Worst experience!! Families are already grieving and going through hard times. We don't need rude,…read moreincompetent, money gougers too! I would give zero stars!! They had absolutely nothing prepared, or in a timely manner as they should have. When we were signing the book that was the contract for my Dad's final resting it was if the left hand couldn't/didn't communicate with the right hand. It seemed no one in the office knew what they were doing. I had made the comment about the $375.00 that they required to dress my Dad. We had the clothing, his cigar, and a Pepsi all ready with us. The man looks at me and says; "well, if you think you can go back there and do it, be my guest". What the f*ck!!? Who says that to a grieving daughter!!!? Then they said they would take care of contacting everyone. My Dad was retired Air force. They stated they would get the emblem for his headstone, contact the V.A., the cemetery where he would be laid to rest, and the people to have a military salute. Wrong!! We had to contact all of them!! The mortuary said it would be faster if we did it because we had all the information. Then the same man that told me to dress my Dad said that he would take the "tip" that was standard to give to the other military personnel that did the final salute. Well, the mortuary in Richfield did a far better job, we're kind and caring where these people were not. We also found out; the military send off personnel do NOT take tips. They said it's their honor to do. It seems to me this mortuary bleeds people dry, has the grieving family do most of the work, and are extremely enept!! They couldn't even figure out how to print the death certificates. There was an error on the certificate which we told them about when we reviewed it after they printed it from their program. Then they said we would have to wait a few more weeks for the corrected certification. Wtf!? They had the ability in their office. We had to leave and come back the next day for it. Then they charged a $400.00 fee to transport him to Marysville, UT. They used a family van. No hearse, no suits, no respect!! My Dad never got the emblem for his headstone. If we hadn't done most of the work, it wouldn't have gotten done. You can go through mortuaries in Utah, or use the Neptune Society and aren't stuck with these people!!!

I can't say enough good things about Care Cremation. During one of the hardest times in our lives,…read morethey were incredibly supportive, compassionate, and patient with all of my questions. They made sure we understood what to expect every step of the way, which brought so much comfort during such an overwhelming process. The transport team arrived at our home quickly and treated my dad with a level of care and respect that truly stood out--honestly, even more than the medical transport he received before he passed. That meant everything to our family. They were also so patient and understanding with our unique and somewhat confusing request to divide my dad's ashes between multiple urns. They handled it with kindness and professionalism without ever making us feel like it was a burden. Ms. Jaye and Dominique, in particular, provided customer service that I will never forget. Their compassion and dedication made a lasting impact on our family. Care Cremation truly made a very difficult time much easier, and I am deeply grateful for their care and support. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of these services.

This is my second experience with this establishment. My recommendation to my family came after I…read moresaw how well they handled my neighbor's proceedings. While his was a military funeral, ours was a direct cremation. Serenity handles their own cremations. Many crematoriums have had bad publicity of late. It was essential to be in control of the ashes/remains as soon as possible. Throughout the process from pickup (Friday) to cremation (Tuesday) to return of ashes (Wednesday) compassion, respect, and caring are extended to the family and loved one. Serenity offers immediate assistance in the most professional manner. The directors are there to assist through every stage of laying the beloved to rest, to offering support for those grieving. While it is best to have final wishes preplanned, it is never too late to have the discussion. I have dealt with funeral homes that use the grief of families to their own advantage, I have also had the chance to preplan arrangements without emotion with the most reputable funeral homes. With short notice, without pressure Serenity offered my family a most dignified ending for our beloved.
