Absolutely terrible customer service. Like Gabriel B's review from 10/2/12, I purchased tickets for an event several months in advance. The event date changed and there was NO communication from this organization. Nor will they issue refunds. Secondly, they are way overpriced. Expect to pay DOUBLE the face value of the ticket. They have ridiculously bogus processing fees and artificial shipping costs. Go with Ticketmaster or StubHub over this fraud of a company. read more

For my wife on Valentine's Day, I purchased two premium tickets for Colbie Caillat in Thousand Oaks CA from Metro Entertainment. I bought these in January. On Friday before Valentines, I get a call that Metro's "Seller did not provide the tickets." I called, but being on the East Coast, they were closed. They have charged my credit card, but I don't have the tickets. Today is Valentine's Day and I'm mad at these scammers. I've called and left messages asking for my money. METRO ENTERTAINMENT runs a fraudulent business. read more

I would also give zero stars if possible. I wanted to buy tickets to Wicked as a gift and when I googled it, Wickedthemusicalticketsonline.com was the first link. I purchased the very expensive tickets and was also charged a $20 service fee per ticket as well as a $15 shipping fee - there was no other shipping or printing option. When I received the tickets, someone else's name was printed on them and the price noted on the ticket was $30 less than what I paid for just the ticket. After doing additional research, I see that this is a "ticket broker" and not affiliated with Wicked, the theater, or Ticketmaster. I have not yet heard back from customer service. Obviously, I should have done my research sooner, I just made the assumption they were the ticket seller. So, my lesson is learned and I will make sure to do a bit more research in the future. read more

Metro Entertainment delivers on what they offer. Re-sale tickets at re-negotiated pricing. I purchased two concert tickets with express shipping and received them FedEx when I woke up in the morning. They are legitimate tickets with the same seating numbers as advertised. For those who complain about pricing; if you want the price that is offered at ticketmaster or the Opera house or whatever... GO GET YOUR TICKETS THERE! If they are sold out, Metro Entertainment has served as a great alternative. read more

This is a terrible scam they make their site look so official name it Sacramento tickets I payed 179.80 more than the tickets cost. TH hey charged me double the price of the tickets and and had an additional charge listed as OTHER EXPENSES for 109.20. Hilarious. Granted everyone needs to make a buck, but seriously? The only response I got from their Customer Service Rep is that I should have read the fine print and that sometimes the price I pay will be lower...really? That's funny. I'll never know as I will always, always just go through Ticket Master. I can see an extra 50.00 or so but almost 200.00? They know this is a scam. Lesson learned. read more

This is a scam, Pure and simple. They burn people by pretending to be the official web site for purchase and then list the ticket prices at nearly double the price. In this case 51.25 tickets were sold at 93.00 and then on top of that they don't let you use will call the CHEAPEST way of getting your tickets is to have them shipped at $15.00 no not 15.00 for the shipping... $15.00 PER TICKET... so three tickets in the same envelope are $45.00! And you thought Ticketmaster was bad? Of course they won't let you exchange or refund 5 minutes later... I guess we expect that, becasue too many people would want a refund after they figured out they had been ripped off by these scammers. My advise... stay far away from this web site and merchant. the 51.25 tickets cost about $112 each when all was said and done. Stay away... stay far away!!! read more

I am a ticket broker so I understand tickets being overpriced. However, I do not understand ordering tickets from Metro and then finding out 2 days before the event that the tickets were sold to someone else and basically I was out of luck. I have bought from them a few times and it seems that more than half of the orders I have placed have ended in this same scenario. For people who are actually the end customer and using the tickets, there is a good chance you will get burned. These guys are the reason the ticket broker industry has a bad stigma. read more

Scammers! The story is the same as you have read about these scam artist. You think you are on a legit site and purchase grossly overprocied tickets, pay service fees and shipping. We bought Disney on Ice from them thinking we were on the official Disney Site. The tickets were doubled in price, we paid 36 in Service fees and 15 for Shippong, a whopping $211 for $88 tickets. Our tickets were for the wrong day and in someone else's name. They werent even real tickets, they were printed from a home printer with poor quality directly from the Ticket Master website. They are the scum of the earth. Don't order tickets from them or read more

