I first met Dr. Folk when she was volunteering her time and expertise at a children's cleft palate and craniofacial clinic. She later operated on my 18-month-old son to remove a cyst from his forehead. I will never forget her walking into pre-op, sitting down on the floor, and playing with him while she talked with us in detail about his surgery. In that moment, I knew she was someone I could trust with the people I love most. In the years since, she has operated on me, my husband, and my mother for a variety of injuries and medically necessary procedures. There is no one I would trust more.
