Geesh! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be reviewing my experience in getting a…read morecolonoscopy. At least, this review will NOT have any pictures! This was my third experience with a colonoscopy and my third time to get one with this organization. The first time was way back when it was located in a smaller clinic near the Methodist Hospital. The second was at this location during Covid. That was a very interesting experience, as it seemed like I was the only patient there. They made you sit in your car until they called you in. Everyone you came in contact with was wearing a mask, which was still a fairly new thing. Back in the procedural area, there were very few people in the halls. Maybe they limited the number of patients on the schedule and reduced staff. It was a surreal and apocalyptic experience for sure. This time, everything was different. The lobby was about 75% full. There were at least 8 people working behind the counter. Everything worked like clockwork. I checked in. I sat in the lobby filling papers out. I turned my papers in. They called me back and started prepping me for the procedure. From start to finish, at least ten people had been there to perform a specific role. And let me tell you that every single one of them was very nice and respectful. Each one of them took the time to explain their part, answering any questions I had. I never had the opportunity to feel embarrassed. I undressed to the point of being completely naked in total privacy and was instructed to lay on the bed and cover myself with a blanket before calling someone in. Even when I was laying on my side with my massive rear end uncovered, I never felt shy or embarrassed. It was all done so quickly and professionally that I didn't have time to worry about anything. Before I knew it, the procedure was over, I was in a recovery room with my lovely wife, and someone was serving me some delicious apple juice. I wholeheartedly recommend this location for your gastronomic care. I really like Doctor Chirag Patel, but I am confident they are all wonderful doctors. The place is clean, super organized, and staffed by awesome people. I'll be back in 2011 to do it all over again.

The MA Iyesha was kind and quick with her triage and prep. The nurses and anesthesiology team were great and so was the MD. All around you can tell the individuals where happy to be there (or at least they did a great job pretending to be happy, lol) Nurse Barbara was even kind and thoughtful enough to place my spectacles on my face for me so i could see when I woke up. I want to give kudos to the Hamilton Wolfe Gastroenterology Consultants location for my great experience today. Thank you, MA Iyesha, RN Rhianna, RN Barbara, NA Janet, Dr. Lao, Dr. Wendorf and anyone else whose name I forgot to capture......front desk personnel!!! Keep up the great work!

Throughout the years, she's overseen my care for multiple conditions including SIBO, chronic pancreatitis, gastritis, and issues related to colonoscopy findings. Other than actual procedures, rarely have I ever had to see the medical doctor when I'm under her care, because she's just as knowledgeable of gastroenterology as the MDs themselves. Every time I have seen her, she always asks relevant questions, explains possible causes, and comes up with a carefully structured plan of treatment to help me get better. I have never felt rushed--am encouraged to ask questions, and in return we have a mutual understanding of what the next steps are. When necessary, she's quick to communicate with the appropriate specialists throughout their large umbrella of specialists at Gastroenterology Consultants. My needs have never gone unmet. If I have a question or concern, I can always get a quick response back via their patient portal. Final Thoughts I have been thoroughly satisfied with the care I have received from Jordan. She is such an upbeat, caring healthcare professional and I feel grateful to have her managing my complex GI care. I highly recommend Jordan Gooch, PA for anyone seeking a highly-knowledgeable GI expert with a compassionate approach to get you better. You can reach them at (210) 614-1234.
