Purchased an item from here that I like, the store had nice inventory. However, when it was time to check out, the clerk announced my total was higher than I expected. When I questioned why the total was higher than the sticker price including tax he realized that he overcharged me. It could've been an honest mistake but for places that do not give itemized receipts please be sure you fact check their total. Pull out your phone's calculator if you must but don't make it easy for businesses to over charge you. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This store is the absolute worst store I've ever been in, in my life! The products were too my liking but the customer service is so undeniably disgusting. A couple years ago The owner of the store accused me of stealing by yelling at me and violating me by reaching into my hoodie pockets. She was literally YELLING at me. I had put some false eyelashes in my hoodie pocket while I was walking around looking at the wigs. I had no intention of stealing it, I just needed my hands free. Mind you, I walked into this store with a thousand dollars in cash ready to bless this business and buy their wigs. Recently I went back to look at their wigs again and the owners husband (who also co owns the business I believe) started to welcome me in. I said thank you I'm just going to look at a few wigs. And he immediately told me there wasn't enough time for me to shop for wigs there and closed the door in my face. They still had 30 minutes before they were closing. The store was open. Never ever go here. The owners are rude, inconsiderate, and try to make you feel like a criminal for wanting a couple cheap beauty products. Gross gross gross. I feel completely violated and judged. Today was my 2nd visit to this store. First visit was fine, found what I needed at a very good price no issues. My 2nd visit was awful and I will not return. I brought in my daughter and her BFF, both 11. I needed two things, Marley hair and needle and thread. As I was looking, the girls were two aisles over. I heard a phone ringing through the intercom and then a woman very loudly say "don't play with those, don't play with those". I was caught so off guard I didn't have a thought she was doing it for my girls. I came out of the aisle and the girls had horrified looks on their faces. Apparently they had tried on a wig. That is NOT how you handle this situation. All she had to do was come to me (the adult) and ask me to have them stop. Done!! Instead she embarrassed two school girls for being girls. BTW, no instructional signs anywhere. Horrible service! Don't mess with my girls! Learn how to provide pleasant service so you don't run away customers because you mistreat them. read more

Instead of coming here and being mistreated, I recommend you take the time to visit a store that is black owned in Cobb. There is a store literally one light away, Life Style Beauty Supply at 2090 Baker Rd #301, Kennesaw, GA 30144, in the Publix shopping plaza. Another store that is bigger but a little further is Atlanta Beauty Depot at 2388 Cobb Pkwy SE, Smyrna, GA 30080 I have patronized this store's business for several years now since I moved nearby and it is conveniently located next to Kroger where I frequently shop. The female owner has always been pleasant enough towards me, in my experience. However, the older man who also owns the shop has been rude on more than 1 occasion. And today, with everything going on in our country, I decided enough was enough. I approached the door, where the sign indicated that they close at 8:30, however the sign was off and I assumed they were closing. Before I could walk away, he opens the door looking irritated and asked what I need. And I said..hair products. He looked annoyed, but let me in, and I needed products and wanted to buy black owned brands, so I came in. I browsed for all of 5 minutes before he comes down the aisle rushing me talking about..what brand are you looking for. I explained I was looking to switch and was just seeing what my options were. He briskly told me they closed at 8. I said well, your sign said 8:30 and you let me in. He said, no 8, bluntly. I said well..I could leave and go spend my money elsewhere. He said no no..but still gave an ugly look over his shoulder. I decided though that in 2020, I would not be spending my money where I am not valued as a customer or treated with respect by all of those who profit off of my dollars being spent there. read more

