The cigar sellers will stare at you all the time so you can't concentrate on picking out a cigar, many of the cigars still have green spots, and the prices are higher than elsewhere, not recommended. read more

The worst online experience of my life. I purchased based on their advertising. They sent my product the next day (great). They sent 10 cigars instead of the 50 advertised, apologized and said there is nothing they can do, "take me to court". I asked for a solution, they offered no solution and were completely unwilling. They have good selection of Cuban Cigars with all the major brands being covered. The owner was very helpful and took his time helping me out. Prices were not the lowest I have seen for Cubans. The had a good selection of non Cuban cigars and the prices on those were good. Good selection of accessories and they are priced reasonably well. I would recommend it to the people who know exactly what they want. The Humidor is a huge cabinet in the wall and is not a fancy walk in type place. The do accept credit card which is great. 3.5 stars. read more

I am not sure if I caught the owner on a bad day but he was incredibly rude. I was interested in trying a new type of cigar and so naturally I had questions; when asked for his input, he insulted me. I promptly left. Certainly an odd way to run a business, particularly a business that presumably relies on a narrow group of regular customers for its primary source of sales. There a plenty of other shops in the area that will actually assist you rather than dismiss you. read more

Metro Cigar has great customer service, and they do have an excellent selection of Cuban Cigars, with most major brands being represented. The owner was very helpful & knowledgeable, and assisted me in making my selection, but the prices are not cheap, even in Canadian dollars. The selection of non-Cuban cigars was lesser, but the prices on those sticks were better. Good selection of accessories, as well. I do recommend Metro Cigar for those in search of Cuban stogies, but they don't come cheap. read more

The owners are knowledgeable and helpful and always have the best products. They have a great selection to choose from. If you're in Toronto, and like cigars, this is a must stop!!! My cousin asked so many questions, as there are not really any cigar shops in Mypos. I landed at Metro a few months ago after having an extremely disappointing customer service experience at another downtown cigar shop. My experiences at Metro thus far have been outstanding. Bashir is a polite and patient "guide" to a cigar n00b like myself, and is full of advice. He has made numerous suggestions for me to try based on my purchases, some more $, some less $, but never do I feel like I'm being up-sold. All the cigars I've bought have been outstanding, with none unravelling and falling apart as was wont to happen at my old shop. He also suggested (and provided) a beefed up humidification device to fix an issue i was having with my humidor. He even went as far as providing me with an old broken cutter so I could replace a screw that fell out of my existing one (purchased elsewhere), rendering it useless. This kind of customer service is exactly what I'm looking for when I'm looking for a local business to make purchases at. I want someone who will foster a relationship, and treat my business as more than the sum of the last single transaction. Bashir understands this and thats why I now return there every week or so to make purchases. Highly recommend! read more

This tobacco shop has a great selection of cigars and pipe tobacco and has excellent prices. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly whether you're buying expensive cigars or just a tin of tobacco. Highly recommended. read more

Based on my research, this is one of the only places in Toronto where actual tobacco shisha can be found. That being said, it is absurdly over-priced. $65 for 250g of shisha compared to about $20 across the border. Yes, duty is about 60% on tobacco but this is ridiculous. read more

Metro Cigar has been a staple for me and my family for years. The owner is very sweet and has wonderful customer service not to mention a great selection. He is very knowledgeable and helpful! I currently no longer live in the city and he even has shipped specialty items I cannot buy in my hometown up north to my family with no hassel.
