I ended up getting to a point in said project where I needed more serious equipment versus the typical Home Depot-esque line of rental gear. This is where the Talisman Rental guys at the Canton location saved me. I had called ahead to make sure they had what I thought I needed. When I arrived and I discussed what I was actually doing versus just getting a tool and heading on my way, the two fine gentlemen working advised a better solution and explained why I needed such an item. They helped me load the piece of equipment into my piece of a car, and off I went. I spent the entire evening using the tool so that I could return it the next day. Yes, the machine wore me out, but that's the nature of the beast given the project I was attempting to DIY. Lesson learned. I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and we ended up chatting about things we had in common. Cool.

We decided to recover a chair and a half since we couldn't find a new one in a fabric that we…read moreliked. We have cats and needed a firm tightly woven fabric that wouldn't encourage scratching. Joy Upholstery did a fabulous job in a short time frame since we are listing our house and needed it back for photos. They improved the original design by making the back cushion separate rather than attached to the frame, added a lining to that cushion and put heavier fabric under the chair that our cats wouldn't scratch up. We couldn't find a new chair this wonderful for anywhere close to the cost. Before and after photos below.
