Waited 6 hours for a return call or text and nothing. Had my husband call from a different number and he called back and gave multiple excuses and when we told him we were reversing the charges on our cc, he went nuts, cursed us out and hung up on us. I really wanted to have a good experience with Defiant Engineering. Jeff, the owner, seemed like a…read moredecent guy at first -- friendly, responsive, and willing to help with a small job I needed done. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. After taking my deposit, Jeff basically disappeared. For a couple of weeks, he offered various excuses for the delays, but nothing ever moved forward. Eventually, I told him I'd rather just get a refund and hire someone else. Since then, I've been completely ghosted. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I trusted him with my money, and now I'm left with no job done and no refund. At this point, I feel like I have no choice but to file a police report. Be very cautious before working with this company.

This place is terrible. I walked in there...first of all there is no real entrance, I had to walk…read morethrough all the workers with all the sparks flying as they welded things....then one of them points to the stairs (this open creepy metal staircase) and I go upstairs, and the receptionist just stares at me. So I tell her I have a chair I would like to fix, and she says "Our guys are all tied up, sorry." So I politely suggest that maybe I could LEAVE the chair until maybe they have a few minutes...it's not like I expected them to fix it IMMEDIATELY, I mean, I'm a reasonable person! She then tells me "Just go down the street to Fred Martin, they'll get it done faster". Well that was easy. Thankfully I got to walk out of there without being rude, but you would think maybe they would want some business??? I just thought the whole thing was weird. They clearly aren't looking for anymore customers. With that said, head 1/2 mile down the street to Fred Martin - they are walk more clean cut and together, and way more helpful.

Corey came to my house, procured the necessary pieces (from lots of research) and fabricated the needed pieces and pulls! He matched the finish great.
