We had Insulation Commandos come out because we our floors were always cold and we wanted to look…read moreinto insulating our crawl space so we would lose less heat from our main floor. We called Insulation Commandos and were able to schedule an estimate for the very next day. Other providers that we called didn't even pick up the phone or said they would return our call and ghosted us. Simon, the owner, came out to do the estimate for us. He was on time and texted us beforehand. He is very knowledgeable about insulation and was able to explain things in a way that made it easy to understand! He walked us through a few different options at different price points and didn't put any pressure on us. The best part is, we were able to schedule the project for the same week! The day of the project, Simon texted us again to let us know they were on their way. This time, he even included a picture of the truck so we knew what to expect. He and his crew were extremely efficient, professional, and courteous. They were done in a single day and cleaned up after themselves! I grabbed a few items for my son, it's so hard to determine on the floor which items are for boys and which items are for girls. I got my son some air max nikes for 70 bucks. I think they have decent prices, I was bummed to be told that you can not at least exchange items. The staff were mostly kids (at the register) and they weren't friendly at all. I had to walk back myself to get a size up from the shoes I got my son, it was taking forever for them to get someone to do it. You might find some decent deals, but don't expect great service.

Don't get tricked!…read more I requested Junk King to come out to clear out a storage unit that I had won in an auction. When I was requesting, I was told that I would be given a quote at the beginning of the job. When they arrived, the first guy who got out of the truck took a look at the unit and said they could do it for the cost of half a load. Then the other guy got out and said 3/4 to full load but most likely 3/4 and that they would do their best to get it to be as small of a load as possible. I should have known better. They worked to make the truck look as full as possible. The unit had vacuum tubes that could be used to make the load look a lot fuller than it was and that's exactly what they did. The 2nd guy told the first guy that they would load the vacuum tubes last. I didn't understand why at first but then later I did. The unit had rolls of carpet that were heavy and could have compressed anything lighter (like the tubes) from the unit if they had been put on top. They worked to make sure that was not the case - putting the carpet in first and then the lighter stuff on top to make the truck look fuller. When I left a review on Google explaining that I felt tricked, the owner called and left me a message offering a refund if I took down the review. I called him back and left a message telling him that if he agreed to change his business practices and gave a refund for how they tricked me, I would take the review down. He apparently couldn't do that and instead decided to not give a refund or change his business practices. Sad. If you must use Junk King, don't use Rock Hill Junk King and if you must use them, make sure you get an exact quote and that they load the truck efficiently. If I were you, I'd avoid altogether!