I would give them zero stars if possible. This company is very deceitful. I googled Mamma Mia and this was the sponsored link. The web address was www.keller.auditoriumportland.com, so i figured it was who Keller auditorium used to sell tickets. That is not the truth. This is a ticket scalping company. I paid $62 for $20 tickets. Please save yourself the trouble and your money and buy your tickets through ticketmaster. I e-mailed the company asking about the price difference and they never responded to me. read more

So, I ordered some tickets from this company on-line for a baseball game and when we arrived at the stadium we found out that the game time had been changed. Because they were someones season tickets the actual owner was informed of the changed but failed to let anyone know. I understand it is not the responsibility of this company to inform of time changes, but when I asked "So I am basically screwed?" the customer service rep told me "Well yeah." without any remorse or explanation. This company and the season ticket holder got my money and we got nothing. I would not be as upset if the rep had been a little more apologetic or apathetic. Needless to say, I am not going to be going through this group ever again. read more

Don't get scammed by this company . They oversell tickets to events, charge your credit card, and then cannot product the tickets. Absolultely avoid this company AS WELL AS Ticket Liquidator.com, who the tickets were purchased for. They are a third party and FRAUDULENT JUST AS METRO ENTERTAINMENT IS!! I am reporting this company to the BBB as well as the Attorney General's office. read more

On January 3rd when trying to find an alternative to the ticket master website headache I found this metro entertainment website. Thinking that the deal found here was better than the ticket master one (which was not!) I purchased 2 promenade level tickets for the Ringling Bro Circus in Tampa FL. When I opened the FedEx pkg ($15 charge) I noticed they sent me tickets for the incorrect section, under someone else name and downgraded tickets instead. I called customer service but no one was available to answer my call. I emailed them 3 times but no succeed so I called ticket master and they told me they are not responsible for 3rd party sales which I understand. I tried to call this metro entertainment until finally someone VERY rude answer my call. At this point I was not crazy mad anymore so I nicely asked him to please explain to me why they sent me tickets that did not have my name, they were in a completely different section opposite to where the show was going to take place, and why I got $29.75 tickets when I paid $46.00 for mime. He explained that they sent me tickets for a better section, even though the section I bought was right in front of the event and I paid almost double price!!! And he said that's the policy and they could not cancel, reimburse or make any changes once the tickets are purchased. He said there was nothing they could do and that was it. He was very, very rude and unhelpful. I have bought tickets from third parties before but after this experience I rather to go through anything and buy the tickets from the original seller.... same as the airline tickets and hotels. Otherwise, what you thought it was a great awesome deal could turned into a nightmare! Check all the BBB and ripoff complaints before you even think of buying from them. I will go to the circus with my son and I will enjoy it but I will NEVER buy anything else from Metro Entertainment and I will NOT recommend it to anyone either. read more

Metro exceeded my expectations with my KISS/Motley Crue tickets for last night's show in Atlanta! I will admit, I was very nervous after reading the reviews here. The tickets I purchased were 10th row section 101. I was assured the seats would be where I selected, together and with no obstructed view. The price for each ticket was $91 + 22.75 service fee- then a ONE TIME charge of $15.00 for delivery at will call. so my grand total was 242.50. I am accustomed to service fees with tickets these days so it was no big deal & they were CONSIDERABLY less than what I had found on other sites- I had almost bought tix with another company but they wanted $14.95 for delivery but then I had to go and pick them up somewhere 20 min. from the venue ( that didn't seem right & may have not been very safe!) Rob with Metro assured me that my tickets would be at will call, they would be hard tickets & if there was ANY problem to call him. We got to will call, gave them my ID- the guy said, "oh, I recognize your name, yours are on top." before I signed for them I asked if he would show me the ticket-- sure enough: Section 101, row J seats 19/20. Ok, awesome!! As if that wasn't enough he then said, "and you know that you can head to the right to VIP- it's air conditioned with food & full cash bar."... completely unexpected! thank you!! Walked right in and got a drink- enjoyed the cool air and called Rob at Metro to say "thank you, thank you, thank you!!!"-- the icing on the cake was finding our seats not only exactly where they were supposed to be, seats 19 & 20 were on the inside aisle.. PERFECT!! I will order from them again & again! Once again, thank you Rob & Metro Entertainment! Beverly C.~ GA. edited to add: let me mention that the face value on my tickets was $157- AND I'm NOT an employee of Metro.. read more

