I went through this school from 1st to 12th grade and I am so glad my parents sent me here. The teachers care about the students as individuals and worked to help students succeed. It is a Seventh Day Adventist school so the Bible is taught and teachers pray before every class. There is a wood shop as well as an auto shop and I believe this year they are offering an intro to welding class. The lab is nice and has a fume hood for experiments in chemistry class. The gym is nice and big and when you are playing on the center court it doesn't feel like you are going to run into the walls like it does at some other gyms. The one slight problem I have with the school is the uniform policy, I understand that the shirts need to be from the supplier but just let them ware a jacket and not have to switch from year to year with new rules and regulations on dress code. Both of my children go here and it is one of the most family oriented, teacher caring & encouraging, and AMAZINGLY dedicated to proper & high education!!! This school is very involved & goes on educational & fun field trips, does tons of school activities, and everyone knows everyone.... feels like a small town kind of school but with a big city educational curriculum.... We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANY AND ALL PARENTS looking for a school that cares about their children's education, knowing who your children are hanging out with, and growing leaps & bounds compared to public school.... I'm a student at this school and I've been there for 4 years and those have been an amazing 4 years the staff is extremely nice and helpful, all of the students are very nice and even the school is very nice looking I was in a public school for a couple years and there I was bullied and the teachers treated me like a pet but here I feel welcomed and I'm am basically friends with all of the teachers and really my life has improved when I was in public school I was depressed but when I was in school ('m not going tight know cause of quarantine) I was the happiest I've ever been Over all this school is amazing and if your kid is going to public school I would highly suggest this school the only thing is that it is kinda expensive but it is very worth it read more

I used to think this was a great school. After having my youngest sister go through her freshman year, I am EXTREMELY disappointed and almost disgusted at the school's administration. I won't go into all of the details, but the teachers and principal do not care about ALL the students. This school, along with other Seventh-day Adventists schools, are built on showing God through their teachings and actions. All I see here is hypocrisy, bullying, slandering of the innocent, protection of the offender, and most of all NEPOTISM. I can't stress that last one enough. This is a great school. My kids have gone here and excelled better than at their prior school. The teachers and principal really care about the students. I feel that the safety of the children is a big priority here also. They teach the word of God and educatcate the kids to be knowledgeable, have manners, integrity and morals. So first off, you have to understand that this is the most judgmental school in the entire state of California. Everything you say or do (no matter what it is) will be passed onto every teacher and every family member in the entire school. You will be hardcore judged even after you graduate. You will feel like you are trapped. Also the teachers are sometimes rude and choose favorites. The uniforms are crap. The students are fake and sheltered to where even staying out past 10:00pm is considered bad. They don't prepare you for real life because you are severely sheltered from everything. There's maybe 80 kids in the high school and by the time you graduate, more than likely each and everyone of them will have started 5+ rumors and talked behind your back. Also, there's NO meat in the cafeteria. And you pay around $5 for a meal that's kind of nasty if you ask me. Girls beware, you can't show your shoulders and if you wear shorts that are a little short, you're sure to be sent to the office to change. The goods about the school are there's fun trips and the social life is not to bad. read more
