I had one of the worst customer service experiences in Canada at this dealership. The staff showed…read morevery little respect for customers, and it seemed that many of the sales representatives had very limited knowledge about the vehicles they were selling. We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. They handed me the keys, but one of the smart keys was missing the physical emergency key. When I asked where the emergency key was, they simply told me, "That's just how it comes from the dealership." This explanation makes no sense. Every smart key is designed to include a removable physical emergency key. It is completely unreasonable to have a slot for the physical key but no actual key inside it. Instead of looking into the issue or trying to help, they repeatedly insisted that this was normal and refused to acknowledge my concerns. As a customer, I expected honesty, professionalism, and knowledgeable service. Unfortunately, I received none of those. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone unless they improve their customer service and ensure their staff are properly trained about the vehicles they sell.

Terrible service department and non-existent customer service. Service manager originally told me…read morewhen I made appointment weeks ago to have oil and transmission fluid changed and left rear turn signal hyper flashing it would not take any longer than 4 hours. According to GMC Global Connect(I actually work for GMC and can access all this and their records) the labor breakdown is 2.7 for transmission fluid, .3 for oil change, 1.0 for diag to locate pinholes in wire for left rear turn signal if I'm being generous and .5 for changing it. That is 4.5 hours as a reasonable expectation for this service call as a Certified GM Service Center. At approximately noon when I am expecting to hear my vehicle is done I get a phone call from their bumbling service advisor who had no clue what was going on with my turn signal, thought it simply needed to be changed. I had to explain once again what they needed to do, directly to them. I then explained I had rented a vehicle for a day(since they don't value customer service enough to provide a loaner for a customer spending over $1k for a few hours of work/or understand the value of having a customer drive a newer vehicle to promote sales) and needed to return it by 3pm to avoid being charged for an additional day. The service advisor assured me it would be done well before 3:00pm and would call me before then to ensure I was not charged an extra day and order an Uber to bring me to the dealership. At 3:15pm he called me to let me know my vehicle was done. Effectively lying to me for the second time and wasting my valuable time and money. Then when I get there the service manager was clueless to what was going on in her shop and useless in trying to make their shortcomings right. She was however quite adept at making excuses to completely avoid any responsibility and couldn't even make eye contact with me. Proving the old adage, correct that "someone good at making excuses is good for nothing else." They would be better served by having a mop in this position as at least a mop can serve a purpose and won't insult the customers intelligence. She did nothing to offer reimbursement for the extra day of rental, the Uber or the inconvenience of dealing with their rank incompetence. I would say that I hope whoever owns this dealership is reading these reviews but considering many others have had similar experience this seems systematic and business as usual. Unfortunately as I am new to the area and this is my closest service center/dealership. As a lifelong GM customer as well I will ensure I take the longer drive over to Steele next time for all my family's service, parts and vehicle purchases. I feel sorry for the average customer who is daily lied to and taken advantage of by this inept operation and will do everything in my power as a GM employee to correct this ineptitude. The service manager seems to think the fact they are "independently owned" they are immune to any consequences but as a more seasoned GM employee I know this to be incorrect and there are incentives that dealers value at stake based off their performance. Congratulations on losing a customer, educated customers are clearly not valued here.

This shop is about antique and restorations of larger furnishings. Tables, armours, clocks, lamps…read moreand pieces to make an impact. There's an antique phonograph in the back. For me? I wish. The store is a double isle of content with minimal trinkets and lots of grande. Its a solid enough spot for a look if you're furniture shopping. The owner of the store was friendly enough, displaying some dry humor as he encouraged my sister and I towards the rifles. (encased in glass) Although there wasn't anything that sparked my interest for the time being, I see this as a worthy pit stop for the vintage shopper and those looking for furniture with Victorian flare.

This antique shop isn't of the trinket variety, instead carrying large furniture pieces and lamps, with some china and decor sprinkled in the mix. I've never been offered a salutation on my handful of visits to this shop, but I browse nonetheless, ignoring the fact that I am perpetually ignored. Today I eyed a marvelous brass and crystal candelabra, wearing a $495 price tag as well as a few rich and gorgeous bureaus. There are pieces dating back to the 1920s, perfectly restored with care, precision and expertise. The store proprietor, Jim McLellan has been working in the restoration business for some 25 years now, so brings much experience to the art of refurbishing antique goods. A fine place to duck into if you're on the hunt for some fancy home furnishings.

My journey with this dealership started Feb 11, 2019. In a nut shell, some people are really good…read moreand knowledgeable and some are not. I'm a new immigrant, I walked into this dealership to purchase an SQ5 and the sales person said they don't have one I checked various cars and really liked the Q8. However, the dealership guys said under the new immigrant program I cannot be approved for that and therefore, I ended up going with a Q5 Technik, made the required down-payment and all sorted, I drove with Q5. The next day I traveled to the US and received an email from the dealership saying they have printed my name wrong on the lease document and VW credit wants it to be as is from my passport. From the US I had to travel to India for my family emergency and didn't return until March 22nd and went to the dealership to get the lease documentation done. During some random conversation about how this lease can help me build my credit score so that I could get approved for credit approvals easily in future it revealed that I could have got approved for a Q8 in the first place ( Tony said this, he's a very knowledgeable man, if you're going to Audi Halifax make sure to talk to him before you make your final decision) then moving forward I asked what was the process for Q8 if I could get approved. He said he'd have to depreciate my Q5 price by $4000 and then making some more down payment would qualify me. Had they told me this in the 1st place I would have saved $4000. Finally, paid the difference and got the Q8 Technik and have a loss of $4000 because of the dealerships mistake and they have denied to not charge $4000 and kept saying that they have already discounted the Q8 price by 3% from their margin. At the end of the deal - I realized I lost the water bottle that they gave me with the Q5 with nice Audi logo on it and requested the salesperson if he could give it. He denied and said you just exchanged the car and we give them only with new purchase! Come on I paid additional $38K on this car which itself is equal to buying a new car. I felt that reaction from him was cheap and bad. Overall, Tony is a nice, humble and knowledgeable guy. Others that I have interacted were OK. As a dealership they're very money minded and I wish we had another Audi dealership in the Halifax area as an alternative to go.
