It's OK then so when this guy comes and tells me this fridge is in repairable because there's mice tube through the wires are you guys gonna have it delivered back to you guys exchange. He tells me no because it's not part of the deal OK cool like I understand that but you're telling me you sold me a fridge with most droppings and most that eat through the fridge and you won't even have the decency to drop free delivery back to the store huge red flag. Fast forward to me posting on Google reviews the story. I realized there was quite a few negative reviews at some point and then they're gone and now I know why because they literally turned around and say it was the customers fault on the review. On the response back the business literally says I'm sorry but we can't have a repairman chasing around customers So I'm not really sure what the business was thinking with that line because any other customer reading this problem and having the business say a repair man has to Chase me around may also be on the same page as me. Also in their response they said I was unruly I was cutting off the sales person and I was yelling. Soon as I read that I called right back because I wanted to clarify that with him the lady at the front desk on the phone told me they didn't write that review it would have been the manager. Well I asked to speak to the manager and they weren't there so my question then was on the review when I was told that I was the problem how did anyone know that if I wasn't speaking to that person? So this is my story and I really would like to point out the red flags I'm out over a $1000 to me it's a lot of money but to some people that is beyond a lot of money to be out and these people dont understand that. The prices were very fairly marked in my opinion and they offer a 6 month standard warranty with the option of purchasing a 2 year extended warranty (again, no pressure to purchase). So far the washer we purchased is running great. The best part is that there is no need to wait months to receive your appliance due to supply chain issues, you get to walk out with it the same day! We actually opted for the delivery option and still received it same day, with hookup and removal of the old one. We will not hesitate to purchase from Discount Appliances in the future and are happy to be able to support small/ local business.

This was not true. I was going to let it go but I can't. I am pleased the owner has the backs of his employees but I don't appreciate the accusations. Once again- the bare bones details: Booked Able because I moved a lot and I like to move my custom around, share the wealth as it were. One of the movers saw a doorstop from my previous movers and immediately was offended. So, here's the the thing. I booked them for a small truck move. I explained the situation and location. They agreed to come with the correct truck for noon. I started calling them at 4 pm to ask why the truck wasn't there yet. The owner let all my calls go through to voice mail. At 5 pm they showed up with a huge moving truck, completely inappropriate for the tight quarters. I'm on the corner of two busy streets. No place to park so they all left and returned over an hour later with another big truck. I'd been told they had a smaller one they could use. Parking was still a problem, so we were discussing if they could park in front of the dry hydrant - I agreed to pay the ticket if they got one. While we were discussing, one of the movers saw a woman he knew, and they started heading over to Alderney landing for a coffee. At that point I did raise my voice to reach him, asking where he was going. He yelled back he was going to take a crap and that he didn't want to crap in my apartment. This was in the middle of Portland and Alderney drive. I have to admit that by this time I was losing it. I have MS and am disabled and the stress and long standing was exhausting me. The boss then called me to tell me his mover was offended and would no longer move me because "I sweared at him". I admit, I may have said 'where the hell are you going' but it was already 6 pm and absolutely nothing had been moved My son and I decided that was the end, being told off by the boss when the service was so impossible. We fired them at this point, my son rented a truck from Enterprise and we and my landlady (God bless her) moved us across the street. It took us until midnight and I had to rest for a week afterwards. They didn't even offer to carry things over. It was just across the street!!! I felt the one mover didn't like the look of the move after what was admittedly a long day and deliberately made it impossible. I found no support at all from the boss of Able Movers and to see his response to my previous review, he remains the same. He did not listen to my side of the story at all, and never responded to my phone calls- in fact only talked to me when he called me to tell me off for MY behaviour!!! Just to give you a perspective, I am 5' tall, 61, and disabled. They treated me horribly all day. I will never use these movers again and hope they change their attitude for others.
