Please consider seeking care somewhere (literally anywhere) else. I have never received worse care…read morein my life. I am not basing this on one experience, but several. This last visit was the last straw however. Why did I keep going back? Well, it's usually the clinic I can be seen at same day and it's very close to my house, so while care has never been too high of quality here, being a busy mom, it usually suffices when I need a zpack or for minor issues. The provider saw me on Monday & told me to call back if I developed a fever. I did so I tried to call. The phone number listed was not the correct clinic, so I had to be rerouted. Twice. After 25 minutes on hold, I still did not get the correct location but the person who answered this time said they'd give the provider my message. 24 hours go by, no call back. I then get a text with a link for a follow up telehealth visit. So seeing as I'm sicker now, I take it. I wait for the visit the next day and log in. It is with a random provider at a different location and they apparently had no access to the provider's notes from Monday so it was like starting over. After me telling her how my symptoms have gotten worse, she informs me there's nothing she can do beyond cough medicine (what?) and to schedule an in-person appointment. Super, super frustrating. I understand telehealth visits have limitations but there was zero effort to examine me virtually and felt almost as if she was just trying to rush me off the phone. I did not feel heard or well-cared for as I have in other telehealth appointments elsewhere. There is a severe lack of quality of care here. They have clearly given up. Please do not waste your time or money at any of these branches. Legacy ER is next door and 100% the extra few bucks. Lesson learned!!

Staff was entirely different from my first experience. The doctor is great, and I had no complaints towards her. She was very sweet and helpful. However her front staff was not that case. The lady that handles the insurance claims, is also the nurse prior to seeing the doctor. She gives major attitude and backtalks. She asked me the location of my Walgreens pharmacy. I told her on Midway. She said "ok" as if she knew which one. Never asked the address to confirm. After it was too late bc the doctor had already electronically sent the prescription, I find out she had sent to a Walgreens that doesnt even have Midway in its intersection. It's off Preston and Frankford. Had I not double checked, I would've never known where she sent it. After hours of not being able to get my prescription at my pharmacy, sick in bed, im told then i can just come get the written prescription. Which I had asked for, prior to leaving. Poor front staff can truly ruin it for doctors. Staff prior, was totally different. Also, front lobby, dirty. Not a single water bottle in the fridge for patients, unlike prior visit. TVs in there but all off. If it were just the doctor, id give higher

Words cannot express how well my ER visit went today. Thank you all so much! I was at this location this afternoon for a work related injury. I cannot remember the name of the ER in-take nurse but she was so helpful, kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She did a fantastic job of getting me checked in and seen right away. Then I met Dr. Erin MacDonald Owens, she was friendly, caring, and listened to my concerns. She acted accordingly and facilitated my needs with Radiographs, oral medications given in hospital and prescriptions sent to my most convenient pharmacy. I then met the sweetest nurse, I apologize that I forgot her name! She helped me with all paperwork and assisted me in finding the correct information on my paperwork that I arrived with from my place of business. She was the best; so nice, very caring and stayed with me until I fully understood everything going on. She did not leave me until I had all questions answered. Thank you, to an amazing female nurse that comforted an anxious patient. Then I met Paul, he came in and performed radiographs of my Left elbow/forearm. He had the greatest personality, he even allowed me to joke about my veterinary career field. He was so gentle, funny, and put my mind at ease so I could continue with Dr. Owens's orders. After some time I met Brooke, whom fitted me with a sling to help comfort my injured arm. She made me laugh and is clearly very experienced in her field of medicine. I want to say thank you to the amazing team of nurses and Dr. You all greatly contributed to easing my mind and understand today's course of action.

After the visit was completed, I was then told I owed a co-pay, which felt very misleading and put me in an uncomfortable position. Patients deserve transparency about costs upfront so they can make informed decisions before being seen. Not disclosing fees beforehand feels deceptive and unprofessional. I would recommend that future patients ask about all costs before receiving care.

The most concerning part of the visit was the conduct of the front office nurse. Rather than showing empathy or focusing on patient care, the conversation immediately centered around how expensive the visit would be and what it could potentially cost. While patients should be informed about costs, the manner in which this was communicated felt inappropriate, alarming, and unprofessional, especially when someone was seeking care for severe pain. What made the situation even more troubling was that we were given information about what treatment and testing would supposedly be needed before any clinical evaluation had taken place. Later, we received completely different information from the provider, leaving us feeling confused and misled. The lack of consistency and professionalism in communication was unacceptable. When people come to an emergency room in the early hours (5am) of the morning, they are often scared, uncomfortable, and looking for help. Instead of feeling supported, we felt dismissed, judged, and pressured. The overall experience demonstrated a concerning lack of compassion, poor communication, and questionable judgment from the front office staff. I hope management reviews how patients are being treated at the front desk and ensures staff are held to a higher standard of professionalism, ethics, and patient care.

