Dr. Slack immediately fit me into his schedule and explained three different options, including the pros and cons of each option, to correct the disfigurement. After choosing the best option for me, he performed the specialized reconstruction. The outcome was amazing and despite being only weeks out from the surgery, the appearance of my skin is truly remarkable. When staff act this way consistently usually the root cause is leadership. Additionally, when you need to test product the lighting in the store is very poor making it challenging to see how the product looks on you. Couple that with many staff not motivated to help and you create a situation where customers either are not set up to purchase or end up purchasing poorly matched, causing a need for returns. Thus adding to the cycle of employee grievance. After my most recent similar experience I went immediately across town to Ulta, got friendly help, and a purchase that I needed. While I want to rate three stars because at least of the certain products I can only get at Sephora, I have easy access to. I feel inclined to rate lower for poor staff behavior, unwilling to help, poor lighting, and their wierd policy they won't match foundation without giving them your phone number. That violates data privacy to withhold services in exchange for private information.

I had an appt and still waited 30 mins for my stylist. It was my first time there because I go to another Ulta stylist in another state, but my hair had grown out too much. I had a stylist assigned with the initials MM, I won't put her full name out there, because she did me WRONG! She yanked the hell out of my hair. I kept telling her it hurt, and she'd spray more alcohol in it without letting it soak, and yanked it some more. I told her before she started that my scalp is super sensitive and 45 minutes for a root touch up is way too long to sit to process. No acknowledgement. Then, she left my color in for almost an hour while she washed, dried and styled some other employee's hair. When she blowed out my hair she put in volume mousse with alcohol in it before taping my extensions back in. Once my hair was dried I told her where the placement normally is and not to be too high, especially since I wear glasses sometimes. She did Her, not what I asked, and went at it. My extensions were literally sitting on the top right and left sides of my head between the crown and my temple. Ugh. It was impossible to hide them if a hair fell out of place. When I got back to my regular stylist she was like that lady in Texas did you duurrttyy, the placement was soooo bad. She couldn't stop laughing. I had paid $200 and had them removed 10 days later. PS. One had already fallen out on day 3 when I washed my hair. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! Maybe extensions aren't her thing and she only had the in house 1 week training and follow up. I could've placed them just as poorly myself without having to had spent money moving up four sandwiches. It wasn't an intense install. My hair is cut to my shoulders. Just needed to put few pieces in because I don't bleach my hair for highlights. Never again. Drive to the Ulta in Frisco near Stonebriar. Their extension girl there yanks your hair out too, but at least she knows what she's doing.

Buff City Soap is a national brand that is similar to Lush, but a little more reasonable price-wise, but there are less options. The bar soap sample I received smelled amazing left my hands a bit dry. I did end up buying a few bath bombs as gifts. Some bath bombs contain titanium dioxide (and although not proven to cause serious health risks, I try to avoid those) like the ones in Lush, but there are others that do not contain any which is nice! I tried a lavender scented body butter, and it smelled amazing, and left my skin nicely moisturized. It does tend to get a little greasy, so I usually just use this at night after a shower/before bed. The staff here are kind, and willing to help you choose the right product for you!

I finally got to the point where I was ready to set a date for the surgery. I had a face lift and a chin implant and I could not be more pleased with the results. Dr. Pollock is such a professional and his staff is amazing! Once you set a date, they put everything in place for you. They made the payment process and instructions very easy for me. The day of the surgery, Dr. Pollock met me at the surgery center to go over the final game plan. It was a smooth process once I got there and all went very well. This is a major surgery, so recovering takes time and work. It takes a lot of time for the swelling to go down and the feeling to return to my face and cheeks.
