When I called Metrix, Mike said it would be 3 - 4 weeks before they could look at my 1996 Suzuki Intruder. The wait was well worth it. Mike listened to my concerns. He diagnosed & repaired the mechanical issues, including wobbly forks. There were several repairs where parts are no longer available. He used creativity, knowledge, & skill to repair "the unrepairable." My 2003 Harley will be brought to Metrix for all work. read more

I looked up scooter repair on YELP! needing an alternative to a disappointing experience in downtown St Augustine from a "prominent" scooter rental establishment. Let's be CLEAR here...this shop is full of real biker "bike whisperers" who, by all rights, could have dismissed me on the grounds of "scooter rider", but Mike, the man responsible for this well-oiled machine shop did NOT do that. I discovered this shop a couple of years ago, and Mike, as I recall the mechanic's name is, is simply awesome. Over the last 2 years I have had issues with my Yamaha Venture that I thought I could fix, and would ask Mike for advice which he freely gave and was right spot on twice. When I had to lay my bike down recently, I took it to Ancient City Cycle where it sat for 6 weeks, every time I went I was told it would be next week at the latest. So I took it to Metrix and he told me exactly what he thought the problem was and I was able to fix iit myself. So when I recently needed some other work done, I took it to Metrix without hesitation. He had his friend who was there give me a ride back home so I didn't have to get a cab. I was so surprised at the price (in a really good way), that I feel I have to do anything I can to help out his business. In a town, and a state dominated by Harley's and expensive dealer repair, I am so glad I have a Venture and that that a shop like Metrix is in St. Augustine. read more
