During the pandemic, Sunshine was quick to recognize the threat and react accordingly, but also quick to work with the state to reopen safely. I have heard from so many parents about their care center that took a huge cash deposit and suddenly closed for good with no refunds, or that operate extremely short hours each day. Sunshine's hours allow working parents to comfortably balance career and family. Our child loves to go to Sunshine, and is always bringing home something new that he learned. I can't say enough good things. Thank you, Sunshine!

The administrators went above and beyond during the COVID shutdown with communication and flexibility. Their policies are all transparent and fair, and since my daughter has been back, she's regaining her Mandarin vocab and is healthy as a horse - hasn't had so much as a runny nose! We are planning to stay until she goes to elementary school and send our infant son when he gets a bit older.

Our two-year-old daughter wakes up every day asking if she can go play at Monique's house. We really appreciate the open concept and independent learning that's encouraged at One Childhood- plus the outdoor space (including hobbit hole! and water tables) is hard to beat. The hours are great (7:30-5:30) and Monique and Howie are super flexible. Did I mention they have a chameleon the kids love? Monique and Howie also run a myriad of cultural activities for every holiday ranging from Christmas to Day of the Dead and Dwali. I'd be remiss if I didn't comment on the FOOD- it's unbelievable. I review the menus daily and while it all sounds good on paper, it looks and smells AMAZING! If you're considering sending your child here, I'd encourage you to pull the trigger- you won't regret it!

He took to Monique and Howie right away. When he first started going here he was still in diapers and when we were ready to potty train Monique was right on board and we were in undies in no time! I love that all of the meals are freshly prepared, lots of fruits and veggies. When my first started he was a picky 2 year old with limited foods he would eat. Once I changed up the meal time routine at home Monique followed suit at school and now he eats so many foods and things he would never touch before. I love that she sends pictures and daily/weekly updates on how he is doing. They do lots of outdoor play and do awesome field trips like the museum of science and even the beach! I plan to have my son here until he transitions to either preschool or kindergarten. I only wish I had found this daycare sooner!! All photos I attached are photos of my son at One Childhood ELC and some of the fun activities they do.

The babies are well cared for and receive positive stimulation between music, fun toys, books and just interactions! Plus, we are at ease knowing we can check on our baby throughout the day both on the app and on the live stream. Also, the communication to and from management has been great. They are proactive in offering timely and helpful updates and responsive to any questions or concerns we have. This day care truly "cares". Recommend!

Unlike other daycare which gives at least 24 hours notice. They decide to avoid any conversation with parents in person and just shot out an email after all parents leave with their children. Closing of the center to prevent community spread is understandable. However, the Center still demand parents to pay for the full tuition which is over 100 dollar a day while it remains closed is not very reasonable. In a time like this, school employees still need to get paid and the money comes from either the owner of the facilities or all the parents, but I wonder if they are getting their full-salary while parents paying full tuition or they are only getting paid on a discounted rate because that would be a shame.
