My dog, Aspen, loved their large dog park (filled with obstacles/benches/some lights for when it's dark) and made tons of friends! The maintenance/office crew are very accommodating and friendly as well. On top of all of this, there's also a car wash station which has a free vacuum (which came in handy if you can see my dog in the pictures)! Overall, it was an amazing place to live and watch my fur baby grow up. Highly recommend!

The apartment I stayed in was one bedroom one bath. Dishwasher, in unit laundry and dryer machine, parking right outside. You pay for your own electricity bill. Rent is reasonable and affordable. The people are pleasant, but this complex's contract is just as outdated as its units are .. if you…read morehave the slightest inkling that you may not be able to finish your lease out full term, I do not recommend this apartment complex to you. You will be locked into a contract that you can not get out of, because they do not allow you to break the lease whatsoever, and they expect you to leave the utilities on in your name until the duration of the lease is up. These are very outdated practices, and you would think that in a booming city like Huntsville, there would be more emphasis on trying to lease out units quickly. If you find yourself having to move before your lease is up, they will tell you that they are going to work to lease your unit, but they won't tell you that if there are additional units that need leasing in front of yours, that yours won't be leased until those units are. And if they aren't leasing units whatsoever, you can hang up the hope of your unit being leased.. I left in March with a lease that does not end until October, and before I left, I was told by a leasing agent that she didn't think it would take but a couple of months before my unit was leased out. Almost 5 months later and it hasn't been rented out at all, and I'm not expecting it to be. Part of me feels like they have not tried. This contract is essentially a death row contract with no way out. I don't recommend these apartments to anyone who thinks they may come across other opportunities that may lead to you having to relocate mid contract. Had I not been so desperate for a place to stay moving from a different state, I would have made a better decision when it came to renting an apartment. Just make sure you read the contract to its entirety, because there are a lot of outdated practices that I have never seen before from an apartment complex. Aside from the contract, maintenance is also rude and will find any reason to come into your unit and look around. They let a bird into my apartment while I was at work and gave me a hard time about coming to get it out. It's just been a complete nightmare dealing with these people. Make a better decision if you can.

The bathrooms are luxe, the kitchens are luxe, and the storage space is luxe (even the one bedroom is huge w/ extensive and expansive closets/bathrooms!)! And I also can't say enough about the property representative, Kayleigh Frenda! She spent an immense amount of time with us and did amazing follow up to help us in any way! That was particularly compelling because we're renovating our house/prepping to sell it/move while I'm recovering from Long Covid heart damage and needing a temporary space that's still fabulous this year! Kayleigh was incredibly intelligent, customer-service oriented, a fabulous representative of her company, and absolutely kind, too! I give the Rockwell (and Kayleigh!) my highest recommendation! I love this community. The leasing office is sooooooooo nice here. I feel like I'm in a little French village here. It is so open and green. It is centrally located. It is in walking distance to a Krogers and restaurants. The only problem is that tenants never move out. If a cottage comes available and you don't snatch it up immediately, joke is on you. These are very well constructed little homes with attached garages and your own yard area. They are absolutely adorable.

It seemed to be hotter by at least 5-8 degrees compared to the apartment we had just viewed in Madison. So I think this is a warmer area in Huntsville. We did see people walking around and let's just say they did not seem like neighbors I would want to have. I did view dog poop around the property which I think is pretty sick. If you allow dogs, please don't count on dopey inconsiderate dog owners to do the right thing because they don't! Please have a maintenance guy go around picking up feces to keep your property clean! This alone caused me to cross this apartment off my list!

I first approached the Bridges several months before I could get out of my previous lease, and right from the start, Adam was informative and caring. Whenever any sort of maintenance came up, Adam and his staff were courteous and efficient, emailing me asap (at times even after office hours) to keep me updated. The location is also excellent if you're going to be working in Research Park itself; it is very centrally located (less than 10 minutes from University Drive, close to Slaughter Road, minutes from 255, etc.). It's also great for running and exercise outside. We walked to Bridgestreet regularly from our apartment. If you're going to want to be living in this area of Huntsville, I can't recommend the Bridges in Research Park enough.
