The first project was painting the house exterior. I don't have anything negative to say about this…read moreproject at this point in time. The second project was repairing an existing deck. Although the deck looks good, it is a nightmare underneath it. This contractor never spoke with local zoning nor did he have the required inspections done as he was progressing. When zoning did their inspection at the end of the project, there were many, many issues starting with the footers not being 42" in depth. And because the issues start with the footers, it is most likely going to end with a rebuild of this deck. I am beyond disappointed with this contractor. He is not willing to stand behind his work and fix the issues that he created. Perhaps his price was fair, but not so much with having to rebuild the same deck and he charged me thousands in extra charges at the end. It pains me to write such a bad review, but I don't want to see this happen to anybody else. Contractors like this should not be allowed to prey on innocent consumers.

He was very detailed in the execution of his work including the plaster application and painting, ensuring they were both performed to high standards. Drywall repair takes time to dry in between layers and we were able to work it around schedules to keep things flexible. Overall price was a great deal for the work done. RJ was very enjoyable to work with, he is friendly and committed to his craft and I would happily hire him again for other work around my 150 year old house.
