I was told that the job can be completed in either 2 days or 7 days. 2. The price for 2 days is $420.00 and 7 days is $365.00. I chose the 2 day option because I needed my laptop for work. 3. My laptop was not return in 2 days with an explanation of they ordered a defective part, with no other option but to let them continue the repair. 4. I was called to pickup my laptop 7 days after the service time he agreed. When I asked to speak to miguel about my issue. I was denied by someone by his front desk. Which could not speak any English whatsoever and had use google translation and calling everyone else except miguel to address my issue. How convenient? 5. I was finally able to speak to Miguel. I asked if could get back the difference between the $420.00 and $365.00. I was not even asking for a refund. just the fact that you could not provide the service you agreed to. 6. his reply was no and that things happen, he could not provide the difference because he would be operating at a lost. He could only offer a discount if I break another device. Even though he ordered the wrong screen, because now he saying it came without a camera. So i am not sure what the excuse was about fixing my laptop. He also blamed the company where he is getting his screens from but then admitted they reimbursed him for wrong item. I am only one who took a lost on this transaction. I advise anyone to not do this kind of business with them. they are not honest with the service they offer or provide at all. He Is just middle man trying to take advantage of customers. The person that actually does the repair is not even working in the store. We came in on a Sunday 12/22/19 to check out the phone with Jordan and checked as much as we could. Note, we have experience with thoroughly checking iPhones, so everything seemed fine to our knowledge. Since we did not foresee any issues with the phone, we decided to decline the warranty. On Tuesday 12/24/19, I was putting a screen protector on the phone when I noticed the screen was very loose and that there was a defect in the screen. We asked Jordan about the issues and if we could return the phone, however he said they don't do returns, but they would repair the phone at a discounted price. Then, he stated we should have paid for the warranty, however to my understanding the phone should be sold in good condition and the warranty is for any repairs that are caused by the OWNER, not because the STORE neglects to provide a properly working product. Anyways, after my boyfriend spoke with Jordan, he agreed to do the repair for FREE and asked us to come in. We come into the store, and Jordan leaves us in the second floor lounge while he repairs the phone in the office on the third floor. Mind you, this store is not an actual store at all. It's a rented out office space in an apartment complex downtown. You can't go into the store unless they let you in because the elevator requires a key card. About 30 minutes later, Jordan comes out with the "repaired" phone, and the phone still has that same defect. My boyfriend was not happy with this service and complained, but Jordan said that "the phone is fine," "the screen is OEM," and "the screen is supposed to do that when you press down on it." However, this is a complete lie because my boyfriend and I have the same exact phone, and with the 3D touch screen, there should not be a defect. After much arguing, Jordan agreed that if we were not happy, he'll put the original screen back on, however he would charge us $60... I'm sorry, $60 for what? He did nothing to repair the phone and we were not happy with the service or customer service he provided. Again, Jordan continued to argue with my boyfriend and Jordan started to become very unprofessional. My boyfriend then tried to get the phone back from Jordan, but then he snatched the phone away and said that if we don't pay the $60, we won't get the phone back. My boyfriend was furious and then said he was going to call the cops because at this point it was theft. Jordan then started making rude comments. I was sitting on the couch, and he says to me "Monica, I don't know how you deal with him.." Excuse me? What kind of business professional says things like this to their customers? Completely unprofessional. Jordan also said that if the cops didn't come by 7:00PM, he would be leaving with the phone. Even more unprofessional! Luckily, the cops came at 6:55PM and helped settle matters. To make things short, Jordan ended up giving the phone back and we didn't have to pay the $60. TL;DR. Don't buy a phone from here unless you want to deal with unprofessional customer service and a phone with poor quality parts. You'll end up getting charged for literally nothing, calling the cops, and wasting 2 hours of your Christmas Eve... only to get your phone back in the end for free. 10/10 WOULD NOT recommend such a place.
