I can't believe how many times I've passed it without knowing how good of a store it is. Grand Wig House is reminiscent of various "trading co" stores, but with tons of wigs, more clothes, more accessories, and more more more of everything. It's easily twice the size of those stores and the prices seem to be better. I could easily spend lots of time and $ here regularly. I bought a beautiful red cloche for $20, some black satin gloves for about $11, and a barrette for maybe $3. Unique purchases at bargain prices are what you'll get at Grand Wig House.

I had been to several beauty supply and discount stores hunting for a particular magnetic roller and brand named setting lotion. Images had everything I needed! The manager greeted me with a hello. A sales clerk offered me their current sales ad and helped me with pricing. Upon checkout, the manager enrolled me in their customer loyalty program. He asked if that was my first time visiting and thanked me for my purchase and for coming in. I WILL be coming back.

Since my teenage years, and through my stages of braid styles, I always purchased my braiding hair from Wig Imports. The owner, Ms. Jo, was always nice and helpful, and her prices were always reasonable. She carried only high quality hair that would last my micro-braids several months. She used to be located on the corner of Delmar & Skinker, in the Delmar Loop, but has since moved to this location in Overland. Fast forward over 20 years, and my DD is getting the same braids that I got at her age. I took her to Wig Imports and was happy to find the same awesome and kind Jo there to assist. She gave advice on the type of hair that would be best for the braids that DD wanted. She still has a large selection of hair in different lengths and colors. If you need a wig, she has an enormous selection of wigs and she'll make custom wigs too! I love Ms. Jo, and the St. Louis community is lucky to have her!

Don't have any pictures, but was down here replacing parking lot lights and decided to check out…read morethe store. Parking lot was empty besides our two cars and 1-2 customers coming and going from a single row of spots. Owner asked what I was looking for and started talking about how this stuff is only for women. Eventually asked me why I parked the way I did horizontal to the parking spots in the middle row. I couldn't explain that I was trying to a.) keep people from parking in spots right under the light pole in case the lights were to fall and b.) to see the electrical truck to protect it from theft and ensure my guy didn't have any issues while up there. The dude in the store just kept going off like he had nothing better to do than yell at someone who would've been a paying customer. I just left and didn't move my car because honestly there's a better way to handle that and you're not going to speak to me however you feel like. Especially when I'm not blocking anyone or causing any harm to anyone while trying to work and protect your customers from harm.
