When I communicated a certain genre to DJ Mike, he would laugh at me and say, "I get it, I get it. You like country". Yes, we are country music fans. I had numerous conversations via phone calls and emails about what I had expected for my wedding. I communicated everything very clearly, with timelines, song times, certain songs, ect. I even typed up the songs with times of when to start them. I had a certain song I wanted played right after we said "I do", and Mike was fully aware of what was expected before, during and after my ceremony. We were absolutely humiliated when after we said "I do", our song did not play so we had to awkwardly walk down the isle to no music. DJ Mike sprinted outside the doors after we had already made it down the isle. We were so embarrassed, that I went into my bridal suite and cried. I had also communicated what was expected during the reception. I told him requests were allowed. I had multiple friend and family members request songs that he would not play. I had also requested prior to the day, certain songs to be played, that he did not play. He played several songs multiple times, including an annoying Miley Cyrus song that people were sick of hearing. We heard that specific song 3 times that night. You only get married once (for some anyways), and you want that special night to be perfect and go a specific way, especially when you've been planning and creating that evening for years. I wouldn't wish the humiliation that I felt yesterday on anybody. For as long as we're alive, we will never forget the embarrassment we felt up there at that altar. DJ Mike took our special moment from us and we will never get it back. It was completely ruined because of him.

We got Premiere Photobooth for our wedding and had a very positive experience working with them. We…read morecontacted them rather early and were able to negotiate a pretty good deal with them, compared to other vendors of the same caliber. Everyone at Premiere was responsive to emails and it was a pleasure to work with them. The set up and break down were smooth and the booth itself looked very slick. You can definitely fit 5 people in there comfortably. Above that, you gotta be creative =) Their props selections were also pretty extensive, something worth mentioning. They have different props for different occasions but they had things way cooler than the mundane mustache and glasses. We've used many other photobooths at other weddings and parties but Premiere had the best props hands down. As far as we know, there weren't any hiccups during the whole event and our guests loved it. Print quality was high and fast as well. Most vendors only print 2 strips but they allowed us to print as many as we want, so that each guest can take one home. This was great b/c we opted for the scrapbook option. At the end of the ceremony, we had a complete scrapbook with photos of our guests along with their messages. What a priceless keepsake for us! We still read through them once in a while! All the photos will be mailed to you later on in a CD. If you're looking for a photobooth vendor, definitely give Premiere a look!

You can customize the logo and layout of the photostrips, and your guests receive two copies. They even have an option for the an assistant to take the duplicate copy and put them in a scrapbook! (We didn't do this, but I wish we had!) They provided all of the props, and had two wonderful assistants. I also love that we are able to look at and download all of the pictures online!

When I first walked in I was greeted by the receptionist we chatted briefly about the upcoming dance lesson and then she gave me a form to fill out. She also offer me a glass of wine or a bottle of water which was nice. The ballroom has a large dance floor with a seating area off to the side. There is a short red carpet leading up to a portion of the seating area as well. In the corner there is a stage complete with curtain string lights. There is also a larger lounge seating area on the other side of the dance floor, however you must be on the dance floor to see it or you can access it from the outside via the first entrance; the second entrance is where the receptionist is located and is where I entered for my dance lesson. After completing the form a gentleman came over and followed up with me about my responses to the questions on the form and explained more about what to expect during and after my lesson. He also informed me that my instructor would be Fred, who is owner of the studio and who also has years of dancing experience. After a few minutes, Fred came over and introduced himself to me. During the lesson he explained everything clearly and gave me background information on the dances we were doing. He was patient and upbeat which made me feel less nervous about stepping on his feet. The time flew by, the lesson was fun and I look forward to returning for my next lesson! Currently, they are offering an introductory package that includes 3 half hour private lessons, one group lesson and one dance party for $45 per person/couple.

From the outset, communication was difficult -- responses were curt and at times, unnecessarily harsh. Rather than collaborating smoothly, I often felt dismissed or talked down to when trying to confirm details or clarify the couple's preferences. Planning a wedding involves a lot of moving parts, and it's essential for all vendors to be team players. Unfortunately, he did not demonstrate flexibility or professionalism on the day of the event. The tone throughout our interactions was abrasive, and it added unnecessary stress to an otherwise joyful occasion. While he did do a good job getting the party started once the traditional moments were complete (except a little cheesy at times), I cannot recommend him based on my experience. A good vendor is not only skilled in their craft, but also courteous and cooperative -- qualities that were noticeably lacking in this case. I would strongly encourage Traviste to be more self-aware and mindful of how he communicates and presents himself to others in a professional setting. Refrain from cutting people off, telling them to move out of his way, speaking harshly and rudely to me and even guests that requested songs.
