We had a great experience having my daughter's iPad screen replaced. They were very communicative responding over Yelp when I had questions on the cost and process. We dropped off the iPad and were able to get it back very quickly, which depends on the time of day the device is dropped off with them. The gentleman was friendly in his customer service. part of my iPhone 12 screen stopped working so I stopped by to get a new one. the phone was otherwise perfect so I was hoping to keep using it for another year or two. friendly guy working the store who was able to swap out my screen in about an hour. unfortunately my faceid no longer worked after the screen swap. he tried to troubleshoot but unfortunately we couldn't get it to work. I tried to use my phone without faceid but so many apps need Face ID to work properly now so I bought a new phone to get the functionality back. I ended up having to pay for a new screen for my old phone and a new phone with face id which was not a good outcome. read more

I decided to make a trip to Pinole to get my iPad screen repaired. Prices in the Berkeley area were not economically feasible. My iPad 6 could be replaced with a refurbished one for $175.00. The costs quoted to me ranged from $170 to $$249. "World Phones" charged me $115.00. The service was excellent. My iPad was ready in one day. The owner also found a broken spring inside which he fixed. at no cost. He showed me a photo of the repair. I highly recommend. If you don't know Pinole well, make sure you get explicit directions.
