This Metro PCS store rocks! Katherine was the person who waited on me. She's super smart, has an incredible knowledge of all the phones and best calling plans for my needs. I recently got a new job with Uber and needed a new phone. After a discussion with my husband and a few friends I decided a Metro PCS phone would be my best option. I decided the next morning I would go to my neighborhood authorized dealer. All my friends suggested that I make the drive to Richmond. They all said wonderful things about this place. When I arrived I was greeted by an employee at the door. I asked who I should talk with about a new iPhone or Android smart phone. I was directed to a sales person named Ian. After asking me about my needs in a phone, what I tend to use my phone for and a few other questions I was shown three phones including an iPhone. Although some of the Androids where more affordable; I choose the iPhone. Ian offered a finance program if it better suited my needs. I agreed it would help and after a short application I received approval. Ian and this store where professional, honest and very helpful. I also can't believe how clean this store is. Oh, the adventure that is trying to find a Metro PCS Store with good customer service. Let's see, I went to at least 4 other Metro stores in the area. This one has the best customer service. It's clean. Even the guards are friendly. The staff that i have encountered have been knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and efficient. Especially Vinny. He's over the top. Almost too good to be true. We had a problem with our account, so I called the store to talk to him about it and he wasn't there. I spoke to a polite young lady, she told me he would be in later that day after 3pm. She asked if i wanted help, or to leave him a message. I said no. You know the drill right? Too much to explain to a new person, I figured i'd just call back the next day. Nope. He called me back at 3:15pm. I was confused. I asked him, "How did you know it was me that called, I never gave my name?" "I checked the caller I.D." he said. Then he promptly took care of the issue at hand. Do you know what that means? That means, that he had to check with an associate, find out SOMEONE called, figure out the time it was, scroll through the caller i.d. log, locate me and do you see where I'm going with this right? That's called initiative. Very few people have it these days. Hey Mister Manager. Pssst! PROMOTE that guy. give him a raise, something, Anything! This metro is one of the worst ones I've been to so far. I bought a cell phone on the 24th . I believe Astrid was the one that helped me and she was friendly with everythin. I didn't have that cell for long I didn't use it the whole day until I decided to take it off the charger and take pictures that the screen for messed up mind I didn't use it the whole day didn't drop it not nothing. It was already late and we'll had no other choice but to wait till the 26. So at first I went to the main metro in Albany Vanessa I believe her name was, she was very very helpful she is very patient very nice right she told me I could go back to the store I bought my phone at and get it exchanged with no hassle so I don't have to use my warranty. So I went back to this store in San Pablo I was help by this female with glasses, I told her I'm here to exchange my cellphone because I just bought it and the screen is fuzzy. She talked to this guy I didn't get his name but they were being very secretive until I heard the day just do it under warranty. When I heard them say that I told them I don't want to use my warranty Its been under 7 days so I can exchange my cell phone. At that point the female with glasses was telling me yeah of course until she asked me to Bring the box I told her we threw the box away I didn't know this was gonna happen to my cell are at that point she was telling me there is nothing she can do unless I do the warranty because the owner didn't want to get charged for a phone that didn't work telling me that they need to send it back to the company which is false I got told something totally different from the other store so she kept talking to another customer that I guess she was helping at the same time and to me that's very unprofessional of her she was rolling her eyes anytime I tried to ask her a question and just kept talking to the other customer because they knew each other. Very rude lady so she told me to wait for the manager. I did and it was pointless she was no help at all she told me I need to Bring the box and the charger I told her the same thing I also told her keep the charger of the new phone o don't need it just put the cell in the new box she told me mop can't do that. So at the end of it all o went back to Albany and the same lady helped me and told me the people that helped me did not know what they were doing because of the fact that I didn't use my cell at all overall my experience at this store was terrible never again no stars at all but yelp told me I have to read more

I've been inside other metro stores in the area and they certainly lack presentation. The traffic flow in this store is always consistent and efficient. Customer service is always the priority. The Asst manager there Corina is completely rude. She constantly interrupted me, was heaving big sighs and rolling her eyes at me. She let it be known that she did not care about my issues or what metro had done to me. Metro pcs cost me the grand opening to my new business bc their system was acting up and my phone got turned off even tho the bill was paid. I had to talk to 26 metro employees before I got my phone fixed. If that wasn't bad enough, the next day, Mother's Day I could not call my mother bc my phone didn't work. Turns out she had collapsed, she was found late that night unresponsive with the phone in her hand and my number was the last that she called. I was trying to explain this to Corina as she was interrupting me and sighing and rolling her eyes. She is cold and uncaring and NOT a positive face of Metro PCS. They initially offered me a 6.00 credit for my issues.....actually Im just going to leave that right there, there are no words for the insult thrown my direction by metro employees. I am searching for another service provider. The only positive thing I received AFTER the FACT was a call from Ira Im not sure if he is the manager or owner, but he called me and we had a heart felt conversation and he made me feel like he cared what happened to me at his place of business. He listened and he expressed exactly what I needed to hear. Im not certain if it was enough to keep my business. I am going to mull it over but the injury inflicted upon me this weekend was deep. It should not take 6 hours on the phone, 26 customer service reps, 2 stores to get one issue resolved. They ended up paying my bill this month but it took me turning into a chupacabra to get Metro to do the right thing. You dropped the ball on this one and if this woman has a job tomorrow after the way she acted, then justice has not been served. Corina I hope nothing ever happens to your mother and you are left on the outside, helpless, afraid, and empty, but honestly, you deserve worse. Learn some customer service skills but then I'm not entirely certain that you have the aptitude for customer service, roll your eyes at me. I had visited 3 other cell stores before killing some time at this store in Richmond last week. They had just moved from next door and were still finishing up some construction and finish details. Evidently the old store was too small for this busy store. There was a que for a line but I was helped immediately by a very friendly young man Vinnie. I knew what I wanted from the other stores I had visited and after answering all of his qualifying questions, the salesman told me I didn't need to spend the $300 I thought I needed to spend, and instead he explained why a phone with a few less features which I wouldn't be using would save me about $170. He then offered to download my address book and text history... 2 of the other 3 stores I visited wanted a fee for this additional service. The download took over 20 minutes and during this time he helped a few other customers but checked in with me every few minutes to let me know how the download was progressing. This young man multi-tasked flawlessly and I believe he speaks at least 3 languages in doing so. It's been a week since I got my new phone, I love it and saved a bunch of money in doing so. I highly recommend this store, I believe they have the best interests of their clients as their first priority read more

I was driving around late at night, trying to find a open MetroPCS store to pay my bill because I couldn't pay online due to the website being under maintenance. I drove by this one, and saw that they were closing... But I still decided to give it a try, and see if they could take a payment. They greeted me so politely, and asked if I needed to make a payment. I replied "yes, please". My monthly bill for 3 phones was $165, I saw a big banner that said 4 lines for $100. I was curious to find out how that worked. I told them that I only had 3 lines, and asked if they had any deal for 3 lines. Apparently they had a deal 3 lines for $90 and the requirement was that all lines needed to be gsm which it was but I also needed to get me a new number and a new phone. Even though I did not need a new phone, I bought an extra one for my brother who just turned 12. I got my brother a LG F6 and now all my lines are for $100 a month thanks to their interest in helping. Now I'm going to save $65 every month!
