very helpful. We use Meridian exclusively because they have always been dependably good to us. read more

Beware, ALWAYS get a not to exceed bid in writing. Trainee working on equip bill was 4 times the labor estimate. Repairs exceeded purchase amount of machine. There is a new implement dealer in Rockford save your money and go to new dealer. It is easy now to understand why John Deere dropped Meridian. read more
