We LOVED Metro Pets! our doggy went at least 3 days a week. One day I picked him up, brought him home and found two HUGE puncture wounds on him. I had to bring him to the doctor, get an antibiotic and luckily he didn't need stitches. I called to tell them and they said they didn't know what happened and told me that they would get back to me after investigating and never did. Like I said, he went at least 3 days a week, knew him by name and he was so excited every time we pulled up. The way they handled the situation, didn't know what happened and never got back to me, was wrong and not how you conduct business. Was no one outside with them? They were HUGE bite marks. Now my doggy doesn't like bigger dogs and has a problem with dogs in general. It completely tramatized him and he is different which upsets me to no end because he was great with everybody. I worked to have him comfortable with all sizes of dogs and now he doesn't even like to be around them. I would not recommend this place. read more

I have been coming here over a year. My dog loves it. They have over charged me twice. Then said I had an open invoice but was finally corrected. Now the same employee wants to try to charge me a whole day and wasn't even 5 hrs. The nice manager is gone . I guess it's time to look for another daycare. Just RIDICULOUS. read more

Mercedes is exhausted when I pick her up so far so good she has a lot of friends I hear keeping her busy.

My pup has some anxiety when first entering the pen. The employees here knew that and yet let my dog go in before letting her de-stress, which led to another gate aggressive dog attacking my dog, biting her leg and cutting her eye. The employees never notified me and only mentioned it when I asked how she did that day. She developed an infection in the bite and I spent $200 to heal her infection. I notified metro animals and they said they would pay back the money and I never heard from them again. I don't ask for much...I just want to know my dog is safe. She is severely traumatized and won't be going back. read more

This place was great. I had never been to a self pet wash before. The staff was so helpful. They walked me through everything. They provide the shampoo, conditioner, and other neat, helpful tools. We have used Metro for our dogs' day care for nearly 4 years. Our pups, two Labs, always come up thoroughly exhausted with content smiles on their faces. As soon as we head west on Camp Bowie they seem to know where we're headed and can barely contain themselves. We feel confident leaving the pups at Metro for extended boarding as well. The taxi service is uber convenient when our flight land after Metro closes. We come home to our pups and don't have to spend he extra money on an additional night. Our only concern with Metro is their customer appreciation. We'd love for the manager or owner to reach out and thank those of us who have been loyal customers. A free day here and there, or free baths for the pups would go a long way to show appreciation. read more

Metro Animals is the best! The staff is super friendly and my pup always gets so excited when we pull in. They have pools and play games and she is worn out for hours when I pick her up. I've been taking her 2-3 times a week for over 3 months now and she has become well socialized with other dogs and is better behaved because she gets all that energy out. I have nothing but great things to say about MA2 and the wonder staff that keep this location going. From day boarding to extended stays for our dog, we are always pleased. The staff are very attentive to the pets there, and keeps them busy. We've had to board our dog here the past couple of days because of all the consecutive rainy days we've been having here in NTX. It's not fair to keep him in the house all day when he's used to our daily visits to the park to run a play. MA2 allows him to have a dry place to run around and play, but also socialize with the other dogs there as well. Great daily rates and great extended stay rates as well. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE....DOG SENT HOME WITH STRANGER!!!!! We have been sending our black lab here whenever my husband and I travel for work. This evening my husband went to pick up our dog, only to find out they had sent her home with a stranger. They had mixed up my female black lab with another male black lab (the black lab was being fostered, and the foster parents didn't realize they had taken home the wrong dog). Metro animals remove the collars from all the dogs while they play and obviously do not know each dog or have a system in place to track the names of each dog....it appears it was only a matter of time before this happened or happens again. I understand that dogs look similar, and this is exactly why they should have a system in place to stop this happening! Not to mention they could simply look at the sex of the dog as another indicator. Our dog was a regular and we had recommended this place to so many others. Our dog is nervous around strangers and not only did this cause our dog stress, but my husband and I also. Not to mention my husband then had to wait 30 minutes for them to track down where our dog was located and have her brought back. To top this off the owner and the manager thought that 3 days of free day care would make up for this. This is laughable! That is the value they put on our dog and the amount of stress this has caused us? This is no way to treat a regular customer that has recommended this place to many other people.....poor customer service! This story could have ended very differently, and we are just so glad to have our dog back after this ordeal. read more

We tried this location after going to M1 for a few weeks. The staff is just as great as the other location. I couldn't be happier with our entire Metro experience. I know Maggie gets the attention she needs during the day while I'm at work. They take the time to work with her on socialization and commands. Maggie cut her paw while playing and they took the time to tell me. The staff goes above and beyond for the dogs. I'm so happy we found this place! read more

I love Metro Animals! I recently moved to Fort Worth and tried many daycares for my little pup. Metro Animals is hands down the best daycare in FTW. The staff is great and they know my dog by name every time I drop her off for daycare which I love. They also post photos on Facebook so I know my dog is having a good time. I have been taking my 9 month old puppy to Metro for the past month for 2-3 days per week and I will say she is "Dog Tired" from her time at Metro. At first she seemed a bit reluctant but now we enter the parking lot and she starts smiling and wiggling in her seat. When I pick her up, the look on her face (hard partying) makes me laugh.. I still can't beleive that my dog, Mr. Hank, can tell when we are within six or seven blocks from the day care. The minute we pull up, he almost pulls me out of the car so he can start playing with his other "day care buddies". The help knows him by name and treat him like he is one of their own. I have used the Rover.com day care a few times, but they pale in comparison to Metro. He is the only place I trust with my dog. This is a great place to board your dog or for daycare. I take my dog in for daycare at least 3-4 times a week. It is perfect for wearing off some of her puppy energy during the week.