Minus 1 star after reading the other reviews.... Just bought tickets from this company, mistakenly thinking that I was on the website for the theater. Was given tickets in the wrong section and was told they were a "substantial upgrade" from what I ordered. They are TERRIBLE tickets on one side of the stage. For anyone who enjoys music in a large venue this is the very LAST place you want to sit. NOT as advertised.. NOT what I paid for.. And it was substantially more than buying through ticketmaster for the same seats. Unless your desperate.. Dont use Metro. Update... After calling back I was given $10 off per ticket due to the "inconvenience". I still wont use Metro again but 3 out of the 7 people I talked to were all very pleasant... The rest were rude. Thank you to the 3 females who were pleasant. Still... $hitty tickets for more than face value... Ticketmaster has better than what I was given for cheaper as I type this. read more

I purchased my tickets for a concert through Metro Entertainment. My review is mixed. Let's start with the bad. Bad: The site I purchased my tix from was a "mimic site" used to dupe buyers into believing it was the venue's official site. It wasn't. I'm sure this calculated bit of deception has fooled other buyers. Good: After reading the many bad reviews, I was completely (and understandably) skeptical about the state of my tickets. My tickets were projected to be sent out about a week before the concert. I got them several months in advance. Now to clear things up... There are many reviews about inflated pricing and tickets being in others names. This is true. I'd ordered 3 tickets, which totaled out to $602. There were $50 in fees applied to each ticket. Because the cost was split 3 ways, I didn't find this to be a deal-breaker. The fact is, this is a 3rd party website. They aren't concerned with your concert experience; they are looking for profit. The tickets are in the name of whoever originally purchased the tickets. I won't this company is basically a legal scalping operation BUT.. well yeah I will say it. Once you understand that, then the rest pretty much falls into place. End of the day, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I ordered seats in a general area (201-207 or something similar) and ended up getting reasonable seats. Each time I contacted customer service, I was given a prompt, courteous reply. The only reason I give them 4 stars is due to the deception of redirecting me to a false website. I would have purchased with them anyway; their prices were much more reasonable than stubhub at the time. Overall good experience. read more

To echo Darrel W. from May 2012, this site is a scam- pure and simple. They're online ticket scalpers. They mask their site to look like an official ticket reseller and then overcharge substantially on face value ticket prices. We were charged $120 dollars for tickets with an additional 31.80 service fee on each ticket (+15 dollars to ship). When they arrived, the tickets had only a $98 face value. We called to ask for the difference in refund and were told that there are additional service fees baked into the base price they display on the website, a clear violation of CT ticket resell law requiring sellers to display service charges. We then said that we'd like a full refund (still three weeks away from the event). When we asked to speak to a manager, she cursed out my fiancee and hung up on her when confronted with this fact. They claim the additional fees are because these tickets are so hard to find, but when we tracked down Telecharge, they told us that the five seats next to ours are free... can't be that tough. Bottom line, don't give a dime to these guys. read more

No idea what customer service is! I wish I could give zero stars. I purchased tickets to an event for 121$ per ticket. The final cost after the hidden service charge was 170$ a ticket for service fees and shipping per ticket. When my overpriced tickets arrived, they were not the tickets I purchased, they were for a different row and section. We could no longer sit with the other people in our group because we were put in a different section. When I called Metro Entertainment the man told me there was nothing he could do for me, even though the mistake was on their behalf. The prices for these tickets decreased on their website as the event got closer, the seats were closer up and cheaper. They wouldn't even refund us the difference. We bought cheaper tickets from StubHub for 54$ EACH. No hidden fees and the seats were closer than the ones from Metro with better pricing. We didn't use the tickets from Metro and instead disputed the 680$ charge for four unused, incorrect tickets through my bank. They denied the dispute and we got stuck paying them 680 dollars for absolutely NOTHING. They don't care about their customers. All they want is your money. I have never been more dissatisfied. read more

