This is the only property management company that needs 30 days to review an application (other companies usually needs 2 weeks) and still they don't do their jobs. So today is the 29th of November. My tenant was supposed to move in by December 1st. She provided transcontinental with documents on nov. 6th. On 27th I spoke with Anitta and everything was fine, sending the file to board of President "next day". Today Wednesday 29th and the president of board still haven't received the file. Called Anitta again today in the morning and file was going to be sent "tomorrow". I got a call today at 4:50 pm from rude Anitta saying the file was missing something and the prospect tenant credit was "horrible". So they had the whole month to review the file but they decide to do it 1 day before the end of the month. They dont give us time to fix the problem. If you try to argue about that they will come up with the excuse of the 30 days to review a file. On the top of it, if you have to deal with Anitta, be prepared for her bad attitude. The words i got from her were: "ok let me move on to the next file, bye." and hung up on me. I will make sure the owners of the company will hear from me, I will report to DBPR and every possible social media vehicle available will get a review about their services. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

M & M Property Management could not have been any more supportive, timely, helpful, and friendly as we have navigated through the process. Everyone has been so helpful in providing us with information, assisting in seeing that our paperwork was in order, responding promptly to phone calls, and making us feel welcome as we transition from a house to condo living. And, the members of the Condo Board - Association 6 have been equally as welcoming and supportive. Kudos to Heidi Puccepti, the office receptionist who has greeted us each time with a smile and kind spirit - always striving to be of assistance while juggling multiple other tasks in a busy environment. Also, Jamie Miller in Sales and Leasing was the first person to assist us since our property manager was out of the office. She stepped up and explained the process, answered questions, and helped us see that there would be support along the way as we embarked on the application process. She is kind-hearted, has a warm spirit, and 'manages up' the association which validated for us that we were making the right decision. Our property manager, Donna Childrey, is awesome. Like the others, she tends to reach out, listen, and provide support as needed. She seems happy to answer the most mundane questions, is patient, and creates a friendly tone during conversations with her. We are so happy she will be working with our building. Trying to reach someone for assistance has been extremely frustrating, as it is nearly impossible to speak with a live representative. About a month ago, I was finally able to speak with Christin, who assured me that a refund would be issued. Unfortunately, I am still waiting and have received no resolution, no update, and no communication regarding my refund. This experience has been very disappointing, and I cannot recommend doing business with a company that handles customer concerns this way.

For those of you who don't know much about global entry: when your coming from traveling aboard, the part where you get stuck with long lines in customs etc. In Miami airport, it's usually a nightmare. Those 1-2 hours I want back in my life because I hate lines and waiting. Well I'm glad they have this global entry section. Once you get global entry approved your also pre TSA approved. No more taking off shoes, belts etc. The cost of global entry process is $100 but your global entry card is valid for 5 years. You apply for it online and then you are set up with a in person interview. For the interview you need to take your drivers license and passport. They will ask you a few personal questions regarding your : travels, age, occupation, if you have been arrested etc. This interview was painless and took less than 10 minutes. They take your photo and finger printing. And send your card afterwards in about a week or so. I would recommend getting global entry done to all travelers who love to travel at least once a year. It's seems like the hassle free way of traveling. Safe travels.~

I researched a number of choices, including Berger Commercial; Mid Guard; CBRE; Grubb & Ellis; Colliers; and others but I was looking for one person not various specialists, who would care for my properties like they were the owner, and one name kept coming up, Fitzgerald Property Management and specifically Shelby Smith, the division manager. I hired them. We have been working together for some time now and I have been very happy with the service. In particular Shelby's deep ties to the area have saved me expenses because he knows EVERYBODY, attends city meetings, has a great network of repair and service referrers and everybody likes him so they work extra hard for me. I have so far received proper maintenance and fair pricing. Calls are returned immediately, and it's always clear that what they bring to the arrangement is knowledge and expertise, not a small thing when such a broad base of management is required. I waited to write this until I was certain they were as good as I was hoping they are but it's safe to say now that dealings with Fitzgerald Property Management and Shelby Smith will be managed with respect and no surprises.