I go into this store frequently and haven't had any problems until now. I had went in today to get acrylic powder and liquid because I am out and as I am going through the colors to decide what I want the owner calls one of the employees up front with her. I didn't think anything of it until the owner and the employee walked up to and the owner says "take everything out of your pocket". I was so confused and asked her what she was talking about and she responded with "I saw you in camera you put one of the big acrylic powders you picked up in your pocket". At this point I was VERY angry. I took everything out of my pockets and threw it all on the grounds turning around so that they could clearly see that I absolutely did not steal a $6.99 thing of powder and told her she needed to go recheck her cameras and see that she is completely out of line. She tells the employee to not let me out as she walks around to the cameras and at this point I was so heated the employee can feel it. As she checks the cameras she seen that I in fact DID NOT take anything and that I indeed did put it back on the shelf where I picked it up from to look at it and says "ok its ok you did put it back". I in a very enraged tone as I sling the door open inform her that I will NEVER be back. The owner of this place is falsely accusing people of stealing and I will be letting the people in the area that come to this place what type of people own this business! NOT EVEN A SORRY! read more

For some reason I think a lot of beauty supply stores in Kennesaw are over priced. I'm not sure if it's due to the area being a little in between high end. In addition to that I feel that they get over on those that do not know much about hair. For starters blended human hair is a blend of mostly synthetic and maybe some human hair.. yes they say you may curl it but trust me it goes bad like the regular synthetic hair. So why are you selling it for $90?! I feel that the store has more than they need here and it becomes overwhelming just walking in. I will continue to come here for the little stuff like eyelashes but will continue to go to the hair store near dd's discounts in Marietta. They have a large selection that is neatly out on the floor and also a section for wigs. The wigs have a display but the great thing here the wigs are in the back and you can get a nicer one other than the one on the display. The prices vary but trust me if your paying $90 it's real human hair . Make sure to look at the labels ladies and look around before making a purchase at some of these beauty supply stores. read more

I had my hand in my pocket reaching for something, and she assumed I was stealing and rushed over to me asked to look in my pockets and snatched the items I was buying out of my hand forcefully. Despite my specific question about returning an item, the owner neglected to tell me that there were no refunds, only exchanges. Nor did this information appear on the generic receipt. I returned the unused item two days later, with the receipt, and was refused credit to my Visa account or a cash refund. The owner was adamant that I was told about their store "policy" on returned items. After observing other customers eating chocolate, then combing their fingers through wigs and hairpieces, I disgustedly agreed to a "store credit." This "store credit" turned out to be nothing more than a handwritten date and dollar amount on the back of my original receipt. This receipt had neither the name of the store (it is also not displayed on the outside of the store) nor the name/signature of the owner. I had to return to the store to obtain a business card with the store name and address in order to write this review. Buyer beware at this store. read more

I would not recommend that you show here if you are a person of color. The Asian man that's the owner is very rude and racist. He told me that I could not return a product because it wasn't in new condition. I showed him an unopened box in his store and it was packaged the exact same way. He still said no. I told him that was fine and I would just buy it. It wasn't worth arguing over $7. He still continued to get upset and talked to me like I was a child. I have been going to this place for over 3 years. Not once have I ever asked to exchange anything. After all of the money I've spent here, he would choose to degrade me. Service was miserable. I'm a product junkie & I usually like to take my time to read up the ingredients that are in the different product before I make my purchase. When I came here, the Asian lady who supposedly is the manager was on my back& followed me everytime i would stop to look up a product. I got quite upset after a couple of minutes and when I questioned her, she made it seem like it she was just trying to see if I needed help. If I needed help, I'm sure I would have asked someone. I will never shop at this store again. The manager in this store was very rude and disrespectful to me. I came into the store with my 19 month old on my hip. I went in to look for Loc spray. I found a product that I was interested in but it looked like it was leaking. So I found another one. I was squatting down looking at another product and knocked another product over. She comes over to me and tells me that I need to watch my child because she was touching things and knocking them over and that those things were expensive. I told her that she wasn't touching anything that it was me that knocked the product over. She tells me that my daughter was still holding it. I told her it was a product that I was about to buy, but would no longer purchase. I put the product back and preceded to leave. I couldn't leave before telling her what she did was very rude, disrespect and condescending and I didn't deserve that. She told me that I just needed to control my kid.
