This meant that we worked closely with the Stardust team for 2 whole years, and they kept us organized (but most importantly calm) throughout the entire process. She called you again around noon today, which you answered and said to stop by around 6PM to pick up the bouquet. We texted you again around 7PM after waiting. I will never forget how the hope and light on my wife's face faded to disappointment in the spam of a minute or so. You forgot, and claimed that because you have so much other Thanksgiving business to handle, you have to leave town and will not be stopping by. The flowers have started to wilt since last week. We waited by your request and now my wife will not have her wedding bouquet preserved. Disappointment and disrespect don't even begin to describe what you've managed to achieve. After the wedding it took days to get a real response they offered a partial refund but I said we deserved a full refund which they agreed. I booked DJ Smooth B for our wedding, adding the Cold Sparks and Dancing on a Cloud to our package. The IG page for the company showed a DJ who shows up looking fantastic and gets a party going. What I got was NOT DJ Smooth B, but someone else entirely. Dressed casual for my formal event, announced us incorrectly- even mispronouncing my name twice, did not play the correct music for cocktail hour, did not know the songs to play for specific things like the cake cutting, didn't announce a single thing- including the toast and cake cutting. To top it all off, there was NO Dancing on a Cloud or Cold Sparks. The DJ had absolutely no idea that we were supposed to have those things, and he couldn't get a hold of anyone to tell him why it was missing. I never heard from Any Event regarding what was missing. I had to call them about it the next day. I was told the guy who had the effects was in a car accident on the way to my wedding and that's why we didn't get the effects. Later that week, after numerous calls and emails with no response, Brodrick answered and told me the guy died, and he was dealing with that and would refund me eventually. It never happened. It has been over a year now with zero refund and nothing but lies and lies and more lies from both Brodrick and his assistant. My wedding was beautiful without the DJ fiasco, but it was definitely not what it could have been. I would NEVER hire this company again. I would suggest you use your own playlist on your phone before giving them the time of day.

Picking a wedding photographer is the one thing that really stressed me out during the planning…read moreprocess. Photographers are expensive, and I had a budget to stick to, but a good photographer is one of the most important parts of the day. I talked to a bunch at the Dallas Bridal Show. The ones I really liked were way out of my price range, the ones I liked within my price range were all booked up or I just didn't mesh with and couldn't see myself working with, and the ones I could afford clearly weren't the best photographers. I was at a loss of what to do. Then I found Convey Studios. They were in my price range, and I loved the photos I saw, but to be honest, I wasn't sold at first. I reached out to Sesha who is such a joy to work with, and I liked her immediately. She explained to me that she has a number of photographers that work for her, and I would be using one of them if I chose to go with her. She let me know who was available on my wedding date, told me to look at their portfolios and pick out who I liked, and then we would meet up for a drink to discuss everything. I chose a few that I liked, but I have to say I was a little leery about it. I wanted to meet the photographer I would be working with. I feel like you have to get along with them otherwise they can really ruin your day. I actually just experienced this while in another bride's wedding. She didn't get to meet the photographer and the lady was awful and the bride was miserable. Going into the meeting, I of course was still unsure, and then I met Sesha. All my worries disappeared because she is in fact amazing. We sat and talked for a good hour. She got to know me and my husband as well as tried to understand the vision we had for our wedding day to the best that she could. She frantically took notes, asked a ton of questions that I never could have thought of to help her better understand, and then she told us that while the photographers I had initially chosen would be great she thought we would be a better fit with Copeland. I loved that she did that, and she made a great call. A tiny part of me was still a very little bit concerned that I wouldn't get to meet Copeland until our engagement shoot, but Sesha made me feel so good about the whole thing that I tossed that worry aside. Copeland ended up being fantastic. He was great to work with for the engagement shoot and the wedding day. After engagement pictures I was 100% confident in him for the wedding, and he was super easy to get along with, which made the day much less stressful. He called me the day before the wedding to go over everything, which was really great. He had no problem listening to what I wanted or didn't want and wasn't pushy about anything. Sesha put together a perfect timeline of pictures for the day, and everything went perfectly. He got so many great pictures. The best part is that he loves to be on the dance floor, and he gets this awesome array of candid shots of everybody. These are some of the best pictures. He also got some really nice ones of couples, friends, and families. And he made sure to check in with me about 15 minutes before he was scheduled to leave to see if there was anything else I wanted to make sure he got. Such great customer service. Once the night was over Copeland sent all the pictures to Sesha for editing. She does a great job by the way. We got a sneak peak of pictures about 2 weeks after the wedding, and then probably 3 days later we got all the pictures. I believe she guarantees them around 3 weeks. I thought for sure we would get them later because the timeline fell over Thanksgiving, but she exceeded our expectations and got them to us early! Such a great surprise. And we got so many pictures. 500+ with full print release. All of them are phenomenal, and I've received so many compliments on how beautiful they are. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. And while you have the right to print your photos however you want, Sesha offers really great prices to print them with a lab. I was stunned to see how reasonable they are. Don't stress yourself out looking for a photographer. Talk to Sesha (she's also a wonderful photographer), and if she's not available she'll hook you up with the best photographer for you. Seriously. Stop shopping around and set up a meeting with her. You won't regret it.

From the moment that I saw Sesha's website, I fell in love with her style and knew that I wanted her as my photographer. She, and Convey as a whole, were more than a wedding vendor; they were my friends during my wedding season. Although the months leading up to the wedding were stressful, I knew that of all my vendors, Sesha was the one person who would come through on the big day and she proved me right in the end. Sesha, Diego, and Matt were so easy to work with and were very flexible with last minute changes on the day of our wedding. Their calm, reassuring, and positive attitudes were a huge benefit to us, especially for a stressed out bride like myself.
