In the past, when something truly urgent came up, they would call or at least send multiple forms of communication -- phone calls, emails, and letters -- so we knew to act immediately. This time, they switched to only email without any phone calls or clear indication that an auction was imminent. We had no idea things had escalated so far until it was too late. If you value your belongings, be aware that their communication practices are unreliable when it matters most.

The exit gate is not automatic. Nobody mentioned that you have to get out of your vehicle, walk to the building, and enter your pin to open the gate to leave. I wish someone had communicated that because I was incredibly frustrated and couldn't get a hold of the office, although I tried calling multiple times and left voicemails. Laura was exceptional, with a charisma and kindness that were truly remarkable. She was a joy to work with and to talk to, consistently brightening our day with her positive attitude. Her professionalism and genuine care made every interaction enjoyable, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

My private insurance won't cover it bc the damage wasn't caused by hail or any of that. The beam above the tote was VERY rusted to the point of there being separation. All the shoes are covered in black mold and had been submerged. The tote collected all the water that fell from the faulty ceiling.Like I said, this was not due to carelessness on my end. Id been with CS for several years and had no issues. They basically said nothing they can do bc I didnt have the stores insurance. Why would I pay for something i already had?? One would expect flooding but not leaking from a roof. When I say expensive I'm talking about Versace, YSL,Michael Kors, etc. They said they'd call thier maintenance man and get back to me. But basically nothing they can do. Id rented with them for several years and up until this instance, its been good. I want to say the manager is awesome and friendly. I know she was only doing what Cube Smart says they should do and say and the situation was completely out of her hands. She does an amazing job and is very friendly. I was inundated with texts and emails and ultimately had a $505.00 total due with $185/mo locker!! Beware!! Fat cat that ownes this place is a blood sucker that will jack your payment so high that you wont pay and they will slap a lein on you and they will take your possessions!
