This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.

To my point, this could have been communicated so much better instead of through the Receptionist, who tried to get a hold of Henry or maybe you, but stated you didn't have to call me back. I had left voicemails and asked the Receptionist to attempt to get someone to call me back for 2 weeks to no avail...only to have the contract cancelled at 7:44pm the night before. House is going on the market this weekend, so it was not great timing. Similar to what others experienced, received a quote when I caught Henry in-person doing a neighbors yard; however, have had a really difficult time getting them to actually follow-up and start the job. Putting a house on the market this week, and had a signed contract with them to start tomorrow, instead they cancel last minute at almost 8pm the night before. I've been waiting on a call-back and have left voicemails and messages with their receptionist, but not having heard from them I called earlier today and of course some things had changed from what was quoted in-person and what they were planning on doing tomorrow. I guess they did me a favor by going ahead and cancelling the appointment altogether instead of having a conversation.

Henry promptly provided reasonable estimates and, once I approved them, work was completed in one day with excellent results. Found Henry and his team exceptionally polite, capable, experienced and a pleasure to work with. Will definitely call them again for next project.

5 Stars because... - Jeff is awesome and really cares…read more- Project was done quickly and on time - Project was done on budget (with a very competitive estimate) - Jeff brought a great vision for our space - All the work was very professional with NO corners cut at all We had a FANTASTIC experience with Jeff and TriValley Landscape; they have our business for life. We've been through the whole process of getting quotes and browsing through Yelp for contractors and I can definitely say that the next time we have a landscaping project come up, we're going straight to Jeff. We received 5 estimates for our backyard - from companies large and small - and Jeff was the only one who actually listened to what we wanted and then gave thoughtful suggestions based on his expertise and actually had a vision for the space. Nearly every other company asked what we wanted but never asked any follow up questions or showed any interest in providing an expert opinion. That would be fine if I was a landscape architect and a botanist but... I'm not!! Jeff is extremely valuable not only for the high quality work that he and his team does, but for the knowledge and expertise that he brings to the table, and the fact that he actually CARES. Early on in the estimate process I mentioned to Jeff that we recently had a baby and that part of my motivation for updating our backyard was to make the space more functional as a fun play space for our son as he grows up. Jeff constantly tweaked the design and approach to accommodate this ultimate goal for the space. He purposefully laid out the plants and trees so that our son could run through the landscape once it grows in (which is tricky because the hillside is steep), he brought in extra boulders to give him something to climb up on and jump off of, and consciously steered us away from any poisonous or dangerous plants. Now, with the design that Jeff laid out, we are so so excited to see our son enjoy the backyard for years to come!! I should also mention that I have strong opinions when it comes to the design and layout of our home which made Jeff's approach even more impressive. Jeff seamlessly blended his professional opinion with my particular ideas and desires which made for a really enjoyable and collaborative experience; and ultimately a final product that we are VERY happy with! I don't usually write Yelp reviews (ever really) but our experience with Jeff was so positive that I felt compelled to write one here. That should say it all!
