I am in utter disbelief at the audacity of Brian. When she inspected the vehicle, there was food and trash left inside. There were also stains and grease/dirt on the interior. The center console compartment, glove box, and, her bag in the trunk had all been rummaged through. Fortunately, I had removed anything of real value. In addition, somebody else's phone charger was plugged into the center console. The vehicle had been left with a full tank of gas. When picked up, there was only one quarter tank of gas left. They had clearly been using our vehicle during the time they had it, a span of six days.

I got a couple estimates from a couple shops around the area (one body shop quoted me $600+ labor to replace the bumper). I also requested a quote from Newlook. I reached out to Coastal Van Conversions Winter 2021 when I was in the process looking for a van…read moreconversion company to help me achieve my dream of #vanlife. I was excited to work with them because they were the right price point and they were able to do fully customizable work. However, my excitement turned to mild annoyance when I got inconsistent communication on the status of my van. They communicated, but after looking at my van, I realized they should have reached out to me more regarding on the look and layout. Additionally, I was promised a 3-D model of the layout (which I never got). I ended up flying out to South Carolina and initially I was excited to get my van, but upon further inspection I noticed poor craftsmanship, lack of attention to detail and after the final build I noticed crooked outlets, multiple drill holes that showed where they made mistakes, wood not sanded or stained, etc. When I took it back, they fixed things, but once again I noticed extra drill holes, paint on my curtains and sawdust where they forgot to sweep. Also they forgot to put my trashcan back in my van and I would have driven home without it had I not reached out. Additionally, I took my van to a reputable solar van conversion company and they quickly acknowledged that while my set up works, it was inefficient and ineffective. These guys are literally 20-something year olds that thought it would be a good idea to start a van company WITHOUT even understanding the aspectes of vanlife and van living. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You are only going to be frustrated.

I recently bought a van that had been "converted" by this company. The workmanship and…read moreconstruction is so poor, that I am having to rip everything out and redo it from scratch. The ceiling panels are poorly fitted, some of them overlapping. The cabinetry was built with "C" or "D" grade 3/8" plywood, and are torn from the dull sawblade they used to cut it. They made extensive (and poor) use of spackle to cover up the poor quality of the wood. Paint job is the same. The cabinet doors have warped and don't close evenly, easily preventable with a higher grade plywood and more complete paint job. The electrical system is a rolling hazard. Unsecured wires and metal flex conduit unsecured across the battery terminals. Your gear storage areas should not have sparks, especially when it is directly underneath your bed. Cables and plumbing is not secured properly. There is supposed to be insulation and a vapor barrier installed...based on the other work, I won't be surprised if they skipped out on that. Very poor quality. You're better off doing the work yourself, and watching some YouTube videos to figure out that aspects you are not familiar with.

I have to say they kept me and my daughter updated every step of the way, even when they found additional damage. The car was done in a week and 1/2 ( we did wait 4 months for appt) and they were the most professional group ever! Being 700 miles away and having a daughter under 25 (rental purposes) they were just amazing. I hope this never happens to anyones car, but if it does Reeley's is the way to go! They ordered most parts ahead of time and had everything ready (except extra damage) and were just amazing. The car came back detailed and they were fantastic. When I went to have the work done, Jamie and his colleague Crystal lined up an Enterprise rental for me, complete with Enterprise pick up at the shop. My car work was done the next day, ahead of when Jamie had promised, and not only does it look beautiful, they washed my car and cleaned the interior, too. Another very nice touch is I was able to leave the car rental at the shop when I got my car, and they handled getting it picked up for me. Very convenient. The customer service was way better than all the other shops I've worked with before and the quality of the work is superb. Highly recommend!
