After…read moreshe saw my 1 star review, she realized that we had had a miscommunication about the baseboard and she reached out to me directly to try to make amends. She offered to do a deep cleaning of my apartment and she even made an exception to come out to Queens to do it, even though she doesn't usually service Queens. The apartment was in very bad shape and she made it look fantastic. The tub was completely black with mold and it now looks brand new. She is so meticulous and on top of everything! I feel like she and her team really went above and beyond - they cleaned the AC unit, the windows, places where I did not expect her to clean, and she organized all of our clutter (but not in a bad way - I can still find everything!) And she's super communicative. For several days prior to the cleaning, she kept in touch with me to make sure that everything was ready for the cleaning (e.g., cleaning supplies and clearing clogged drains). During the cleaning itself she made sure to text me with any questions she had. She even put up with a little snafu we had when she arrived and the doorman had apparently lost the key to the apartment. She was very patient and understanding and she was so communicative the whole time! I'm really impressed with Sandy and her team. They charge extra for cleaning the oven, refrigerator and microwave. They did clean them well enough but when I went to use the oven, I'm chocking from the fumes, because it was not rinsed thoroughly. You said you would reach out to plan and you never did. You were silent July 6th until I reached out on August 1st. The screenshots of our messages do not represent "perfect communication", rather the opposite. You are correct that your employee did an amazing job, but you yourself did the opposite in regard to management. I asked for move out cleaning and asked for my key to be given to me before I scheduled anything (I will upload a photo if you've since forgotten). I sent you a message as soon as I landed to give you time to communicate and for us to plan! I reached out to you again after not hearing from you on August 1st a month later. I was no longer interested in move out cleaning after the lack of communication regarding the key to my home. I reached out again the next day, and continued to have to remind you to get in contact with me. I simply don't think that's safe when you have the key to someone's apartment and have multiple employees working for you. Communication and follow through are important when you are running a business that gives you access to people's personal property. It should not be a requirement to constantly message you and hunt you down for my key. If paying you in order to get the key to my apartment returned was a requirement, you only had to say that on July 6th when I first messaged you (or any time in the following 3 and a half weeks). I made it clear I did not want to speak anymore once you made it clear you wouldn't either bring my key back or reimburse me for it. I said this over message, I asked you not to contact me anymore. Even with this boundary made clear, you continued to find ways to privately message me multiple times. The employee who came to clean my apartment was wonderful, working with you absolutely soured that experience. Fortunately that can be fixed with growth and I hope you take the steps necessary to ensure this does not happen with another client. Having strangers hold onto my key (I have never met you!) and not communicate while I sleep in my apartment is not at all safe. I wish you all the best!