We arrived and were taken back to have my babies vitals taken. When we got in the room there was 2 nurses, one asking questions about the baby and one taking vitals. The nurse asking questions left and the nurse taking my poor babies rectal temperature proceeded to insert the ENTIRE probe thermometer (NOT an at home thermometer) in my child all the way to the base. At the time I was in absolute shock but being that i'm a first time mother I didn't question her, I just made a face to my mother and the babies father who thank god we're in the room with me. The nurse then immediately walked out after taking the temperature. I then started asking questions, trying to comprehend what I had just watched and experienced. I knew in my gut and was very concerned that what had just happened was not appropriate for a newborn. The doctor then comes in and asks about my babies low body temperature and asks how we were taking the temperature at home. Before I answered him I said "well let me ask you a question.. how far should the thermometer be insert-" and he quickly cut me off. He then states that the nurse had "already told him". My mom had then asked him "well what did she tell you?". He rudely follows that with saying that the nurse already told him that I made a "crazy face" at her while she was taking his temperature. I then said "I sure did, because she inserted the entire thermometer probe up my child?"... then he laughs says hold on and walks out of the room. He came back with a AT HOME thermometer and tried to say that we should only inserting an inch ect. Every time what the nurse did got brought up he changed the subject and dismissed our concerns. He proceeded to check out my child's rash and then says he needs to speak with the ER dr. He goes and makes a call and when he came back he asked questions about who my pediatrician was.. rolled his eyes.. asked about certain vaccines.. rolled his eyes and his entire demeanor changed. He was extremely unprofessional, arrogant, rude and now asking me (mother) questions that felt unrelated and uncomfortable. Once he heard who my pediatrician was adamant we go to the ER.. prior to this conversation he made it seem non emergent and optional. At this point i'm extremely upset and just want what is best for my baby, so if that is going to the ER thats absolutely fine. He goes to get the order form and as he is outside our door he tells multiple people in a group "She said you stuck the thermometer 5 inches up his butt!" and they all started laughing hysterically. He then said "Then she said you picked up the baby and spun him around the room" they then all laughed again.. as if the situation, harm, bullying, and unprofessionalism towards a concerned mother and a defenseless 3 week old baby was the funniest thing they have ever heard. Sickening. Dr Atkins then came back in with a huge smile on his face and that's when I told him that we can hear everything he just said and I questioned what is funny about this situation. He LAUGHED and said he just had to tell them what was going on. Dr Atkins made JOKES about a situation that I voiced I was concerned about complications that put my baby's health at risk. At this point I am crying. I take the order form and with a smile on his face he says "yall have a good night". When we left the room there was not a nurse in sight. Insanely dismissive behavior and traumatizing all around. I feel so bad for any kids lives in the hands of these people. Once we arrived at the ER, I was told that rectal temperatures in newborns are typically taken at about 1/2 inch to 1 inch, which increased my concern about how my baby's temperature had been taken earlier. We were advised to monitor for signs of complications by the ER Dr

They are not open to charge our card and this is absolutely absurd. Absolutely crooks. My husband and I arrived at Care Now Urgent Care on December 19 at approximately 2:15 PM. We checked in at the kiosk, completed all required paperwork on our phones, uploaded insurance information and IDs, and received multiple confirmation messages. We were assigned number 7 in line, with an estimated time to be seen around 3:17 PM. Shortly before that time, the front desk informed us that we were not checked in, despite the electronic confirmations. We were then manually checked in, and our wait time was reset and extended by approximately one additional hour. During this period, we also began receiving post-visit surveys, even though we had not yet been seen. While waiting, we observed several front desk interactions that were concerning. A receptionist laughed at an upset female patient and publicly stated the reason for her visit ("drug test") in the waiting area. Another family experienced repeated delays because intake paperwork was sent to an incorrect phone number, despite the issue being communicated multiple times. We also observed inconsistent patient call-back order. A White male patient was escorted to the back shortly after arrival, while a Hispanic male patient who appeared visibly ill and experiencing difficulty breathing waited significantly longer without progress. Additionally, we were initially informed that we owed a $40 specialist copay instead of the $25 urgent care/primary care copay listed on our insurance, which required clarification and added to the confusion. Although we were eventually seen, the total time from arrival to completion extended over several hours, far beyond what was communicated or reasonable. I have over 20 years of experience working in healthcare, and the front desk operations during this visit reflected poor communication, ineffective intake management, and a lack of professionalism. This experience was disappointing and warrants attention from management. If you don't like a certain race of people at least know your job!
