Miracle worker is an understatement. I went in with extreme knee pain and came out feeling like a whole new person. Dr. Johnson not only fixed my knee pain but also adjusted my neck (I needed that) and aligned by back and legs. He clearly knows what he is doing and does it so well. Dr. Johnson is amazing. I have never had to go to the Chiro before today, but I had what felt like was a pinched nerve and he came highly recommended from a co-worker. I was able to schedule an appointment with only one day's notice (MPLS location). I went in not knowing what to expect and maybe a little nervous, but found the entire experience extremely helpful and reassuring. I could barely move my neck or hold my head up when I arrived. Not only did he straighten me out, but he explained in a way that I could understand what was going on. He talked through every procedure he was performing, was respectful, sympathetic, informative, and very friendly. He also provided me with advice and several stretches to do once I got home -- and showed me how to do them there. He had me return for a follow-up session the same day (so as not to put too much stress on my body at one time), of which he said he would not charge me for. Finally, a doctor who is also a human being! The thing that really gives him the "above and beyond"gold star is he even called me tonight to check in on my progress and the pain. He left a voicemail with a reminder of our treatment plan. Umm what? Did that just happen? AMAZING. I just can't believe he actually cared enough to check in. If you're looking for a good Chiro, this guy is the real deal. My Health Partners plan covered him, so good to know he is likely in-network for you too. I went in to see Dr. Mark this morning. My knee was hurting for about 4 months now and it was getting worse, but I didn't know where to go. I am so glad I was able to find Metrocenter Chiropractic! Dr. Mark kindly and thoroughly explained to me why my knee was hurting. He was so polite when describing where he will be adjusting and he basically performed magic. In just one visit, I feel a huge difference and my knee isn't hurting anymore. Dr. Mark also gave me really good instructions on what type of stretching to do at home and he even let me take photos of him stretching so that I would remember! I have gone in to Dr. Mark's office barely able to walk and came out like I have never had a back problem in my life. I was diagnosed in my early thirties with scoliosis. They missed it during jr. high checks. I have sciatica, my hips are off, I have tmj and migraines. A neurological disorder causes muscle spasms that pull my joints and spine. I'm a mess. Dr. Mark always explains everything, what is causing problems in what area and why. He's really friendly and easy to talk to and will answer all of your questions. You can get an appointment quickly, often within a day. I've had a couple of emergencies and he was able to squeeze me in. Everyone says their chiropractor is the best. I have never, ever been to a chiropractor before. Going here made sense because I work in downtown, so I could get there via skyway. Plus this place came recommended by my coworker. I have had long-term lower back pain due to the nature of my job-creative video editor-so a lot of sitting, and I recently had some sort of crazy thing happen to my neck while I was sleeping where it knotted up so bad I couldn't move my head or sleep without taking a whole bunch of ibuprofen, which is what prompted me to go in. Dr. Johnson was very friendly, sympathetic, and explained everything very well. I never knew my back could crack so much!! All in all it was a very intense experience because my back and neck have been screwed up for so long, but it was very affordable and I'm going back next week. Dr. Johnson is the best Chiropractor I've ever been too. I went on the recommendations of several co-workers who said he is the BEST. I have been to other Chiro's and they just don't compare. I have referred several people to Dr. Johnson and not one has been disapointed. He cuts to the chase and gets the job done. He doesn't try to trick you with scams, x-rays, treament plans, etc. No fuss. If I could afford it, I would go here twice a week for the rest of my life. I've suffered from Thorasic Outlett Syndrome for years from sitting long hours at a computer and going to Dr. Johnson is the only thing that makes it better. I started getting migraines when I was 14, by the time I was 16 they were happening almost everyday. I started receiving chiropractic care in the hopes that it would help and saw an improvement. When I went to college in Minneapolis, a friend from my hometown recommended seeing Dr. Johnson. Prior to this I was getting a migraine every two weeks and seeing a chiropractor just as often. Within a matter of weeks of seeing Dr. Johnson the frequency and severity of the migraines dramatically decreased. By the second year of seeing him, I was down to once every 2 months and a migraine just as often, and by the end I was seeing him once every 3 months and having a migraine once every 4. I've been going to Mark for many years. I first found him several years ago after I ran a marathon and couldn't run, let alone walk afterwards. A couple of cracks in after almost a year of not running, I ran with ease again. That was my first visit and I became a firm believer in chiropractic care after that. I've been using him regularly after that for maintenance but also saw him for specific pains I experienced during pregnancy and most recently several ribs out of place. One particular Sunday I knew his office wasn't open so I went to a different chiropractor which I had never experienced before. The experience was terrible and left me swollen and stiff and only made things worse. I saw him the week after and he fixed everything and I was pain-free almost immediately. He also gave me his cell phone number and told me I could call him during the weekend and if he was available he would meet me somewhere. I cannot say enough good things about Mark Johnson!
