Great experience both over the phone and in person. Didn't know or remembered that I have acct with them for yrs before I open the toll road 5yrs ago. And I have $$ in the account but they charged monthly fee so it ate up all and went negative. Got letter and call them and they helped to solve the issue...very friendly and helpful and since I was in the neighborhood, stopped by to shown some ID and got it resolved & closed up the acct and get $$ back prior to the monthly applied. The office is easy to find and easy parking since it has big parking lot. Went in and checking through kiosk and within a min l, got called and went to window to get issue resolved. Easy fast & with friendly service.

Truly was not sure where I was, but it's a across from a Home Depot, no lights or real intersection, but a super hub for the LA Metro bus system, including the J Line (aka Silver). Just off the 110 Freeway, by the 91 and nearby the 405 on 182nd Street. I was pleasantly surprised to see they layout here. Easy to navigate, plenty of signs and like a lot of others have mentioned efficient. Times for frequency on weekends are the worst. It was giving, " All he cares about is school and his mom and his friends (and work)." Does the LA Metro not realize people like to enjoy the weekend also after a long hard week? Thankfully I wasn't going to much further from here and caught a ride over to Redondo Beach. The area is a little rough around the edges, but pretty updated and cleaned up where it counts. Definitely should be some safer walking and crossing areas, outside the Transit Center. Public restrooms are available. Parking is also available if commuting with roughly 1,000 spots. LA Metro workers often around and visible. Great way to get to events, work and functions. Hope times, frequencies and connections improve in the future. You can't predict traffic, incidents or human circumstances, but you (LA Metro) can plan better for transfers and smoother rides from point A to B on their end.

On weekday afternoons, there is a bus every 5 minutes. On weekends, they run every 15. We arrive back to the transit center after 10 pm at times and I never feel unsafe. A ride home if I have had a couple drinks is way cheaper than parking Downtown. It is also a quick bus ride to BMO Stadium and the Coliseum.

Parking is easy and it's free. I like the long escalator and stairs, good for exercise. I think this is officially "The End of the Line" so there's no way you can accidentally take the wrong train in the wrong direction, they all go to "Norwalk" I think. I think the whole "TAP CARD" system is a bit flawed and user-un-friendly. It's not intuitive for the novice public transit rider. This is a clean station that feels safe, at least during the daylight / daytime hours I've gone here.

With the opening of the new Aviation/Century station near the airport, the southbound stretch of stations on the C Line was reconfigured to become part of the newer K-Line. Like before, travelers can use this stop to get to LAX by train (and one shuttle). There are plans to extend out the K-line further south into Torrance. Coming from Long Beach, there was never a reason to go this far past the airport stops, so we've never been to this station. However, during Election Day '24, when all Metro rides were free, my wife and I decided to take the new K line as far as we could, to explore a little and grab lunch if we could. As expected at a terminus that primarily serves workers going to their jobs, the trains and station were empty mid-day. This is one of those stations that is very high up (higher than the massive freeway clover of I405 close by), so it has a VERY long stair ramp on both sides and (working) elevators.

After the game it was a short walk back to the bus. Much quicker trip home. It's near the intersection of the Harbor & Riverside fwys. Pros: it's free; no driving with 40000 cars trying to get there; drop off essentially at the gates; no $40 bill for parking and not fighting 40000 cars trying to leave at the same time Cons: buses fill up quickly, could be a long wait, you get packed in like sardines.

It's not well explained and it should be as simple as how the Nor Cal BART system has it showing from the departing place you are currently at, how much exactly it costs to get to each destination and fees for changing colored train lines if transfers are required. It should be that simple to lay out and explain. Otherwise, everyone is probably just buying the $6 All-Day Tap Card. The Redondo Station is really nice, the parking lot is near Tommy's Burgers, the VW Dealership and Costco. Parking is FREE, I'm not sure if it's secured or not and speculate those who park there are parking for a longer term, so opportunistic criminals probably know that ('tho it's heavily traveled and occupied so there's witnesses galore and it's not that secluded). Be smart. Be safe. Especially in the early morning or late at night. Don't leave valuables neither visible nor stored inside if you can avoid it. This train station is clean, and it probably gets "worst" from here as it travels from the suburban feeling South Bay beach cities through the urban jungle known as Los Angeles and all of the lower socio-economic areas, so you'll see some sketchy folk (read the signs about not using your cell phones to avoid grab n' snatch thieves who will yank your phone from your hands and run out of the exit door quickly if you're not paying attention). If you show fear, and look nervous, you'll appear to be a ripe victim, so be confident and aware of your surroundings. Don't look around or up. Don't stare at people. Keep to yourself. The seats are comfortable, and know that some seats are sideways (reserved for elderly and handicapped) and others are turned backwards (and forwards) since the train goes in both directions, not a circle. People bring their bikes inside the train too. I was going to the Chinatown area, so took the Green to the Blue to the Red and the end of the line is Union Station. It took about 1 hour, and we went by El Segundo, parts of 'tha 'hood", and even the LA Convention Center and Staples Center, which is good to know how easy it is to get to downtown and avoid both traffic, gas and parking expenses.

The Pico exit from the Blue Line is 1/2 block from Staples and it makes it an easy commute. Sometimes I'd miss the bus coming while I was reading my morning papers and they'd stop and wait for me. Then I'd say, "Oops! Sorry for taking so long, but thank you for waiting!" Wow. Another time I was so tired in the morning from waking at 6am (I'm a late & heavy sleeper) I'd nod off to sleep, then fall asleep right on the bench. The driver was nice enough to get off the bus and stroke me on the shoulder, so gently waking me up... unlike my actual mother who'd would pull the covers and slap me awake...
