Your kids would probably be safe there, but for how much they charge, you could do a lot better than Jardin.

Our son has been in a few different daycares across the last few years due to closures and us moving and I can easily say this is our favorite. We've never had a center director that has been as responsive, present, and supportive as Ms. Brittany has been throughout this entire process. The assistant director and the classroom teachers have also been wonderful! They have live-streaming cameras which make checking in very easy but the trust that has been built so quickly has made the cameras just a simple, fun perk now instead of a comfort necessity. The teachers are also great at providing frequent updates on the app. Our son loves going to "school" and literally runs in most days! We are so grateful to the entire team there!

They feed him organic foods with lots of fruits and vegetables with water, so he is developing healthy eating habits and he no constipation issues (I'm in healthcare, so I know it matters). There are multiple entry points, and no one is monitoring who is coming and going. 4. Poor communication-they did not return my phone calls regarding medical issues that occurred at the school. 5. Daily reports were not completely filled out, so it was difficult to know what she was eating/not eating. 6. The infants went outside 2x during the 3 months we were enrolled from June-September. 7. The infant & toddler rooms have no natural light. 8. They advertise "wholesome & organic" food, but the majority was processed and high in sugar. 9. My daughter would be starving every time after leaving Tierra. When I inquired if seconds were offered, I was told infants could share their neighboring child's plate if they didn't finish. 10. They dumped unused breast milk without communicating this to parents. 11. The owner refused to inform other parents when there was a communicable disease in the room. (pinkeye) 12. 2 of the 3 teachers in my daughter's room were not warm and friendly. They definitely seemed overwhelmed. 13. The room was not staffed 4:1 in the morning until 9 am. 2 things they did well-the head teacher was fantastic. The artwork we brought home was great.

WTM was the only one that talked about helping to teach our son how to be a "good" person rather than only focusing on skills, e.g. playing chess by age 2. The teachers in the toddler room have been amazing, my husband calls the lead toddler teacher "the toddler whisperer" because of her natural ability to handle all toddler situations and challenges. Our son has really bonded with the teachers because they put a lot of effort into understanding his individual needs. We love the fact that toddlers spend so much time outside and engage in variety of activities, from doing different types of art work, planting a garden, to enjoying picnic lunch every Tuesday in the summer. It's always a pleasant surprise when our son offers to help or says "thank you" when it wasn't solicited. That reinforces the fact that the teachers at WTM are putting as much effort into conveying the social norms and values as they do into teaching the skills. However, as of Jan 2022 - the people there :) - director and staff - seem so authentic and sincere ... not only about my son (who needs a little extra help) but about working with me to try and make every day, and the budget work. As KC is a huge corporation, I didn't really expect this level of empathy/care - or for them to give a $h*t for my little situation. So far, I am very happy and will try to hustle the best I can so my son can learn and grow with people, I believe, have his best interest in mind.
