I used to love coming here and I didn't wanna write this review but after today I'm over it. I had left a positive review for this place 2 years ago and it's changed drastically. I don't know if it's due to new management or what... My bf around Christmas time had bought me a 100$ gift-card because he knows I love to shop here. The nice lady wanted to put together a little goody bag with the gift-card in it. The manager scolded her for doing so! And told my bf he had to write a positive review on yelp and show it to her in order to get the goody bag! He did not once ask for any freebies it was done out of the employees kindness! Some of them are rude and just not helpful at all. I have gone in twice to shop the sale and right now they are doing a scratch off promotion. They pick and choose who they give the scratch offs to! I had asked last time I was there about them and the lady said I had to purchase something for full price to get one! That is ridiculous...my friend shops there frequently and they give her a scratch off every single time she walks through the door. You do not have to buy something to get a stupid scratch off. You do have to buy something to redeem it and the 6 for 60 doesn't count. Which is fine. However when I asked if I could buy something for 5 bucks the lady said that didn't count. I know for a fact that's not true. So I went and bought two little hair care items. They still didn't give me the scratch off! I went in today and they didn't give anyone a scratch off. I saw one lady get one and an employee redeeming a scratch off. I didn't even bother asking despite seeing two huge stacks of them behind the register. They pick and choose who they give them to. They expire on the 15th of this month so what's the point in not giving them out? Isn't the point to drive business for people to buy things? I called to ask if I could put something on hold they told me no. However months ago I was able to put something on hold before. It's just ridiculous. This used to be my happy place and my favorite place to shop but I'm over it. I don't like to write negative reviews and there are a couple nice and helpful employees but my last couple times have been crappy. I was just recently in the store and will never ever go back again. Not only do they sell old products that are damaged, Angeles, the rude and completely incompetent store manager won't honor the store policy even if you open the box of lipstick in front of her. She refused to let me check them until she had my money and then claimed these weren't damaged when I opened them in front of her at the register. ALL of the makeup I bought is completely dry and not usable. After she yelled at me and embarrassed me in front of other customers when all I asked was to switch them out for the EXACT SAME PRODUCT, I left with 8 brand new and completely unusable lipsticks. Such a painful waste of money, like the pain in the ass employee that I had to deal with. Buyers beware, her and her store have been reported to Estée Lauder and the better business bureau for selling expired products. So next time you shop, definitely check before you buy regardless of what Angeles says or how she treats you. read more

I have heard about this cosmetic outlet for a long time and actually thought there was no way it could be true. Yesterday I finally took my first visit to the cosmetic outlet and was a little in shock. After being a makeup artist for over 13 years it's pretty unheard of to get department store cosmetics at a discount but this place carries all Estée Lauder owned products only. Keep in mind the Estée Lauder products they carry are "classic" items that have been around for years or gifts sets from the previous year. For instance they have Double Wear Estée Lauder foundation that normal retails for around $37, here you can get it for $23.50. Absolutely a great deal! They also carry Bubble and Bubble, Smashbox, Mac, Clinique, Prescriptives, Bobbie Brown, just to name a few. I was able to snag some Smasbox Photofinish in a mini bottle for $7, normally retails for $15. Since the department cosmetics are already deeply discounted don't expect any "sales." During Black Friday, the biggest discount they have was 10% off, still not bad. Also try to remember that since this is an outlet, they don't sample items out, I would recommend already making your list of items you want before you go. This place is awesome to get gift sets and classic makeup items that have been around for a long time. Definitely check it out!! read more

I used to love coming here and considered it my hidden gem to find discounted Estée Lauder products. During my last visit this past Saturday, I quickly realized that this location is ONLY for the discounted products and not for the customer service. There were two employees that appeared to be straightening and stocking shelves in the middle of the day on a very busy Saturday, and not once did I hear them greet any of the customers that entered their establishment. Not only did they not greet any customers, they also didn't ask any of the customers if they needed assistance with anything. Unfortunately for them my experience was a far cry from the extremely warm and welcome reception I received when entering the Bare +Beauty story that is a few stores down. Not only do they have a wide array of Bare Minerals products, but they also have NARS, Shisedo, Laura Mercier, and Dolce & Gabbana. read more

I visited this store with some reservation and was a little nervous because of past reviews about horrible customer service; but I had nothing to fear. All the staff I met there on Sunday afternoon were fantastic. I was shocked when Ging-I can't remember his name, walked up to me and asked if he could help me with anything. I wasnt expecting that because past reviews said never to ask for help. He confirmed that it was so with past management but the company now has a nee crew. Now, I will admit it is hit or miss. They carry discontinued products with a 50% off price tag. So, some of the products I want or the color I need may not be in. If you can read all of this, you will know what i mean by WORST place ever. If there is negative star i would give it to them. I went into this store to return lipsticks that i bought for my sisters. I lost my receipt and i also told them "if i cannot return it without a receipt, it is totally fine" before they even say whether they would let me return it or not. One of the sales person told me I can't without a receipt and put down my stuffs to call one other person from the back to come up. They both gave me the nastiest attitude and tell me if I pick something out today and do exchange, otherwise they can't do anything. I was fine with it and walk around the store to pick out things i wanted, that same first sales person checked out my lipsticks and literally THROWING the lipsticks on the counter and look at me like I'm about to steal something. After i picked out i want some eyeshadows from the samples that is not on the shelf i asked her if she could get it, she told me "bring it (the sample) here", and i was standing and wait for check out, she throw my stuffs up and down like it is not something that fragile. Before she ring me up, she asked me "you're not gonna bring it back right?" Like seriously? You asked a customer that? By the way, the WORST customer service ever. read more

I will NEVER shop here again. They are not sincere nor understanding. I bought the bb-gel moisturizer by Clinique because I was recommended that it would work with my skin tone. It's supposed to blend into my skin. And it surely did not, I looked like a ghost and obviously it is not meant for African American or anyone with melatonin. And it said it was final sale unless it was defective and it surely was defective because it only works with Caucasian people. I went back to the store to try to EXCHANGE it, did not need my money back, just needed a product that matched my skin tone. The associate that recommended it to me acted like she didn't help me THAN tried to claim she tested it on me before buying and she did not because she said it was brand new so we couldn't open it. Than the manager or store manager not sure which one but he was a manager said it's final sale unless it's defective and I told him it is defective it does not work with African Americans and I just need an exchange for someone that matches my skin tone. Workers here are rude, lazy, and very unhelpful. The worker also wouldn't let me return a unused product that I purchased a few days ago WITH a receipt, & she also gave my mom and I attitude.
