Like high end Goodwill without the scabies! This store is cute! I love their clothes especially- not over priced for a vintage boutique. They've got it right- it's not grandma's yard sale, it's MCM and quality bricabrac. I go here every Time I need a gift for someone's birthday, wedding, graduation, housewarming...every time you go they will have a lot of new things. they have a very quick turnover and there is always something super unique that I know one of my cool friends will like, And for much cheaper than if I bought them some nonsense at Ross or the museum store. Mesh has anthropologie quality (or better?) clothing at walmart prices! Michelle has beautiful vintage pieces from every era, which is refreshing because so many Philly shops focus on Woodstock/ boho styles (She has these too!And at a better price than anyone in town). I have been oogling at this store's displays for a while now and I finally caught the store when it was open. Pro tip: follow Mesh's instagram for hours&understand that the owner the owner travels from Delaware so there can be delays to traffic/weather/etc. you can always message her on instagram to make sure she will be open as well; she is very responsive. This store is definitely worth a little planning,trust me. read more

I'm so happy this place is in my neighborhood. I've been a customer since the beginning and I usually find a few things to buy. The owner, Michelle, has a great eye and she's always friendly to me, sometimes even giving me the background on where she found a particular piece. It's clear that she really cares about finding the best possible stuff for her store. Not only that, she keeps her prices low. I stopped in this past Sunday and the dressing room was occupied, so I tried on a few things over my clothes as I chatted with Michelle about clothes and cats. (I bought two vintage dresses for a total of $30!) She is going through a difficult time in her life right now and she doesn't deserve the comments people have left on here. She tries her best to be open when she can, and she gives the hours and days she'll be open on Instagram. She just signed a new lease, which is great news! Thank you, Michelle -- you rock! read more

Best vintage selection in South Philly hands down, possibly best of Philly. Prices are very reasonable, and all items are well-curated, single-handedly by the owner. Selection is mostly women's from 1960's to 90's, with a men's section that as larger than most vintage shops. Hours can be a little sporadic because the owner is also a full-time caregiver to her husband's bout with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It is best to call ahead, send a message on social media, or check Facebook / Instagram for latest updates on hours. Owner is very responsive when messaged regarding shop openings. read more

Walked into this store with high hopes, however was gravely disappointed and honestly disrespected. On the price tag of all of their clothes are little notes, some such as "beaut", "such a steal", etc. However, when I looked at the price tag of a pair of jeans, under the price was the handwritten note "when being malnourished pays off". In a world where women's bodies are constantly judged, it's extremely upsetting to know another woman herself would have the audacity to body shame another. I truly can't comprehend the thought process behind writing that on the price tag - how a customer would enjoy having that sprawled on a pair of jeans they wanted to buy. Shame on this store. Shame on the person who wrote that. Shame on any person who judges a woman's body - no matter the size or shape. Safe to say I'll never step foot in this store again and I hope anyone else who celebrates all women's bodies won't give them their money as well. read more

VERY rough hours indeed. I mean how lazy are you? You already don't open until noon which should be good enough. I waited around and checked out the shops in the area, got a coffee. All after the hell of finding parking and finally gave up at 12:45 and left. Shame too as it looked like good stuff on the racks inside. A fantastic selection of vintage clothes! I always find something (probably several things) to buy here. They have open fitting rooms and a large variety of mostly women's clothes, accessories, and shoes. If you're looking for cheap clothes this is not the spot. However, given the quality of the clothes and the obvious effort given to selecting vintage clothes in good shape, the prices are totally reasonable. Also, they have good sidewalk sales every time I pass by. Some of my favorite dresses and "statement pieces" have come from this store. Also the owner Michelle is always very helpful and friendly when I come in! read more

Fave vintage store in Philly. Maybe in the entire country, and I live outside of NYC, where we have LOTS of killer vintage, and I travel all over and seek out vintage shops in every city I visit. I never leave empty-handed at Mesh. My fave thing is to scour the vintage, worn rock tees Michelle carefully stocks. I could go on Poshmark and do an easy search for a vintage Marshall Tucker Band tee that I want. But HALF the fun is pouring over the racks at Mesh and finding a Dream Theater tee I never knew I wanted. It's the DISCOVERY that I love. I can spend hours at Mesh. I had been eyeing a Marilyn Manson tee during a FEW visits, and when I decided to purchase and went to the register, Michelle said, "You finally decided to go for it with the Manson shirt, huh?" She REMEMBERED that I was on the fence. A small BUT important gesture. She's always great for a chat, is super stylish herself, and she has an OVERALL great selection. Oh, and once, when I grabbed a t-shirt haul, she gave me the Stryper button I wanted to purchase for free. Just a GREAT store, great choices, and a GREAT owner. I see people bitching about the hours, but all you gotta do is check IG and you'll find them there, and you'll get a response if you inquire! read more

the fact that this place is a five minute walk from my house is DANGEROUS- i am probably going to end up spending all my money here! this is such a wonderful store with amazing quality pieces at pretty awesome prices! i have come in a few times since i've moves to south philly and every experience has been a lovely one! i've gotten a pair of vintage levi's for about $18 which is LITERALLY a steal. the owner michelle is no joke the nicest person ever, and i commend her for running this business on her own- that takes a lot of hard work and effort!! bravo!! i'll definitely be back often! read more

Cute shop. Lots of cool retro/vintage clothing, shoes & accessories for men & women. I cant wait to see what she has not that the weather is warm. I found it while strolling down Passyunk Ave. Now every time I go to Adobe Cafe, across the street, I stop in here first & hope to find something to buy. The owner was cool enough to hold a item I purchased because I was on my way to happy hour and didn't want to carry it with me. I told her I would come back in a hour or two but didn't return until after noon the next day. To my surprise she recognized me immediately when I walked in the store. And said she even left a note on the door for me before she closed that night. How nice is that? And they take plastic debit/credit cards... You know I'm happy Downside? The owner is from Delaware. Which means she has a long drive in to the shop.....aka.... She runs late for the store opening from time to time :( so you may get there and it's not open although her store hours are posted as opening @12n. I don't care how much cool stuff you have in your shop, if you're rude to me literally every time I come in the store I will steer every single person I know away from your business.
