I did not see the message until 8 am and she was scheduled to arrive between 8:30 and 9 am. Needless to say, I was not able to get my apartment cleaned before my surgery. Awful! Unable to communicate our specific needs to Ashley, the owner. They cleaned three times…read moreand after each cleaning I spoke to Ashley about what I felt were problems with the result. The first time they cleaned Ashley was part of the cleaning team and things seemed to go well. They were here a little over an hour. The second time...no Ashley and they were gone in under an hour. This week...a whopping 45 minutes. Mind you we have 3 full baths, 3 bedrooms, a great room, living room, dining room, laundry room, sun porch, office...45 minutes?!!! Really? They charge by the job; not by the hour so the the faster they get a job done...the more money they can make. I told Ashley that I'd rather pay for more time if they would do a more thorough job. So if all you want is "light" cleaning...these are your people. If you need anything more than light dusting, vacuuming, etc....look elsewhere. I spent more time cleaning up after the cleaners then they spent cleaning. They also refuse to give a scheduled time when they will arrive. Twice they caught us early in the morning and bee-lined for the bathrooms preventing us from even being able to brush our teeth! During my initial conversation with Ashley I made it clear that I was interested in "deep-cleaning" not routine over the top stuff. I cleaned houses myself for 15 years and have a family member who owns a professional cleaning service. I KNOW what services can and cannot be expected by cleaning companies. Ashley assured me they could and would surpass my expectations. Not! Duties are divided between the cleaning team. One does bathrooms, one does the kitchen and the poor third person does EVERYTHING else! They do not work as a team. It's no wonder that things...LOTS of things get missed. Ashley's employees were really sweet people for the most part...just seemed to have a very inefficient approach to housecleaning and communication with the client. What really boggled my mind was that Ashley was part of the team that cleaned the first time. She was awesome...she cleaned my floors on her hands and knees! Scrubbed the baseboards and cleaned anything she saw that needed attention. Absent Ashley and there's no-telling what will happen. My recommendation is no recommendation at all.

Anyway, we had a serious 4th of July last minute issue with our Lake Geneva WI rental. Prior renters had left melted milk duds, chocolate milk, you name it all over 3 couches, carpeting, they went to town. I had 48 hours before our next renters "stumbled" upon Artistic Cleaners. They were flat out booked but unlike various others including one large outfit I won't mention, they offered "to squeeze you in before renters arrive July 3, 2015. Keep in mind I called Artistic on July 1 in a panic. They showed up at 4 PM July 2nd 2015 and the gentleman on site called, walked me through everything he would clean and quoted a price right on the spot. They spent hours that evening and left. July 3rd at 8 AM I had a friend go check their work. He said and I quote "Not sure who these people are, but they performed magic buddy and you better keep the close at hand". I called, Emailed, and annoyed these people for 48 hours, desperate to be sure they showed up. They not only tolerated my panic, but performed beyond my expectations. They also "SPOT CLEANED" where possible rather than take advantage of my desperation. After our current renters depart, I will have Artistic Cleaners back in to do a full scrubbing and they are my GO TO carpet and upholstery cleaners from here on out. They took time to match the right cleaning technique to the fabric of each piece. Every piece looks brand new. This is professional cleaning done right, not like from the quick highly advertised restoration companies or cleaners.