A zero star needs to be offered. This business charges nearly 20.00 service charge per ticket. It also charges an overall service fee and a delivery fee. They refuse all exhanges. I ended up paying 327.00 for4 45.00 tickets. THEN they sent the wrong tickets and of course it was my fault and they refused to exchange them so now I need to buy new ones. Definitely not duying them from METRO. I wanted to take a group of handicapped people to the show and purchased 9 tickets in two groups and they refused to put us together. DEFINITELY A NO BRAINER. Metro Entertainment couldn't deliver tickets that they charge my credit card for. A few days before the event and the tickets had not arrived, so I called them and the resulting emails are below. From: "Donald C" Sent: Monday, February 6, 2012 6:33am To: "'Kathryn" Cc: "ME-Customercare" customercare@metroentertainment.com Subject: RE: In Regards to Your Ticket Request # 9169697 Dear Kathryn, We're sorry the confusion. As it states in the Term and Conditions that you accepted when you placed your order; all orders are a request until we can process that order. Orders are processed in the order they are received, meaning, we complete each order until our inventory is depleted, then we remove those seats from the internet. Since many websites are not in real time, there could be a short delay before the undated information is reflected on that website. In other words, we do not sell tickets and then resell them to someone else. Orders come in quickly, we fill each order as they arrive, and we just simply sold out before we could process your order. It's important to read and understand the information websites post on their sites to avoid any confusion. Unlike other sites, we refund more than you originally paid because this happens so rarely and we understand the inconvenience this has caused. We hope this clears up the misunderstanding. Metro sold us tickets that looked funny from the time we printed them out. There was type over one of the barcodes on the MLB tickets. We called before we left to inquire about this and to whether it was going to prevent us from getting into the venue. We were assured that there wouldn't be a problem, but they emailed us the same flawed tickets again, just in case. When we got to the ball field, the people scanning tickets scanned ours and then sent us to customer service. At customer service, the lady asked for our IDs. She said that our names were not on the tickets so they couldn't let us in. In the meantime, I had called Metro and was speaking to a representative who assured me that nothing like this had ever happened before and we would definitely not have to pay for these tickets. He looked at the tickets we had been sent remotely and saw there were issues, which had had brought up before we even left. We ended up having to buy tickets from someone selling extras at the park. When I called to inquire about the guaranteed refund the following day, the woman on the phone was not apologetic, but rude and nasty. I was told that we would need documentation from the stadium proving that we were not admitted. I understand the reasoning for this, but why didn't the guy I was on the phone with while this was happening tell me I would need this as I stood at the venue being denied. The entire issue is still unresolved and I am appalled at the customer service and indignant attitude of the person who took my call. We tried to prevent this from happening before we even left and were late because of being on the phone with the first joker. Hoping that the ballpark will issue us this letter, but I'm not even sure who we would talk to in order to get such a thing. It's not even about the $35 at this point. We weren't the ones who sold a faulty product, but now we have to jump through hoops, even after trying to correct the problem before it happened. Quite a disgrace. Be warned. read more

I made the mistake of ordering show tickets from this location believing they were the "official ticket vendor" for the theater. I ordered tickets in a Section D for $124/ticket, plus shipping and "handling fees". The tickets I received were a different area and face value of the ticket, $70. When called and asked about that, thinking I might get some kind of refund for the different seats, I was told they purchase the tickets from the location and sell for a profit. I bought tickets for the Morrissey concert in Denver. The concert was canceled so I called and was told I would be getting my money back for the canceled concert. A month later I did not receive a refund and was told the concert had been rescheduled. I checked into it and it had be rescheduled 3 months later and at a different venue.
