I wouldn't recommend them to fix my lawnmower I carried my car in for a oil filter housing gasket repair which cost me $3,800. When I received my car back I had another problem. It was making a noise that it had never made before. I found out that they didn't do a proper install because of that. It caused my car to have a knocking in it. They refuse to acknowledge it and do anything about it afterwards I took my car to Dick Dyer and they acknowledged that the part was not installed correctly and that in order for them to fix it it would cost me around $15,000. So I learned my lesson. You get what you pay for and if you want your work to be half done. Keep going to Royal automotive. If not, take it to a reputable foreign car dealer. If you have a Mercedes, take it to the Mercedes dealer. Definitely do not go to Royal automotive I wouldn't give them one star read more

I wouldn't recommend them to fix anything. They tried to scam me out of NY money. I had a water pump,thermostat and serpentine belt replaced. They charged me 2000 dollars. I called to see if my car was ready. The guy at front desk told me I needed to speak to the owner. He calls and tell me my car still running hot after he replaced the water pump. The owner said he GUESS I need a new radiator. Which is 2000 more money. I'm noticing he Guessing alot and charging me more money. I went and picked my car up because he's not about to keep guessing on my bank account. Heck no. I took my car to Brown Motor works and they did a diagnostic and the reason my car is still running hot is because the tech didn't put on the backflow on the water pump. At that point I called him and asked for my money back cause clearly they have no clue what they are doing. They then claim Brown Motor works doesn't work on their part warranty plan. (I was shocked how they were blaming their incompetence on Brown Motor works. They did not accept accountability at all for their horrible service.) My car had to be towed back to them since I already paid them and they didn't want to refund me my money. I thought about calling the police. I get my car back and my car now has a hard idle and is not how it use to run. I wouldn't let them change anything. Rude, scammers, incompetence, inexperienced and horrible service. They have had my truck for 7 days and the work still isn't done. On top of that for the last 3 days the price has increased from $800 to $913 and now today they want $1022 with an explanation of "he underestimated the work needed to be done" I am highly dissatisfied. Not to mention my vehicle is a 1999 Mercedes and the issue they are supposed to be repairing is my brake line. Poor service and just a downright rip off! I would NEVER recommend again! read more

I was referred to this shop from a person that lives in the city of Columbia SC. I personally would not refer anyone to this shop. (To whom in Concern) Above you will see my original post. Had a starter replaced at $105 per hour. (3 labor hours). After the starter was replaced the shop called to say that the battery is dead and needs to be replaced and installed. The battery was an interstate battery at a cost of $188. And a cost of $105 (1 hour) to install. I had the original starter put back on the car which i was able to purchase and supply my own OEM part. I had the old starter tested at Advance Auto Parts on Two Notch. I had the starter tested at Auto Zone on Hard Scrabble. And the last place I had the starter tested was at the Mercedes Benz Dealership. "All three places had a bench test of Pass, and or Good. After I completed all of these things, I called the owner of the shop on his cell number on a Sunday and explained to him what my concerns were. ( keep in mind that the owner was on his Honeymoon the day the vehicle was towed to the shop and repaired). He said for me to come to the shop on the following Monday and he would look into my matter and that he would test the starter. I asked for the cost of the labor back from the starter replacement since I show proof that the starter is good. (keep in mind i had the bench test on video from advance auto parts and auto zone, which i showed the owner). He did not test the starter. He offered an oil change which was declined. He did not offer to put the old starter back on the car. He said the the only way to tell if its a bad starter was to have the old starter back on the car to see if it would start. In-conclusion the shop never provided any proof that the starter was a bad starter. read more

The owner Millers is a complete scam and disrespectful unprofessional. I was told there are shop fees. Ask what does it consist of. Was told every shop charge shop fees. Ok but for what. He couldn't explain. Just because other shops do.? Well its was brought in for diagnostic. Big sign on his desk say Diagnostic charge is $95. My total was for over $200. He say its because he spent 2hrs on my car to scan it with scanner and look up codes. The actual Benz dealer only charged me $150. NO SHOP CHARGE PER/HR FOR DIAGNOSTIC.I worked at a car shop. That only takes 30 mins tops. Then tried to double charge me on 2 different transaction from when he repaied my wife bmw. . If i didnt review my paperwork he would have got a extra $2k. Still didnt fully fix vehicle. Once i mention getting legal aids involved he returned me my vehicle. All of a sudden there is no charges at all. He didnt like the fact I am knowledgeable when it comes to repairs and was expexting another sucker. Always get a 2nd opinion DO NOT TRUST THE OWNER. The techs are decent. Purchased a used vehicle from an individual and the air conditioner had major troubles. I've been using Roger for many years previously for other vehicles, he told me the exact parts I needed and my air conditioner is still ice cold, a year+ later. Price was right.
