The prides here are extremely fair, nothing seems too overly priced. Despite the 'small' store it's jam packed with a ton of options, if there's something here military related you want, there's a good chance this place will have it. Great place with so much cool stuff. I found the man working there to be very nice and knowledgeable so maybe it just depends on the day. I didn't expect prices to compete with online across the board and just liked to be able to browse. Got a great deal on some ammo boxes which are perfect to store fireworks and look cool. I remember when my militia group decided to switch from the 1700s uniforms of the US Military to more modern uniforms. Mostly urban camo. Anywhosen, we're like a group of 100 and I'd say 72% of us came here as a word of mouth from someone's cousin in the West Virginia militia that bought combat tactical gear and said how knowledgeable the people were here. Lol one of my friends was joking he was bent out of shape they did not have much selection for navy uniforms so if you're looking for navy uniforms they might not have as much as you're looking for but I thought the selection was good myself. So their quality is really good all USA made. Compared to some of the knock off made in China brands a lot of places sell. I bought an MA-1 bomber jacket from one place and it was a knock off...with in 1 month the threads started to loosen up. I actually took it here to get looked at and the guy said listen dude I feel like you got ripped off but if you want to check what we got maybe I'll cut you some slack. Found a new bomber he scanned it...FANTASTIC PRICES TOO?! I told him No. Thank you. I have a new store to come to from here on out. Better get there early. Was there 15 minutes before closing and wasn't even let into the store. Maybe the closing time should be adjusted to match the time you can actually enter the store. Interesting store full of everything you might ever need. Have been back several times and the guys working up front are always very helpful and definitely have their "perspectives" on various topics. Prices are generally comparable to large box stores but I prefer to support local small businesses when I can. Also have some very interesting memorabilia if you're interested. read more

Really neat and genuinely interesting stuff. Not a tourist trap with knockoff stuff, but an actual surplus shop. Everything from de-armed and inert grenades, to 20mm shells (5$, not too bad at all) and even old artillery gunsights ($$$$$$$) A really cool place ran by an interesting guy. read more

First off, the place is JAM PACKED with stuff and they're pretty decent to talk to and ask questions of. My only complaint as it were is some of the stuff is very expensive - they have holsters and gear from BLACKHAWK! that honestly, you can get a better price on if you shop online. The 5.11 tactical belts and gloves however, are arguably cheaper than you'd get at a police supply store. Overall, its better than nothing, not the greatest surplus store, and that's just because of the sheer price of the items. read more

Yesterday I had a conversation with the owner who made it known to me that he fully supports banning vets with PTSD from owning firearms regardless of whether they're a threat, and that "they're just ticking time bombs, who knows when they're gonna shoot up a school or something" and when I mentioned that two of my closest friends were combat vets and wouldn't hurt a fly he replied "You don't know that. You don't know what they're capable of. You could be hanging out and the whole time they want to cut your throat. You never know with them". I just want potential customers to know who they're doing business with. I personally won't give money to someone who speaks poorly about our servicemembers when he's making a living off of them. read more

I was apprehensive about going in there, because alot of the reviews stated the man behind the counter was rude. Nope. Not rude. He was helpful, not teddy bear cuddly, more like porcupine cuddly. He was military. I was an unintentional idiot twice, and he still had the patience to help me and my son. I wish I spent more time looking around, but I got the backpack my boy wanted and we were gone. I will go back. My son wants a canteen to go with his backpack for school. Prices were pretty good. Sorta my fault for not doing my research, but that is rather outrageous of an increase. Horrible horrible horrible. Called ahead asking to be sure they'd be open at 5:45. Got there at 5:50 and the guy said they were closed and he couldn't open the store. Ok, please adjust your hours to 5:45 then.... Never coming back since who knows if you'll actually be open. read more

This is a REAL Army/Navy surplus store. If you are looking for the genuine issue stuff, then this is the only place to go. Sure the Army Barracks stores are closer, but they really only have stuff that's not milspec. Let's face it, they primarily carry airsoft, fake swords, and trash-talk T-shirts to pull in the local kids. Not this place! Been shopping here for a little over three years now, and MWSAN comes through with good deals on hard to find items. You'll find equipment, uniforms & other military clothing, and memorabilia. There is a larger parking lot in the back if you can't get a space in front. You might not see it from the road, so look for the Subway sign because the store is next to it. The owner also visits some of the local gun shows in Marlborough and Wilmington MA from time to time, but most of his stock is at the store. read more

TONS of cool stuff and filled with clothes. But don't ask questions to the guy behind the counter. Crabby, rude and doesn't seem to know much. Asked him about a flag and he was quick to rudely tell us we can look at one that's open over there. We asked if he sold a sharpening stone and he only heard of the expensive diamond ones and never seemed to have heard of a regular Arkansas stone. Sort of sad for someone running a store like that. Cool stuff though. Even a couple gas masks. A little expensive but the stuff is great and tons of military apparel and rope. I had a very negative experience there. the guy locked the door right as I tried to enter. said they close at 6pm. It was 4:55 pm not even five. I drove a long way and was very disappointed because I wanted to buy my son some things there that were on his Christmas list. I have never seen such rudeness in a small business owner. read more

Yes his prices are more than the online sources (but don't forget, you are not paying shipping). You can try before you buy here, and are seeing the item you are purchasing. He is a local business person who is more than willing to give you all the information you need before you make the purchase. Also he carries the original military surplus items, not the China made reproductions other stores sell (Army Barracks). The store is packed floor to ceiling and sometimes you need a tour guide to find what you are looking for.
